The price point is more expensive but especially for somebody that needs more of a specialty size or piece that I would highly recommend this store. I took my daughter in recently to be fitted for a suit for her swim team. The sizing on these kinds of suits is different from what you'd find if you were shopping at Target or Lands End, so I didn't want to guess. The associate who helped us was really helpful (I unfortunately didn't catch her name!) and gave us some good tips, especially that you want your suit to be on the tighter side so that it doesn't get baggy and slow you down in the water. My daughter felt like the first one she tried on was too tight, but the employee took a look and said it was just right. She gave her a tip on how to adjust the suit and straps so that it would fit a little more comfortably without digging into her shoulders. My daughter left her sweatshirt in the fitting room accidentally, and she was nice enough to run out to the parking lot to flag us down as we were leaving.

Step into the Uplift store and be reminded what customer service is supposed to look like. I walked in without an appointment. Appointments are recommended but not required. There was a customer ahead of me, but the wait time was less than 15 minutes. Carla, the owner, showed me to a fitting room where she provided a complimentary fitting/sizing and then began showing me bras in my size. I have picky taste; no fru-fru, no flowers and no wild designs, but still feminine. Carla took my tastes and began bringing out bras not only my size, but also my taste. She also offers panties and other intimate items, as well as men's swim suits and shirts so your significant other has things to look at while they wait. In less than an hour, I departed with 2 amazing bras at very reasonable prices. To my surprise and delight a week later a thank you arrived at my house. I have not seen this kind of attention to detail in YEARS. Well done Carla! You just created a life long client.

She tried to tell me that their bras have a life of six months, even though I wore them twice before they stretched out and became unwearable. I was also told that the store should be making this right, not their line. There was apparently no note in my account about this interaction between myself and the brand manager. My mistake here is that I did not contact anyone soon enough to make a complaint, but the REAL mistake is in purchasing the Soma bras in the first place. Shop someplace else.

This was my first time visiting an Aerie store, and it was super organized and pleasant to be in. The only bummer is that the fitting room was closed indefinitely, so I couldn't try on my items before I purchased. Luckily, the items ended up fitting when I got home, but if they didn't, Aerie has what looks like an easy return system. So ladies, be aware of this fact and come knowing your bra size, because you can't try anything on. Aerie often has many sales throughout the year, but even without sales, the quality of the bras and panties and whatnot is worth the price.
