As a parent to a newborn (and that too, the first baby), you can imagine how hard it is to decide whom to place your trust in to take care of your child. But from the moment we met Rupika, we felt comfortable that our child will be in competent and loving caring hands. In addition to providing nutritious and freshly-prepared meals every day, and ample play time as well as rest time, Rupika ensured the children also developed social and emotional skills, got exposed to arts and crafts, as well as the basics of Math and English. She worked wonders with our children in terms of making them follow instructions, interacting with other children, and we can see even now, several years later, how some of the basics she taught have lasted in our children. They continue to prefer Rupika Aunty's food over meals we make as well! She ensures children celebrate milestone days and both American and Indian heritage festivals, creating a healthy mix of multi-cultural development. My son has been going to Rupika's Hide N Seek day care since he was 18 months old. The place is very clean, organized and offer nutritious home-cooked food. Just like any parent, I was tentative on the adjustment period, but Rupika is very engaging and there are lots of fun activities to develop essential skills for the kids' age.
