First time here and definitely not the last. Very quick service. This bowl was so good with açaí, strawberry, cherry, almond milk, granola and blueberries!

Busting you hear me busting it's a little expensive but delicious definitely my new spot oh FYI no parking is the only downfall ‍

I love Rush Bowls! I was able to try it for the first time only recently and I feel like I'm obsessed already. I love their peanut butter and jelly bowl! Their chocolate covered strawberry bowl is also really good. I'm a creature of habit so I usually just order the same thing every time but I'll try something new soon and update my review if it's worth sharing. Parking isn't the best in this area. I hate driving on Hillsborough to be honest. At least there is a small parking lot across the street near the Wings Over, as well as street parking usually. I love that they use fresh ingredients at Rush Bowls and that the staff is super sweet and helpful when I go in, especially with friends who have never had smoothie bowls before. I think I'm gonna go in later today, actually! #1 takeaway from this review: try the peanut butter jelly bowl

I was seriously impressed by this place! The bowl I got was the Power Bowl, and it was so tasty I had to remind myself that it is actually healthy! These bowls (and smoothies) are so good on a hot summer day! Only bad thing is there is literally no parking. Zaxby's has lots of unused parking but it says if you park there you'll be towed. Not sure how true that is but I wasn't about to test it, so I managed to find an open parking spot near ihop and walked, but keep in mind that most of the street parking in that area is permit only.

I don't have much experience with fruit/smoothie bowls. But I enjoyed my experience at Rush bowls. I got the greens guru bowl .. I feel it was the perfect amount of sweetness without feeling overwhelmed. My favorite part of the bowl was the texture the cucumbers and coconut gave. It's nice to have some crunch with all the smoothie. It's a big portion size in my opinion.. I didn't finish it all. My poodle loved her pup bowl! She probably would have ate the paper packaging if she could have. I'd return - but try a different menu item - I wasn't blown away ... but still worth another try.

How I decided to come here for lunch: I woke up and Rush Bowls popped into my head. Yup. With an assortment of signatures, I found the CHOSEN ONE. The Peanut Butter & Jelly bowl (supposedly 478-523 Calories, but I'm hoping for more for how good it was) comes with Banana, Strawberry, Milk Choice, Frozen Yogurt (optional), Peanut Butter. Topped with: Organic Granola, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Honey. Keep in mind that they blend the fruits up with your choice of milk and yogurt, then all the toppings it comes with. They make their peanut butter from scratch, so I couldn't let this opportunity to try it go to waste. The PB was A1. This bowl is so good, you can consider myself eating this... along with another bowl for seconds and maybe this again for dessert.... don't judge. Bottom line: I highly doubt you'll not like anything from this small eatery. The prices are cheaper than Walmart! While you can choose a signature made bowl, you can also customize.

This is a very welcome spot on Hillsborough Street to grab a refreshing smoothie bowl or two (or three)! Rush Bowls has tons of healthy options specializing in bowls and smoothies based on yogurts, acai, fruits and other veggies! The fact that they don't use any added sugar was a big draw for us as this let the natural sweetness of the ingredients take center stage. Although they have some set bowls and smoothies, you can easily mix and match and customize to your preference. This may cater more to the post-workout crowd to grab a protein-enriched meal but fear not, this place is for everyone looking for a good wake-me-up-with-healthy-living kinda meal! Great job so far and really hope to come back more often!

The beach bowl is so delicious, takes me back to eating Açaí bowls in Hawaii! The bowls are quite a good size and this one comes topped with granola, honey, and 1 topping of your choice.

Slightly disappointing! Bowls weren't bad, just lacked a lot of flavor. Would definitely try some other varieties again though, hopefully with better results!

Super bummed I paid almost $10 for this and I got like 1 strawberry. Not to mentioned the acai isn't freshly made it comes in packets.

It's a great place to get a healthy snack or breakfast. The parking is limited. When I went the person opening as 20 minutes late. But other than that I would recommend going. I went on Oct. 21st.

This was my first visit and its safe to say it will not be my last. The smoothie bowls are awesome I got a protein bowl which is amazing after a workout. The young lady that took care of us was amazing even though she was alone she made sure each customer got the attention we deserved. Once I told her it was my first time visiting she made sure she explained what options I had to choose from to customize my bowl. I am very impressed.

The toasted sourdough was a nice touch for sopping up bites. The fried okra was a standout--lightly battered, bright green inside, and not soggy (a minor miracle) The chicken tenders had a peppery cornmeal breading that stayed crunchy and paired well with the dipping sauce. As a foodie from the Bay Area who's been spending more time in the Southeast for work, I've been on…read morea bit of a personal mission to understand and appreciate Southern cuisine. It's been an interesting journey--because while I absolutely respect the tradition, my palate has definitely evolved over the years toward lighter, more elevated, visually beautiful food. That said, sometimes you just have to lean in and experience the classics. Tupelo Honey had been on my list for a while, so during a recent work trip to Raleigh-Durham, I decided to check it off. The location is in a very nice, upscale area--one of those shopping districts where, if you see a Whole Foods nearby, you know the neighborhood is going to be polished, safe, and easy to navigate. Parking was simple in a lot across the street, and since I had a reservation, I was seated quickly on the patio, which was lovely and comfortable. For starters, I ordered the "biscuits for a cause," which is a nice touch knowing the proceeds support employee relief and development funds. They were warm and classic Southern biscuits--exactly what you'd expect. For my entrée, I went with the honey-dusted fried chicken (dark meat), a true Southern staple. It was well prepared, flavorful, and satisfying, especially if you're in the mood for something hearty and traditional. I also tried a cocktail called "The Debutante," which was pleasant and refreshing, and finished the meal with the butter pecan cheesecake for dessert. Overall, the meal was good--solid, reliable Southern comfort food--but if I'm being completely honest, it wasn't particularly memorable for me. I was traveling for work and dining on a per diem, so it checked the box for a dependable dinner in a convenient location. As a larger regional chain, it feels a bit like a rite of passage when you're spending time in the Southeast--something you try once to understand the landscape. Bottom line: Tupelo Honey delivers classic Southern comfort food in a polished, accessible setting. Service was smooth, the patio was pleasant, and everything was executed well. For me personally, it was a good experience--but not one I'd necessarily go out of my way to repeat. Still, as I continue eating my way through the Carolinas and beyond, I'm glad I gave it a try.

The place was crowded but there was no wait. I got seated immediately at a table near a column in the middle of the restaurant and Christy came over and asked if I wanted anything to drink. She brought me iced water and gave me time to look at the menu. I wanted to try so many things and I was too optimistic about ordering 3 things and finishing them myself. Good thing I only ordered 2 things! An order of fried catfish with home fries and one egg. And a biscuit with sausage gravy. The fried catfish was salted and well fried. It tasted delicious for my first bite! The home fries were basically cut potatoes, but they weren't very fried or flavored. I wished I ordered the side of apple sauce instead. The biscuit and sausage was good, but a bit too much for one person after eating a separate order already. Definitely bring more people so you can try more things. Also, I wished I had asked for sausage gravy on the side so I can try the biscuit on its own first as well. Furthermore, I would have more time to eat the catfish so I wasn't worried about the biscuit getting soggy. Christy came to check up on me every now and then. The place was buzzing with people and decorations so I didn't feel so alone. When it was time to pay, Christy brought me the check for me to pay at the cash register. Both Christy and the cashier were so friendly! The restaurant does have a women's and a mens restroom if needed.
