I had a very disappointing experience at West Covina CDJR. I went in genuinely interested in purchasing a truck, but the entire process felt like a game. The offers I was given were nowhere near competitive, and instead of working with me, the sales staff came across as very pushy. It wasn't until I told them I was taking my business elsewhere that their attitude completely changed. As I was leaving the dealership, the general manager was informed that I was walking away. He actually ran out to my vehicle and suddenly offered me the exact type of deal they had refused to consider while I was sitting at the negotiating table. That left me wondering why I had to threaten to leave before they were willing to earn my business. If those offers were available all along, why not present them honestly from the beginning? It made the entire experience feel more like a sales tactic than a genuine attempt to help a customer. I believe dealerships should be transparent and treat customers fairly from the start, not only after they've decided to leave. Honestly the WORST place to come, you better off going to velocity in my opinion. They take their sweeeeet time, i came in for ONE small fitting with number, size, all of that info. and waited an hour just for them to tell me they don't have it. They also act so naive like they've never seen a part in their entire life. I sent my brand new Ford Transit 350HD AWD motorhome for doing a Ford rare axel recall service. The service advisor, Aaron, treated me well and was honest about their services. I bought my 3rd work vehicle from Rush on May 6th. I went in and saw the truck i needed spoke with my sales guy asked him if it was E85 gas and he said yes. That was what I needed a vehicle that was E85 dontonthe high prices of gas at the time. 2 months later van ran like crap, armrest fell off. Clip for visor fell off. Locks to back bins were bad, bumper paint flaked off. I asked salesman( This van does take E85 right? Agian he said yes. Waited for a few months later to drop van off at service center told them I need it back asap. Come to find out that van did not take E85 and now I'm not sure what to do. This may have did long term damage to motor. So even if they fix for now it may be to late. I want an E 85 vehicle to save gas and the environment . Well got van back and the sale manager Andrew is a big piece of shit. Very sarcastic very rude. Thinks I should just get nothing. They had my truck for one month. And of the list of stuff that needed done. They did armrest. Visor and check engine. They didn't address any bins that won't lock. Or bumper paint coming off or back up camera not working. I've never even used this place, I've never even spoken to anyone there, but I'm still giving it 1 star, just because that's the minimum to get a review up. This is really a weird place; you call, multiple times. You leave messages and no one gets back to you. And this was all for me trying to book an appointment to bring my truck in for a repair. My father came here to buy two new trucks for one of our companies. To say that he was treated poorly is an understatement. I am truly upset at the customer service here as you should always treat your customers with respect and at least try to provide great customer service. If I could rate this place no stars I would! My father got there a quarter to closing time which I understand can upset certain people but business is business. Took my truck in with a check engine light... They said they re-calibrated the Nox sensor with their high dollar computer (the same one at my shop) and the light came on right out of the lot. They reset the sensor and charged my company $400 dollars... I would like to add a few things. #1 if you call the number to the Whittier branch your met with ab automated phone system asking you to get free quotes on insurance if you deny itll hang up on you... #2 i called the parts center and i was asked for my Vin on my vehicle and as i was locating the Vin i was hung up on twice even though i said hang on a second. I was then put in touch with the managers Andrew and Hal and it seemed like they were doing me a favor by selling me the truck. Look at the other reviews. Everyone has attitude at all times of day and they make it seem as if it's a nuisance to help you. That's if they even pick up the phone after being transferred endlessly. If you are having your personal truck, or fleet serviced here be careful of Ron in service. He claims he turned wrenches in his youth, but I don't see how. He is truly a crook with a smile. If he calls you my friend, or buddy you should really watch your wallet. That is his welcome before he try's to screw you. I've taken 3-4 trucks there for customer pay, and warranty repairs, but Ron has a problem honoring the manufacturers warranty, so he will try to connive every repair under customer pay while the truck is still under basic warranty. Also, his first comment to you after dropping off your unit will be that your truck needs batteries without test results. How is that possible on 2017-2018 trucks. I think that must be a request from management in order to sell batteries. That was a request from Ron on two of my units. A quick screw. He had my truck for 17 days and when I came to pick up the truck, the check engine light was on so I told him about it and his comment to me was OH, IT JUST WENT THROUGH A REGENERATION CYCLE, AND THAT IS NORMAL. Lying old piece of S--T. I told this man that I worked in a dealership before and I know what goes on, but he did not capture that. They will not answer the phone, was transferred by the receptionist 3 times on 7/19/2018 and no one picked up. Then called again on 7/19/2018, was transferred 3 more times by the receptionist again, again no one picked up. How do you run a parts department without anyone being there?? I would like to personally thank Aaron and Mathew of the Service Department and the technician that worked on our daughter and son-in-law's 2010 Ford 250 Diesel Truck. Both provided excellent Customer Service to me and my son-in-law in identifying a "engine light" that stayed on while driving. At first, we were under the impression that the problem was a bad High Pressure Fuel Pump. I first contacted Mathew to get a cost estimate on a Fuel Pump and the labor cost to install it. He provided me with what the cost would be. Mathew suggested we run a diagnostic test to determine the exact cause of the engine light coming on and we're glad we did. As it turned out the technician did a PCM Computer update and the engine light cleared. So, instead of paying around Two thousand dollars, we paid $244 for the diagnostic test that solved our problem. Because Mathew had the day off, we were working with Aaron the next day. Aaron sent us email updates periodically and kept us in the loop throughout the day. After doing a road test, Aaron suggested a second road test should be performed just to make sure the problem was resolved. It was great news to receive the telephone call from Aaron, the problem was fixed. Thank You to Mathew, Aaron and the technician who performed the work on the Truck! Job Well Done!! read more

I'm surprised to read these bad reviews on here. We have had all our service work done here and are very pleased. We have tried to have our Ford diesel worked on at other Ford dealers only to have the truck sit and wait, these dealers don't have any diesel technicians. We just picked up our truck up from Rush Truck Center, we met the new Service Manager he was really nice and showed us around the shop, they are going through a remodeling/expansion. If you have a diesel truck don't waste your time going to a Ford car store take it to a truck center, we will. read more

Don't buy parts from these guys. They sell you a part that is defective and then they give you the run arounds. Then they say company policy is to return to manufacture for inspection then you will get a refund after 3 weeks. Heck, I just bought the part the night before and haven't even install it on my customers truck. No defective exchange policy here. No wonder I see so many complaints from other shops. They offered to pay the damages and never did. Two months out, the truck gave me more problems and more expenses I had to pay out of my own pocket. Three months out more major expenses came up. Dealer never payed a dime. Vehicles are NOT reliable and are NOT inspected before they are sold. Trucks ALL come defective.
