I had a very disappointing experience at West Covina CDJR. I went in genuinely interested in…read morepurchasing a truck, but the entire process felt like a game. The offers I was given were nowhere near competitive, and instead of working with me, the sales staff came across as very pushy. It wasn't until I told them I was taking my business elsewhere that their attitude completely changed. As I was leaving the dealership, the general manager was informed that I was walking away. He actually ran out to my vehicle and suddenly offered me the exact type of deal they had refused to consider while I was sitting at the negotiating table. That left me wondering why I had to threaten to leave before they were willing to earn my business. If those offers were available all along, why not present them honestly from the beginning? It made the entire experience feel more like a sales tactic than a genuine attempt to help a customer. I believe dealerships should be transparent and treat customers fairly from the start, not only after they've decided to leave. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I chose to take my business elsewhere.

It means a lot to me when a dealership honors a military discount. Doing multiple trips in a combat zone should never go unnoticed, even if the discounts have been maximized. As a new startup company money is definitely tight. Even more, during these hard times. But, Jack was patient with me, gave me good customer service, and maximize the discounts for me.
