He didn't order a follow up, no blood work, no physical, no colon probing mentioned. I could have hugged Dr Allen. I should've, next time. When I went to Optum Care Network's San Diego Sports Medicine's Urgent Care clinic for treatment, I was subjected to multiple iterations of ineffective treatment plans and was verbally harassed when I attempted to get assistance for obtaining a CA DMV Disabled Person Placard. More specifically, the only thing offered by Monica (the Office Manager) was an abundance of vindictive rhetoric couched in audacity, ignorance and false accusations. It was abundantly clear from her delusional behavior that Monica believes that patients exist to serve and support the needs of clinic staff and not the other way around. Instead of hiding patient issues requiring escalations that need to be properly addressed by those in charge of the Medical Group, one should expect that the true SDPMG leadership team would want to properly investigate and make quality improvements to service levels in order to properly resolve such matters. Regrettably, my experience was that the Medical Group leadership allegedly hide in anonymity and enable their incompetent subordinates to make unqualified decisions. This type of behavior may imply that this medical practice is all about making profits at patient's expense and not about patient satisfaction and service level quality.

I met with Vickki, who did an excellent job asking detailed questions and guiding me through various movements to accurately identify the source of my pain. I came in with a shoulder injury and had been experiencing muscle spasms. My doctor had prescribed muscle relaxers and referred me to Spine & Sport for further treatment. Thankfully, their Saturday hours fit perfectly with my work schedule. I was told I'd be in great hands with Matthew Langworthy, and that turned out to be absolutely true. He designed a focused strengthening routine that targeted my problem area. The first few weeks were challenging, as I was still dealing with spasms, but by my final visit, I saw significant improvement. My shoulder felt much better, and Vickki also provided me with effective at-home exercises to maintain progress. i had total knee replacement on my right knee with this doctor…read more he is rude and discriminates patients. i was on workman's comp at that time. i was referred to him by my attorney and he was reluctant to accept me. he was dictating to his medical assistant and when he said my age he said in front of my face "old woman". i was 63 years old. i only had the total knee replacement on my right knee. he told me the left knee will be follow whrn the left knee heals. on my third post op appointment with him i asked about total knee replacement on my left knee. when he can schedule the operation. he said me in a loud angry voice " i cannot help you anymore" and he closed my chart in the computer angrily in front of his new medical assistant. on his way out of the room, he glared at me like telling me " get out of here" i cried when he left the room because i was hurt with his attitude towards me. years past after the total lnee replacement on my right knee and i still cannot forget how this doctor discriminated me and his face still haunts me with the glare in his eyes and in an angry loud voice saying " i cannot help you anymore" closing my chart with anger. i was a patient of him in San Diego.

After no relief from an injection into the joint and a separate injection into the tenden lower of my thumb, I was desparate for some pain relief. I went to Patrick for some shock wave treatements, and after 6 treatments I was pretty much pain free. Shock wave treatment may not work on all pain situations, but it worked for me. Patrick has a good handle on the types of tendon issue where the treament might be effective.
