We have a 60's ranch-style home and the brick fireplace in our living room that went from the ceiling to the floor! Without a family room, the only logical place to mount our 60" LED was over the fireplace. I contacted several different installers and after meeting with Russell I hired him on the spot. Russell came to my home 3 times. The first was to fix a transformer on my exterior cams. I had him back to move the NVR from the attic to a seperate room. Our sound system went bad while he was moving the NVR. He told me he had a Yamaha sound reciever in the back of his truck. He installed it and this is when I started having issues. The NVR went out (or so we thought) after Russell diagnosed it. We ordered a new NVR and Russell started getting hard to contact. Russell told us our NVR was bad and we ordered a new one. We finally had to get others to come out and fix his mess. The wiring was done all wrong. The NVR was fine and it is now fixed and working fine since we got a real pro to find and fix the wiring. . Now the Yamaha he sold us. It has gone bad. May be due to a bad unit. The factory wants to know who he is so they can fix it under warranty. I would run if I heard the Name Russell Jacobs! My guess with all the 5 stars review is they are likely bogus. Who gets all 5 stars over 3-4 years? It has cost me more to first find the mess he made in the poor wiring. Then you pay twice as they have to fix it. Now I am paying with my sound as it is bad. Likely ran wrong. Don't waste a minute calling him He doesn't care. read more

I cannot say enough about this company's honesty and integrity. I called them to give is an estimate on replacing the door camera on our office that had quit working. We also had been unhappy with the poor video quality for a long time. Russell came out, looked over the system and fixed it on the spot by plugging it back in! Doh! And then his colleague (sorry his name escapes me and he was wonderful!) "fixed" the poor quality by putting it back into focus. I had already received a $600 quote to replace it as it was "broken" from another company. We were not charged a dime - but I did tip both of them for coming out and "fixing the system." I was a little hesitant at first just simply because I like to usually work with referrals within the family just to make sure the source is credible. However, this company was amazing!! I scheduled the install at 8 am. I looked out my window and saw the installer pulling up at 7:45 am (love the prompt service). The installer Chris took about 1 1/2 hours to complete transform my room into something amazing. We have a small den that the kids usually watch TV and play games in, but ever since we had the TV mounted, they've completely abandoned that room and insist on watching tv in the Living room because it feels like they are watching a movie...a blessing and a curse!
