Please understand that I don't know much about other similar providers, but I will share my thoughts about the care provided for my two children over the years. When we needed braces for our son, the name we were given was Dr. Kemp. He is the definition of local legend, and he's earned those accolades the hard way: He created a superior practice and provides amazing care for patients and family alike. Dr. Hall is the other heavy hitter in the office. Impressive in all ways, working with skill and compassion. If you're like me, environment plays a huge role in experience. Their office is spotless, smartly decorated, and inviting. More importantly, the office staff provides exceptional customer care. You lnow you're in good hands with this team, which speaks to the quality and thought given to hiring practices. Finally, and most importantly, I can boil down my experiences here to one word: Trust. I whole-heartedly entrust my children's care in this field to Arlington Orthodontics and Dentistry. Whether you call them 4 times to reschedule or walk in they always greet you the same, with kindness and with warmth. Nicole is one of my favorites at the front desk. All the ortho docs are insanely awesome, there simply is no better place. All the staff also is great at what they do. As a 40 some year old getting braces, I will tell everyone I know this is the place to go. On a side note, the ambiance and cleanliness is top notch!

My teeth had moved and I had to seek treatment with the new practice. Timing and service went as well as could be expected during Covid restrictions. However, as I had my final visit I questioned the slight overbite that resulted, which I'd not had before. The response I got from Dr Nakfoor was cocky and condescending, asking if I'd rather have had the gap in my teeth. An honest practitioner would have approached me differently from the start, knowing that an adult could handle an explanation that favored the lesser of the two evils. At least I'd have been prepared for the eventual outcome. Word to the wise, seek a well-recommended small practice to use and not one based on an overinflated ego.

He explained thoroughly our options and what we could do for my daughter's braces. He did scans and we decided to wait for the 2 upper teeth to fall out. But now Dr. Kaplin is saying we need to extract all 4 bottom baby teeth, 2 upper baby teeth and 2 upper adult teeth all at once! Then he can start the braces for my daughter. When we mentioned that that was not what we discussed previously, his tone changed and started becoming rude and snappy and seemed annoyed by us. "I don't think we are on the same page here. I'm hearing a lot about baby teeth but I'm not concerned about that"

When I went for my last appointment. I payed around 400 for permanent retainers. They told me no Need for my upper retainer. My teeth are back to gaps. I don't recommend at all. 5000+ down the drain. She's been seeing therapists for years to help her with anxiety and she's come a long way, but when she still has anxiety / panic attacks. Well that's what happened at this dentistry when she had to get a couple cavities filled. Despite giving her nitrous oxide and trying different methods in calming her down, the poor thing was shaking and in tears. I asked the doctor if there's anything else that she could think of to get my daughter to undergo the procedure. Her suggestion: tying my child's entire body down to the chair. Yea, hard pass lady. This person should not be around kids. She should have her license revoked for even suggesting the idea. We wont be coming back here.

Their billing coordinater JULIE is The rudest and unprofessional person i have ever met…read more I have Aetna DMO insurance and confirmed via email before my appointment that the office accepted it. They replied that they did. Later, I found out they do not accept Aetna DMO and that I would have to pay. I contacted the office with my concern, and they told me they would resolve the issue and contact me within a few business days. I did not hear back for almost six months, so I believed the issue had been resolved. After six months, the billing coordinator called and said I had to pay $92, accusing me of not informing them that I had Aetna DMO. I clearly stated that I informed them I had Aetna DMO both before my appointment and on the day of my visit, and I have the original email as proof. She did not listen, insisted I pay, and threatened to send the bill to collections. She also accused me of not knowing what insurance I have. I was very upset and went to the office in person. She was not welcoming, did not apologize, and did not acknowledge that this was not my fault. She said she started the job in August and was unaware of the issue, and even said, "Do you want to argue all day?". Unbelievable . I did not want to talk to her anymore and then they said DR. Dr. Tom Meyer has been my dentist for many many years and his father before that. This is the…read moredental practice where you can go in, get your teeth cleaned or a cavity filled and actually fall asleep in the dental chair. I know because I've done it. They are that gentle. Dr. Tom seems to have the latest dental technology that can really help catch cavities early. He has a new x-ray machine that makes x-rays a lot more comfortable than those old bite wings. Another technology he has used that really benefited me was the ability to avoid using a crown in certain situations. A few years ago, I had a cavity in a tooth right next to where I previously had a silver filling from long ago. He really needed to drill a lot to get the filling out and to repair that new cavity. This is the type of thing that normally he would need to use a crown. However Dr. Tom explained to me that he had a machine where he could essentially make a 3d puzzle piece for the hole and put it in if I had a little extra time. We could do it in one visit instead of two and it was actually less expensive than a traditional crown. I agreed and have had no issues with his solution. I went in yesterday for a cavity repair and received exactly the same treatment as in the past. I didn't even feel the needle with the numbing medicine. They use a topical to make you comfortable. The staff also make sure to tell you what to expect before they do it. Everyone is friendly and genuinely interested in you and your dental health. They are located near Wolf Circle and very close to a bus and train station. There is ample street and lot parking near the office.
