Greetings: For this…read moreoutlier review, I'm going to reflect on an amazing community asset: Arlington Heights Orthodontics and Dentistry. Please understand that I don't know much about other similar providers, but I will share my thoughts about the care provided for my two children over the years. When we needed braces for our son, the name we were given was Dr. Kemp. He is the definition of local legend, and he's earned those accolades the hard way: He created a superior practice and provides amazing care for patients and family alike. Dr. Hall is the other heavy hitter in the office. Impressive in all ways, working with skill and compassion. If you're like me, environment plays a huge role in experience. Their office is spotless, smartly decorated, and inviting. More importantly, the office staff provides exceptional customer care. You lnow you're in good hands with this team, which speaks to the quality and thought given to hiring practices. Finally, and most importantly, I can boil down my experiences here to one word: Trust. I whole-heartedly entrust my children's care in this field to Arlington Orthodontics and Dentistry. That should speak volumes to you if you're flying blind in trying to make a choice about selecting a practice. No pictures today out of respect for patient privacy. Whether you call them 4 times to reschedule or walk in they always greet you the same, with kindness and with warmth. Nicole is one of my favorites at the front desk. All the ortho docs are insanely awesome, there simply is no better place. All the staff also is great at what they do. As a 40 some year old getting braces, I will tell everyone I know this is the place to go. On a side note, the ambiance and cleanliness is top notch!

The decor and cleanness of the office is super. Let's talk about Dr Ursitti! She listens, and cares. Her eyes and ears are open to inputs from parents and even her special needs clients. Our first encounter was very interesting. The Dr took all the time to listen to me, and quickly changed to use people first language. I was impressed. My son has gotten use to the team and the cleaning. Just a few weeks ago my son needed to remove some crowns under anestesia. They worked with us and found a great anesthesiologist, with the best side manner. Amanda helped us finding ways and an organization to help pay for the procedure. They went above and beyond. He know is pain free and asking to be taken to the dentist! A child who was so afraid said "awww she is so sweet", referring to Dr Ursitti. Give your self a favor, take your child to this office and stop suffering the anxiety and heartache of other places where your child is not treated with respect. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO IF YOU HAVE A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD, SPECIALLY A STRONG CHALLENGING ONE LIKE MY SON

As I sat with it I grew concerned because the treatment plan included sedation. Expensive and risky. I asked for the X-rays which they sent, but I also requested the plan be written up with a rationale and any other possible options. I'm not a medical professional and do not understand everything thrown at me in the office. There was a follow up phone call where the staff proceeded to tell me verbally the plan. I explained it was intensive and costly and I don't understand so I would like it written up and may seek a second option to make sure this was the right path. I was told they welcomed a second option but that my $1000 deposit was non refundable. I found this really disconcerting. I understand the need of a deposit but when there is genuine concern and you have to make decisions on the spot, I also think making it no refundable with prior notice is poor customer service which I expressed to them. They then sent me an email telling me "our professional bond had been broken". Very concerning for a parent looking to be more informed in making medical decisions for their child. First I felt pressured to agree, then I felt vilified for asking questions.

It looked really promising by the photos but when I called to let them know I was interested in becoming a new client for my two children, the lady was RUDE. First off, could she not be a bit more enthusiastic? Yes it's the morning but you're the voice of the company, if you sound like you're not having a good day what makes you think I want to hear it in your voice? Fake it till you make it. Well she goes on to tell me about the practice, stating they're open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Makes sense why nobody picked up on Thursday when I originally called, they weren't open (yet their website says differently). So I kindly told her, the website information was not updated because it states Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. She cuts me off and tells me that hours changed.... okay? I was just letting her know so she could tell whoever is in charge of the website to update it so that new patients like myself could get the true facts (what is a website for anyways?). Because of her rude service, I told her I was uninterested in bringing my children to the dental practice and ended my phone call short. So sad that there are people out there that can't even pretend to enjoy their job and have to be so rude to potential customers. Will not be recommending this place to anyone and really hope nobody deals with the rude receptionist that I did.

So God knows when I can reschedule them, what an unprofessional, tactless, and poor way of communicating with a patient. Do not waste your time here.
