Noshaba, the daycare provider, gave my husband and I a tour of her daycare and answered all our questions during the tour and by text afterwards. As new parents in a pandemic, we were very worried about the possibility of our child getting the virus. However, Noshaba is very cautious in regards to COVID. She takes the proper actions and precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy. Her daycare has tons of toys and lots of space for the kids to enjoy. My daughter gets so excited to go in the morning and she can't stop smiling from ear to ear when she sees Noshaba! I can't say enough good things about Noshaba. Sure, I may be able to get a little cheaper if I have my kids go to a home daycare, but the care that they get here is why I love it. They have cameras in the class so I can always check in on my little ones whenever I want and they give multiple updates a day via the daycare's app so I never feel like I'm missing much. The teachers treat my kids like their own and I truly feel like they love them. If I voice any discomfort or worry, they work with me immediately. You can tell the Director truly has a passion for this job and the kids, and she schedules fun times each season and most holidays to really make you feel like this is more than just a daycare. I watched the live stream in his classroom (toddler) ~2hrs a day and had seen 2 times a teacher caught my son's arms and forced him to sit still no matter how hard he was fighting. After got home on these 2 days, the scratches on his arms were obvious... He was only 1.5 years old and not able to tell us what's happened. We had reported to school the next day and the teacher didn't tell the truth until we told we were watching. We had reported to their district manager and child service in government. But the teacher who hurt him was still working there before we changed school. Actually not only my son, his little friends had suffered similar experiences that I saw. That teacher disciplined kids almost everyday! I doubt her profession, because kids were reading books alone just before discipline. My son was very quite at this school and he became verbal 1 month after he got into a new place. We're so grateful to our decision!

I gave Celebree Columbia North a glowing review 5 months ago on google . That was before I realized the polished "tour" and promises were nothing but smoke and mirrors. Once you're in, you see the truth: this place is neglectful, unsafe, and run into the ground by poor ownership and new management. On multiple occasions, I picked up my child dirty, hungry, and thirsty. Bottles I packed came back completely full, leaving him dehydrated. His cheeks were flushed, lips dry, and he was clearly uncomfortable. If he didn't want to eat right away, the teacher just gave up and sent him home hungry. On top of that, he was put in the wrong diaper several times, which led to painful rashes (see pictures below). I've picked him up smelling like urine, proving he was left unchanged for far too long. Even though they claim they change the kids every 2 hours. The environment itself is no better. I saw bugs on the floors multiple times. The front door, supposed to be secure with a lock pad, was often broken, meaning anyone could walk in. Safety is supposedly their priority, but clearly it's not. The child reports were often unclear or incomplete, and when I asked teachers for details about his day, they couldn't even tell me what he ate, drank, or did. That's not communicationthat's incompetence. Teachers are constantly on their phones or sticking kids in front of iPads instead of teaching. I've caught teachers sleeping while children napped. The most disturbing was seeing a teacher yank a child up and verbally assault them. I refused to let my son into that classroom until that teacher was removed, but ownership took their sweet time to act. That is beyond unacceptable! And staffing? A disaster. Teachers walk out in the middle of the day all the time, leaving classrooms out of ratio and unsafe. I had to beg a teacher not to quit mid-shift so the children wouldn't be abandoned. You can see the exhaustion and burnout written on the staff's faces due to new management. It's sad and unfair for the kids who rely on routine and stability, and the owners simply ignore it. When I raised concerns, they brushed me off. Parents' voices mean nothing here! Celebree Columbia North charges top-dollar tuition $570 a week but delivers neglect, chaos, and unsafe conditions. Dirty classrooms(kids are always sick with COVID RSV or God knows what else), hungry and thirsty children(cause they have a give up method schedule) , bugs on the ground(be careful they might come home in your child's belongings), broken security doors, lazy staff or burnt out staff , and useless management / ownership that won't listen to concerns. I pulled my child out as FAST as I could, and I will never recommend this place to anyone! The only bright spots in this broken system were Ms. Zuri, Ms. Anna, Ms. Maya, and Ms. Patricia--teachers who genuinely cared for the children and gave their all in an environment stacked against them. And Ms. Lisa, in her management role, showed more effort and compassion than anyone else in leadership. Unfortunately, even their dedication couldn't make up for the chaos, indifference, and neglect created by ownership and poor management.

They have an app called Tadpole, but yet the information entered is never correct. They are short-staffed every day and yet most teachers still leave at 4, so unless you can get out of work early to connect and discuss... you simply have no idea what is going on. Kids are constantly placed in rockers and chairs and are left there most of the day. The legal ratio of 3 kids to 1 teacher is rarely followed, in fact, I have seen as many as 10 kids to 2 teachers more times than I can count... We gave them sleep sacks for him to nap in each day, yet they just sat in his cubby. On more than one occasion he was left to sleep in a rocker as he was placed in a room that had no open cribs due to staff shortages... it's just not a good place to leave an infant. We started in January 2024 and there is not a single kid left in the class who was there when we started. To a child, they have all left and gone to other daycares... and now we are too. I wouldn't send my kid here if I were you. We are now 54 days past our last day and have still yet to receive our deposit back from the school. They claim its been mailed, but their by-laws state repayment will be made within 30-45 days and we are well past that... its a joke. Just find a different day care, this place is awful from the top to the bottom.

None of this would have been an issue if the rep didn't respond in a suspicious tone when I provided my name. Instead of saying, "hey, I see you may have inquired about our center in the past, have you had a name change or gotten married?' It was more of a tone that conveyed suspicion. Just a weird interaction altogether. When I brought it to the attention of the rep she began to raise her voice and ask for even MORE personally identifying information. Lady I just want to know if you have any openings to start! May be a nice center maybe not, I would never know thanks to this initial interaction.

Be that as it may, I still think it's reasonable as a prospective patron to expect follow-through and timely responsiveness (meaning no more than two business days).
