Their planning and execution was phenomenal. I would absolutely recommend Doug and his team for any size job, small medium or large. We will have them do all future landscaping for us and will have them do seasonal refreshes. During the scoping phase Doug respectively offered suggestions based on his vast experience (all which we took by the way). The questions Doug asked and suggestions he made immediately demonstrated the depth and breadth of his knowledge and impressed/convinced me from the outset they were the best choice. We had a leaky sprinkler head and some heads that were hiding behind bushes. When we bought the house the irrigation system was there but we had no idea how it worked or how to repair it. I recently used them for a project. The end result ended up pretty good, but I feel like there were…read moretoo many speed bumps and a lack of communication along the way. The workers were great, and worked hard. The manager, Sean, was very nice and knowledgable, but definitely seemed spread way too thin, which led to portions of the project being miscommunicated or missed, and having to spend extra time to get them redone. Our project consisted of replacing a couple areas of grass with artificial turf, another area with Zoysia sod, replacing some walkways, adding some landscaping, and trimming some trees. All of that was eventually done, but the turf ultimately had to be torn up, reflattened, and nailed propertly as it was ripply/bubbly at first and coming up at the sides. Some areas we had requested turf were missed at first due to confusion, lack of communication. I think they just need some better oversight by having more management resources or fewer projects so that the proper amount of time can be spent. Like I said, ultimately it ended up pretty good and the price was decent as well.

The crew has caused SIGNIFICANT damage to my brand new privacy fence on multiple sides, they have also damaged my mailbox, cut my water hose in half, and broken my plastic gutter run offs. When bringing this to the service providers attention they sounded very upset and sounded like they wanted to help me. Then I received a call from Jason Cory, the company owner. This was the most unprofessional and unreasonable company owner/representative I have ever come into contact with. When I sent him videos showing the damage caused by his crew he told me that the damage to my fence was not that big of a deal. I gave him a comparison of buying a new car, and paying someone to clean it, only to find-out that person left a huge dent in your car and Jason Cory said that this is different... Lets clarify, I paid for a service on my yard, your team damaged my property in places where there isnt even grass growing. I let him know its completely unacceptable for the damage to be done to my property whenIm paying for a service. Jason Cory told me that because of their equipment there is nothing they can do to avoid doing damage to my property unless I pay him for putting in a buffer to prevent this issue from happening again... THIS IS AFTER THE DAMAGE IS DONE. I told him that it was unacceptable and he should expect legal action if my property was not repaired as it was before. HE THEN SAID "GOOD DO IT" AND CALLED ME CRAZY. Im paying for a service and expect it to be done without damage to my property, apparently Dogwood Landscaping, nor Jason Cory thinks thats acceptable. Jason Cory even went as far to tell me that I do not know what Im talking about, and I could not last an hour on one of his trucks and that I should not care about the quality, since my mother pays for the lawn service which is an annual Christmas present from her. Long story short, they have caused extensive damage to my property around my house, refuse to take blame or replace it, and when I address it I am called crazy by the company owner Jason Cory.

We were able to relocate/preserve a variety of bushes to clear out the space, addressed drainage challenges and created a beautiful new outdoor space, including a 21x25 main area with a 13' circular area attached to one corner for a freestanding fire pit. We combined this project with an unrelated sink hole issue and were able to utilize excavated dirt as partial fill for the hole. They strived to economize where possible, despite some minor unexpected challenges; in the end the +'s and -'s to the estimate were fair and reasonable. After 3 weeks we remain thrilled.

MARIETTA???…read more Check the reviews - several customers from MARIETTA have left positive reviews, so what's different about the Marietta I live in? How off-putting. Furthermore, if one checks the service area as defined by this company, one can easily see that Marietta is smack dab in the middle of his service area (see map of his service area with my location circled in red). Mister, if you don't want my business, suits me - there are many more irrigation repair companies to choose from. But don't insult me with a phony reason why. Based on this experience I cannot recommend this company.
