Tried to call to get new tires and when I called a woman answered who just said "hello" I asked if this was community tire center, she said yes how can I help you? I said I need to buy a set of tires and need to check to see if they are in stock, she hung up the phone. read more

In Fernley overnight with a clean puncture to my pickup tire. Got to the shop just before opening, second in line. At opening time, owner and two employees got to work on all three of us. I was done first, about 25 minutes and out the door with the repaired tire back on and the spare back under the bed. Very courteous, efficient, and good price. Noticed mostly of out-of-state plates and happy customers. Just south off the freeway on Main Street between exits 96 & 98. If you have more than a tire to fix, there's some decent food to be had within a couple blocks. read more

This place is not the place to go if you are in a hurry or need quality work, the part owner has poor customer service and is rude. To mount tires on rims off car was like a pulling teeth for this guy, and his business is tires, go figure. Find another shop this place is not reputable and under staffed. read more

Awesome service!!! Wanted to shop local to help support the community. And I'm so glad I did. I bought my tires from them 1 1/2 years ago and they are in really good condition still. And I drive A LOT. I got a flat on my left rear tire and they took care of it, rotated, and balanced ALL of my tires free of charge because I bought all four tires there. These guys are shady. I was told $30 to have a tire put on a rim. I agreed and left the tire and rim. I came back to pick up the wheel and the price change to $35. I was told I had to take the old tire with me or it would be a five dollar charge. I asked if that was the price difference from what I was originally told? The answer was no, it would be another $5. I gave them two stars, because work was fine. But, I'm a simple man. I take people at their word. I don't like slippery people. I hope $5 is worth losing a customer. I won't do business with them again. read more

First and foremost, we're all about supporting our fellow small business owners however this situation we experienced at Community Tire is disgusting, revolting and others need to be warned about how they do business. Let us explain. We dropped off a trailer tire on Friday early afternoon and made a appointment with the owner to come pick up our new tire at 5pm. We arrived after a job at 4:45pm only to find that the shop was closed. After attempting to call them approx. 35 times at all times of the day on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, no one ever answered and the voicemail was full not to mention they had our information and they didn't call is either. Obviously we were frustrated as the owner knew how important we needed this trailer tire on Friday for another job and he told us he wasn't busy and would have it done shortly on Friday and coming to pick it up at 5 was fine because THEY CLOSE AT 5. Just now, we went to Community Tire and tried to calmly find out what happened and if they had our tire and the response was unprofessional, rude and many other negative words that we wish not to say. He laughed in our faces along with saying negative words in Spanish about us (I know Spanish) and dismounted the new tire from our rim and smiled and said "here you go." We were polite and professional the entire time and this is how we're treated by a fellow small business owner?!?! Wow all we can say is beware of the antics, lies and scams of this so called "business". We're not about bad mouthing other businesses(So please don't bother going there) however this is such a extreme case of a business being unprofessional that we refuse to not share and warn others so that they can not only avoid a headache and their lies but also being talked bad about in Spanish, laughed at then handed back your tire that they purposely dismounted for no reason and without any sort of apology. We wanted to give them a second chance and give them our business as well as our referrals. read more

I was traveling on I 80 to Reno for an appointment. My tire was leaking air. Did not have much time to fool around at another tire shop in Fernley so these folks at community tire center got me right in immediately and fixed my tire and 20 minutes and had me to my appointment on time . read more
