Visalia needs more shops like this. A local business that has artisan cheeses and great wine at reasonable prices.

The upstairs has an open seating concept, with only a few tables reserved ahead of time. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and casual, with low lighting, large comfortable chairs, and an intimate feel that's perfect for a date night or relaxed dinner. Keep in mind that the prices are higher than downstairs, but so is the menu. We started with a White Linen cocktail, which was incredibly refreshing on a hot summer afternoon and the perfect way to kick off our visit. We originally planned to order the Burrata Caprese with Fresh Basil, but they were sold out--which must mean it's a popular choice! Instead, we opted for the Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts, and they were absolutely delicious. The dish featured thinly sliced Serrano chilis that added just the right amount of heat. The crunch from the walnuts paired perfectly with the feta cheese and balsamic reduction. Best of all, the Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly--crispy and tender without being soggy in the slightest. We loved this unique take on Brussels sprouts and can't wait to return to try more of the menu. Mia was our server and was both friendly and helpful, making our experience even better.

I thought hard in deciding whether to give Faria's Ranch Market one or two stars and I settled on…read moreone star simply because this is the kind of fruit stand I want to avoid. I went in there and the location of where the fruit was grown was not listed for any of the fruit. So you don't know what's local or what may have been picked in Mexico and shipped over the border, for instance. I took a picture of a sticker on an apple that said it's from Superfreshgrowers.com. If you have access to the web you could tell that's from Washington state. But there's nothing in the store to help you. Newcastle Produce off I-80 solves this by labeling the origins of all its fruit. The fruit has a problem because it has to buy fruit it can sell and not everything is available locally. But we know nothing of the origins of what is available there. Another gripe is that they advertise themselves as being a cheese warehouse outlet. Their cheese selection si small and the price is about what you'd pay in a supermarket. I bought one chunk of cheese and it was pretty routine cheese, like you'd find in a supermarket. Much of the rest of the stuff are things like all natural honey and expensive popcorn. So I write this review so others are forewarned.

Ordered my food about 25 minutes before my break. Walked over. As I stood there the woman (I believe Missy) looked at me and looked away. I stood there as she made a sandwich in one of the slowest motions I've ever witnessed. Then a man from DoorDash came in. She told him,I'm sorry for the wait I've been sooo busy. I still gave her grace and waited. She eventually hands him his bag of items. I said hey,I ordered my food about 40 minutes ago online. She told me I Don't have an order for you. I showed her my email. She then said I don't know what to tell you. I was running out of time to even eat at this point. I told her my name again and that I would call regarding getting my money back. I got the most terrible sandwich for $20 Nextdoor and basically didn't even eat. So I called and she proceeded to say she was soo busy. I politely told her,you absolutely were not. I watched you for 20 minutes! And you ignored me multiple times after looking at me. You dismissed me. She claimed she had 3 online orders before I got there. She stated she found my order. I reminded her that I placed my order 25 minutes before I even got there. She then apologized again, while defending the fact she was "so busy" I stated that "being so busy" has nothing to do with customer service. I asked for management. She said they would be back on Monday. What a let down. What a shame that people With no customer service have to work in it just to have a job. I have sympathy and understanding to a certain level. But now I'm out the $20 I spent on a terrible sandwich from the neighboring store plus my expectations and business from what I was expecting to be an amazing sandwich. (I know this was long, sorry) lol. All and all, awful from start to finish. Don't go here expecting anything beyond what an employee is forced to do. PS,still waiting for my refund.
