My husband and I wanted to try the upstairs dining area, The Hayloft, at Bravo Farms. We already know Bravo Farms for its fresh food, so we were excited to experience the more elevated menu and enjoy drinks at the bar. The upstairs has an open seating concept, with only a few tables reserved ahead of time. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and casual, with low lighting, large comfortable chairs, and an intimate feel that's perfect for a date night or relaxed dinner. Keep in mind that the prices are higher than downstairs, but so is the menu. We started with a White Linen cocktail, which was incredibly refreshing on a hot summer afternoon and the perfect way to kick off our visit. We originally planned to order the Burrata Caprese with Fresh Basil, but they were sold out--which must mean it's a popular choice! Instead, we opted for the Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts, and they were absolutely delicious. The dish featured thinly sliced Serrano chilis that added just the right amount of heat. The crunch from the walnuts paired perfectly with the feta cheese and balsamic reduction. Best of all, the Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly--crispy and tender without being soggy in the slightest. This is one of my favorite places to enjoy a nice cocktail. The Hayloft at Bravo Farms is located up stairs and it's a finer dining experience from the more casual restaurant down stairs. I took some stars off due to poor service, this time around, food preparation and restaurant hours of operation. The restaurant closes promptly at 9:00 pm, so typical of Visalia dining. We got there at 8:00 pm and it took a good 15-20 mins for waitstaff to take our order. We ordered two appetizers and cocktails and the food came before our cocktails. So, unbeknownst to us, we literally had about 25-30 minutes to eat and drink...ridiculous and unacceptable to not be informed of our short dining time. The restaurant lights came on promptly at 9ish, pretty much informing dining customers that it was time to wrap it up. But prior to that, while still clearly eating and drinking, waitstaff kept coming by trying to pickup our appetizer plates (they still had plenty of food left & our drinks were still full)..like I said rushing us out. It was definitely a poor experience. The appetizer of fried calamari was a miss, not crispy and clumps of calamari stuck together. The sweet potato fries were limp and not hot. There was a significant wait time for our meal. When it arrived, it was cold. The server asked to touch our food to see if it was cold. Our meal was replaced and this time it was much better. We ordered dessert with vanilla ice cream and the dessert came with chocolate ice cream. The server did compensate us for these issues and she was a good server. read more

I've eaten a lot of tri- chip sandwiches over repaired two years that was a by far the worst I ever had. Sandwiches fell apart right from the beginning. Thrown together fine apart and tasteless very disappointed. My wife had a barbecue chicken sandwich. She liked the sandwich but the only thing barbecue about it who is barbecue sauce. The chicken wasn't barbecued very expensive over 50 bucks. Everything's à la carte. Please save your money go to the one in Tulare they have real barbecue there and prices are much cheaper tri-tip there is excellent. If you live in Visalia, it's worth driving in Tulare. read more

Really cool spot with a great ambiance. You can order downstairs at the walk-up counter or head upstairs for a more traditional restaurant experience with wait staff. The bar looked impressive and fully stocked, with several bartenders working. We were there on a bustling Saturday night, and while our waitress was clearly a bit overwhelmed at times, she was very sweet and doing her best, which we appreciated. The food was fantastic and the portions were hearty. We ordered the spring salad, pork belly appetizer, and salmon, and everything was excellent. We would absolutely order all of it again. Santa Fe wrap was delicious 10 out of 10 now. The taco salad was good but I was expecting a taco salad from back in the 90s with those beans with juice sour cream. If you know what I'm talking about you know what I'm talking about. It was good but he needed something else like some kind of sauce I asked for pico de gallo and then I went and grabbed the ranch and it didn't do the job. But it was still a good meal 8/10 no I would've gave them five stars but the customer service was not great. It wasn't bad but it didn't give me the service that I was expected for me to go back and try it again so that's just my opinion. I think service needs to be a lot better. It's a really nice place. Dined in for dinner on a Saturday night, not too busy, ate downstairs where you order ahead, find a seat, & walk up to pick up your food when it's ready. the cashiers were very informative & helpful. All the food that was ordered were large portions, even the sides! Definitely great to share especially if you want to try more than a few dishes on their menu. Sandwiches & wraps do not come with sides, but I'd say price is still fair. Also, there are also staff walking around pre-bussing your table & offering any assistance. I been to their other location and the food was good, so I thought I stopped by for dinner here for something healthy. This spot is located in downtown Visalia. My mom and I decided to go here for dinner, about half an hour before closing. Luckily, they still let us in. The worker explained that we order at the front and then we just sit anywhere we liked and once our order is ready, we can grab it at the counter. We got the Tri-Tip Fajita Salad, Asian Chicken Salad, and Potato Cheddar Soup. The salad was huge! Luckily, we decided to share one salad & soup. We also had enough to togo the salad home. We ate the Tri-Tip Fajita Salad there and didn't really like how the dressing was watered down. It literally tasted like we were eating salad without any dressing. When we ate the Asian Chicken Salad the next day, it was way better! We liked how they packaged the salad and the chicken separately. The dressing was also super tasty! I've never been disappointed in Bravo Farm but I had to stop and type up this review. This is based on my order of the Pesto Chicken Pizza. This pizza is a fail in so many ways. For starters there is balsamic in the pizza and maybe the person making the pizza was heavy handed but when you order Pesto you really don't need anything else on top of that because pesto already is very potent. It made the pizza sweet. Pesto is not sweet from my experience. I will not order this or recommend it. I almost want to take it back. I did order the Potato Cheddar soup which is good but now I cannot get this pizza off my taste bud. read more

We ate here last night as a party of 2, but we decided to try the upstairs table service area, the Hayloft. This area featured a darker, moodier vibe and an upscale menu. This is also where the bar is located. To drink, my husband had the Cali squeeze on tap, and I had a mango margarita and the Rummin on Passion signature cocktail. The Rummin on Passion was very sweet and has an artificial, syrupy taste to it. I was concerned that the margarita would be similar, but it was actually really good! It was sweet but well balanced so you could taste the sour lime and the alcohol as well. This was definitely the best cocktail I've had here. To eat, we decided to share the Chicken and Wild Mushroom risotto and the Maple-Glazed Brussels Sprouts. The Brussels Sprouts were delicious, so crispy and flavorful, but there weren't as many actual Brussels sprouts on the plate as it initially seemed because of how many toppings covered them. The risotto was delicious! It was so tasty and the chicken was cooked perfectly. My one complaint is that there was actually too much chicken compared to a relatively small serving of the actual risotto. I actually would have enjoyed less protein to get more bites of the yummy risotto. We finished our meal with the tiramisu bread pudding. This dessert was yummy, but I'm unsure if it qualified as tiramisu or bread pudding. It was more of a loaf cake, that had a slightly mushy, bread pudding texture on the inside, but it was overcooked so it was dry and crispy on the outside and a bit dense. It was supposed to have a vanilla-espresso flavor, but I didn't get much of that from the cake. It was, however, served with a delicious coffee chip ice cream, but the strong flavor of the ice cream kind of overpowered any espresso flavor the cake may have had. The dessert was good, but a bit confusing as to what it was trying to be. Overall a good meal for a more upscale, yet still casual, dining experience. read more

So enjoyable in fact we returned a second time! The downstairs has a fabulous little market. Honeys, nuts, gourmet marshmallows. That kind of faire. If I lived here, this would be my go to for a gift. I love FOOD gifts!! Nothing better. They're left with no tchotchkes. Perfect! Back to our time here. We sat upstairs in the moody, dimly lit bar. The high design aesthetic still embodied the nature of the area and tastefully installed bouquets of straw in wall cubbies. Nailed it! The blackberry margaritas (or cocktail) were amazing. I decided to meet up with a good friend of mine for dinner and she suggested Bravo farms. This is a really nice restaurant in the downtown Visalia area. It has two levels the first level has a menu that you can choose from with a open restaurant concept. We chose to eat upstairs at the bar and enjoy the ambience upstairs. I thoroughly enjoyed my guava margarita. I also ordered as an appetizer the mushroom flatbread. I really enjoyed all of the unique flavors and different cheeses that came together very nicely. My friend and I shared the calamari that had a very good sauce layered at the bottom of the plate. For my appetizer I was able to order the taco salad with chicken which was delicious! I will say that the salad was so large that in the future I would get one and split it. As a Central Valley native who has spent the past 20 years living abroad, I was eager to return home and explore the local foodie scene. Many people recommended Bravo Farms, and I was genuinely excited to try out their Visalia location. Here's my experience: Facility: First and foremost, the facility is stunning. The design is beautifully done. Upscale and farm-centric, creating an ambiance that feels just right for the Central Valley. It's a lovely place. Service: The service we received was good! Our servers were polite and attentive and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Food: Now, let's talk about the food. Unfortunately, despite the attractive setting and good service, the food was a significant letdown. I don't mind paying $19 for a sandwich without sides if it's truly worth it, but what we received fell short of expectations. Experience: Upon arrival, we were given the option of downstairs deli-lunch or upstairs seated dining, so we opted for the dining menu. I was initially excited to explore the offerings but was a bit disappointed to see a lack of innovation in the menu. Nevertheless, I figured that simple meals can still be spectacular, so I held on to hope. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich. When it came to me, the server hesitated, looking at the mess on the plate with embarrassment. She promptly took it back to have it remade. Meanwhile, my family began their meals. - My husband ordered the tri-tip sandwich, but it was a disappointment, arriving with super hard bread and tough meat. - My son had the pulled pork, which was just okay, served on the same hard roll with mushy meat and uninspired coleslaw. - My daughter chose the grilled cheese, which was honestly the best dish at the table despite its oddity; it was the first time I've experienced a restaurant-style grilled cheese made with mozzarella. Thank goodness for the side of fries we ordered; they were delicious and the only part of the meal we all truly enjoyed! After about 15 minutes, my food returned, and while it looked slightly better, it was still terrible. It felt like my sandwich sat in the back too long; they slapped a new piece of bread on it and piled it high with arugula. The chicken was disappointingly small compared to the oversized bread, which was clearly old and stale, crumbling as soon as I touched it. The chicken was cold, and the sandwich consisted mostly of raw arugula. To add insult to injury, there was just a tiny smear of pesto aioli and a couple of tomato slices. After two-thirds of a bite from the first half, I decided against finishing it. I was genuinely shocked by how much hype surrounds this place compared to the reality of my experience. It felt like there was no love or care put into the food, and it truly showed. In total, we ended up spending over $100 for four sandwiches, four soft drinks, and a single side of fries. I would gladly support a local business with this kind of investment if it meant enjoying a delicious meal, but sadly, this wasn't the case. While I appreciated the beautiful atmosphere and good service, I sincerely hope Bravo Farms can take a closer look at their food quality to match the charm of their establishment. 1 star for the design. 1 star for the service. 0 for the food read more

Sadly food was terrible yesterday 5/20/25. Went out to dinner to celebrate a family special occasion and chose dining upstairs. I came down sick with stomach pain & was green (felt like food poisoning) for the rest of the night & this morning from my meal. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, it came drenched in a green sauce and was very fishy. And the Chicken & shrimp Carbonara-the shrimp was over cooked (tough texture to eat) and smothered in sauce. The service was not great, our waitress was MIA and was hardly around-even when there were less tables to wait on. Unfortunate, as we paid $118 for a good meal, good service & the ambience. 5/21/25 I came down with a violent bout of food poisoning & still sick.
