I had already had food by the time I found this food truck, but really wanted to try their sides. I ordered the rustic russets and nomad street corn. The rustic russets are potato bites that are super crispy and seasoned. And the nomad street corn is elote (Mexican style) corn off of the cob. I can't tell you how much I loved these sides. Simply fantastic. The burger was so delicious. The tomatoes and lettuce were fresh. And the taste was well balanced. You can clearly tell they put love into this food. The potato was awesome and the elote was very good. The only pointers I would give is on the elote. I felt it was too heavy on the cilantro as it over powered the other flavors such as the mayo. I do wish there was cotija. I am from San Antonio and we love cotija on our elote. So that point is more of a personal preference. However it was still extremely delicious. But I would for sure recommend this place as my number 1 burger place in Denver read more

We had Rustic Nomads when we got beers at Station 26 brewing. Honestly the food was a five star, unfortunately I have to ding them a little for service. Station 26 was hosting a trivia night and it was absolutely slammed. Instead of waiting in line, we decided to place the order online and said it'd be about 15 minutes. We placed the order around 7 and got our food around 8:30? Apparently the online order had been booked for the next day so our ticket was pushed to the back. By the time we went out to check, the wanderlust sandwich was out of stock so we switched and got 2 continental divides. The side of fries was also out of stock so we switched to the street corn. By the time we got our food, the burger and corn was delicious. The people in the truck were super nice and accommodating and apologetic for the wait, but I likely wouldn't wait 1.5 hours in the future for a food truck. read more

We had enjoyed Rustic Nomads the first three or four times we tried it, so we decided to head to the new Lone Tree Brewing location in Parker on a Wednesday and see what changes have happened since the owner of Barnett and Son Brewing retired and sold his operation to Lone Tree. I ordered the Continental Divide burger with with Secret Sauce, Caramelized Onions, Lettuce and Banana Peppers. My wife got the Cajun Cordon Bleu chicken sandwich with ham, Swiss, creole mustard and aioli, and we split an order of the Rustic Russet fries. We got a burger patty with cheddar for our doggo - it's very nice to see a special $3 deal for our four legged companion... Everything was excellent. My burger had a lot of different flavors and textures going on, and my wife said her sandwich was fantastic - it's very rare for her to eat chicken she didn't cook herself. The russet fries were great - nice and crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside, just the way my wife likes 'em. The pooch loved her burger too. The service was fast and friendly - the very pleasant owner chatted and joked with the customers and his staff as they ordered and picked up their dinner. Everyone on the patio seemed to thoroughly enjoy their meal as well - people chowed down their meals like they hadn't eaten in three days. I will happily return to this excellent restaurant on wheels the next time they're at one of our local favorite watering holes. read more

Last night I was craving a burger and happy to see that Rustic Nomads was at Station26 last night. I had them before and never disappointed. I tried the Lone Ranger and it was a top 5 burger in my book. The combination of the pastrami, burger meat, caramelized onions and pesto was such an amazing combo the flavor just popped right on out. Rustic Nomads to the rescue after a morning of hiking! We stopped by Living The Dream brewery afterwards and I raised the roof when I saw they were parked outside. Have I ever had them before that? No but a burger is my standard post hike meal so I was excited for that alone. They had some creative choices on the menu and I went with a Continental Divide burger with fried russets. It took about 20-30 mins to get and when we did, was stoked to check it out. The potatoes were THICC and no complaints from me! Crunchy on the outside, cooked to perfect on the inside, they were salty, fried and everything I needed in my life at the moment, the burger was equally delicious, handheld and packed but didn't make a complete mess. The patty was cooked more on the well side (personally im a medium gal but they didn't ask) and also on the thinner side so just an fyi if that's a dealbreaker for you. I've wanted to try RN for so long, and today was the day at Two22 Brew! I ordered the Wanderlust chicken sandwich and potatoes, and both were AMAZING! The chicken was super tender and flavorful, and the bun was soft yet toasty. The potatoes...whoa. I walked up to the chefs in the truck when I finished eating and said, "I don't know what kind of cr*ck you use in those potatoes, but WOW." THE best grilled vegetarian sandwich I've had for about a year... thick slabs of mozzarella, pesto, tomato with crispy little potato nuggets and aolli. And maybe the nicest people ever. They were in a food cart by a pub sans food and I doubt I'll ever find them again. Would be great if they were in one permanent spot as I've had a super hard time finding decent food since moving here other than making it myself. Rustic Nomads is some of my favorite food, and by far my favorite food truck in Denver. My partner and I have been following them for about a year - we look them up online and go to whatever brewery they're at just to get some tasty burgers, russets, and *amazing* garlic aoili. The fact they often park at breweries gives the added bonus of trying new craft brews while you eat. The burgers are incredible. I'm plant-based and they have a delicious veggie burger they customize to accommodate me, taking the time to go through each ingredient (including a dairy-free rosemary potatoe roll for the bun). Their BBQ sauce is tangy, vegan, and a great addition to any burger. You can tell they really care about their customers and their food, which results in the most friendly, personable, impeccable service. As many others have mentioned, when you go make sure to get the russet potatoes; my partner also says their garlic aoili is the best around. I couldn't recommend a food truck more highly.
