Just found out there's another Heidi's in Douglas County! I've been going to the original Lone Tree location for years, my company actually financed and built that one out; so I had to check out this new spot on Mainstreet in Parker. This one's got a cozy, small-town vibe, tucked between other shops with plenty of seating both inside and outside. From the second I walked in, I was greeted with big smiles and a friendly "Welcome in!" The staff here are genuinely nice and make you feel at home. Of course, I had to get my go-to: The Bronx Bomber: pastrami, egg salad, spicy mustard, Cajun sauce(my add on always) on both sides, pumpernickel bread, lettuce, tomato, and thin-sliced red onion. Absolute perfection. This sandwich always slaps. My coworkers saw it and immediately asked, "Where did you get that?" Told them straight up -- Mainstreet Parker, Heidi's got another location. Every bite takes me back to the NYC delis I grew up with and miss dearly. If you're craving a legit New York-style deli sandwich with flavor that hits every time (and comes with potato salad or chips), this is the spot. This location has been around 9 months, so definitely time to visit--especially as I had a coupon! Tried to order online but couldn't figure out the coupon, so called in and the employee who answered graciously offered to take a phone order to apply my coupon. The order would be ready quickly, in 5-10 minutes. First disappointment was that they were out of the chicken salad I craved. I ordered egg salad instead, with bacon, on a hoagy roll with sesame seeds on top, pickle spear, and potato salad for my side. The egg salad was very good (lettuce and tomato added), bacon was a short piece on each half of the sandwich, so not worth the $2.50 up charge, I'd say. The hoagy roll was fresh and generously sized. (I saved 1/2 my sandwich for later.) The potato salad was meh, but luckily there was very little of it. Should've have selected the Lay's potato chips, or one of the other chip options available with an up charge. Hubby was very disappointed with his corned beef Reuben. The marble rye bread was chewy (is that normal?), and the only condiment he requested, mustard, was missing from his sandwich. The sandwich itself was smaller than expected. Again, the potato salad side was astonishingly tiny. We decided it was a 3-bite portion. We were able to park out front in the street to pick up our order. There are a few tables inside, but they unoccupied at 6:30 pm on a weeknight. No plans to visit again. read more

I went called today to make a to go order. First I could not hear the guy to make my order. I kept asking him if he could please speak louder. He never did. It was frustrating. Then I picked up my order. It was a French dip sandwich. The sauce was great for dipping. The French dip sandwich was horrible tasting. The bread was bad tasting and hardly any meat inside the sandwich. I have gone to different Heidi and I thought they were great. I thought this one Heidi would also be great. The potato salad on the side was worse. The salad was very bland. They have absolutely no seasoning. The potato salad only has mayonnaise and potatoes and the nothing else. I took 2 bites of the potato salad and threw it away. The pickle on the side was tasty. I do not recommend this place. I'm hoping they will improve since I live in Parker. read more

So very disappointed. Gave this place 2 attempts to make it worth the money but unfortunately, it has failed. First was lunch, a Reuben and wedding soup. The bread to meat ratio was completely off, I wish I had a picture but you got almost 3x bread compared to the sandwich insides. The wedding soup was so lack luster - no flavor whatsoever. Meat was clearly pressed and frozen and the noodles overcooked to mush. If that wasnt enough to keep us from going back, the breakfast was. Pictured is the $10 breakfast burrito. Has microwaved everything in it. We watched the guy put everything in a bowl, microwave, slap it on a tortilla and microwave again. Nothing was fresh, nothing was even semi-homemade about it. Good food, long wait times, high prices, and no good spots to sit make Heidi's Brooklyn Deli in Parker the lower end of mid tier. The space they occupy is long and narrow which means that if you want to sit inside and it is busy you almost certainly have someone's rear end in your face, and if you are waiting for your food there are precious few places to stand where you aren't trying to either be in someone's way or hovering over them. They do have some outdoor seating on the patio which is nice but is bound to be full on a nice day. The food was good and what I would expect from a deli where it appears they make and slice the bread onsite. There are a bunch of sandwich options that should appease most tastes. However getting my food was painfully slow (~15 min for a pastrami & Swiss sandwich) which made having no place to wait comfortably even a bigger problem. The cost was not on par with the food and service I received either. You could go to a good sit down and get a full meal for what I paid for a sandwich side & drink. I fully expect that an authentic deli with homemade bread should be on the higher end of sandwich places, but this was in lower tier stake house ranges. Would I go again? Maybe, if I happen to be downtown, and I order ahead for just the sandwich, but even then I'd question if going to Kneeder's on the other side of Parker Road would be a better choice for my dollar. read more

The food was good , it's kind of like a BYO sandwich which I really like. The ladies in there were really helpful and nice. I went 2 hours from closing and I was the only one which was actually really nice and refreshing bc I didn't feel rushed. The music was perfect volume and I was a nice linner meal. I wanted to like this NY-vibe deli more, but the long wait, elevated prices, and mediocre food held me back. We had a friendly greeting upon entering and appreciated the large menu of choices. One in our party was super happy to see gluten free options! Upon asking for recommendations of favorite sandwiches, we were told "they're all pretty good but the BLT seems popular." Given the breadth of options on the menu, and the namesake of a Brooklyn Deli, this reply was pretty disappointing. We went with traditional Reuben and appreciated the option of both corned beef and pastrami. Nearly $40 (with 15% tip) for 2 Reuben's, one drink and a water cup, we received our sandwiches almost 15 min later. There was one additional customer before us. The Reuben's were fine, a bit dry as they seemed very skimpy on ingredients, the bread was chewy, simply not meeting expectations. A pickle and side of chips were included - the pickle was good, a tiny bag of Lay's chips were disappointing. When our order was ready, two bags were handed to us - despite eating in restaurant - and we asked which sandwich was the gluten free. Surprisingly we were told to just "look at the bread because we could see the rye." The guy literally made the sandwich, he asked if the gluten free was for allergy or preference reasons (allergy) and then didn't bother to tell us which was which?!? Very odd. Anyway, I wanted more from this cute place on Main but I'm not sure I'll return. Nevertheless, the menu did have some great sounding sandwich options. WOW! What a great addition to Parker! We had lunch at Heidi's today, and it was outstanding. My Husband had dined at a Heidi's years ago, and remembered their bread specifically. Peyton and McKayla helped us with the menu, we're so friendly, and prepared our food so thoughtfully, and fast! Our sandwiches were neat (my Hubby is quite critical of sloppy sandwiches, and he was pleased!) My Husband had the homemade Chicken Salad on Marbled Rye. The big chicken chunks were fresh and tossed in a traditional sauce, piled on top of tasty fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I had the Egg Salad which was fresh, simple, and yummy, but on toasted Marbled Rye. The Marbled Rye was the highlight! So much so that we bought a day old loaf, for $3.99. They have a few other bread options, all made in house! We will definitely be coming back! read more

First time stopping in. Ordered the Italian sandwich expecting it to blow my socks off since it was $16. It was okay. Not worth $16 dollars in my opinion. I'd rather have a Jersey Mikes sandwich. The potato salad was bland. Ordered some Mac and cheese for my son which came with chips and juice. With no pricing on kids food I was pretty startled by my total coming out to $26+ since the cup of Mac and cheese was so small. The Mac was also runny and not that great. Oh well. I'll be fair, very underrated place, got the "Heidi's Club" and lays chips and got soda, I got all of these with my friend Silas, the workers, they were very nice.
