The employees are always fun to chat with and the owners are pretty awesome. The clothes other than the T-shirt's aren't really my bag but I still always love stopping by here on every visit to Stanley. Make sure you use the rewards programme thing on the little iPad thing to check in with your phone number. Those points can really rack up and give you an excellent savings on purchases!

Upon going into the store, I was greeted instantly with a warm, smiling face offering help. It was my lucky day because they were having a sale on summer clothes and a dress I was eyeing was on sale. Score!!! While perusing through other racks, the salesman asked to start a dressing room for me and put the clothes I had in my hand into the dressing room. I ended up purchasing the dress and 2 other tops. Another bonus is the owner's dog is so sweet and was laying patiently by the dressing rooms. How could one not resist a sweet dog?? I browsed the jewelry items and found so many more items that I would like, but had to keep to a budget somewhat. Man, adulting is hard ;) I will definitely come back!

The third person seemed like she had worked at Ruby Jane's longest and she was extremely dismissive and rude, even to her coworkers when they asked her for guidance. She was waving off her coworkers, ignoring customers who said they liked merchandise, bringing people the wrong clothing. During the return of an item purchased online, the cashier was rude, impatient, and visibly irritated. At the time, there were no other customers present. I addressed his behavior by stating that he was being rude; I did not , insult him, or behave disrespectfully. After I thanked the cashier and stepped away to continue shopping, I observed the same cashier start helping another customer, and both of them began laughing and making derogatory comments about me. I returned to the counter to address this behavior, at which point the other customer began yelling at me, telling me to "behave better," completely unaware of the irony of his own actions. The involvement of other customers in a matter between a Nordstrom employee and me was inappropriate, unnecessary, and deeply unsettling. When I stepped outside the store to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, an individual named Justin approached me and introduced himself as the manager on duty. He immediately stated that the cashier who assisted me was the kindest and most polite employee in the store. He also referenced the existence of video footage. I asked whether he had personally reviewed the video, as his comments appeared to reflect a preconceived bias similar to that displayed by others involved. He acknowledged that he had not viewed the footage. I informed him that I intended to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, as this was not the first time I had felt humiliated at this location. I thanked him and left. While in my car, I contacted Customer Service and was treated professionally and respectfully; the representative demonstrated a high level of understanding regarding my experience. I have been a loyal Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack customer for many years and have shopped at locations across the country. I have never experienced treatment like this elsewhere. Unfortunately, this incident marks the third time I have felt disrespected and humiliated at this specific store. On a prior occasion, I spoke with the store manager, Mr. Matthew, whose response I found to be dismissive and arrogant. I clearly stated at that time that I would no longer shop at this location, but unfortunately, I did not respect my decision and my boundaries. Given the seriousness of this incident, I am escalating this complaint to higher levels. The conduct of both the employee and the customers who felt empowered to intervene without any factual understanding of the situation was inappropriate and raises concerns of a potential hint of discriminatory behavior. I was informed that video footage with audio exists, which I welcome being reviewed. I will not shop at a store where I am made to feel unwelcome, disrespected, or singled out. I choose to spend my money where I am treated with the same dignity and respect afforded to everyone else.
