Once again, I experienced humiliating and unacceptable treatment at the Nordstrom Rack store in Belmar, Lakewood. During the return of an item purchased online, the cashier was rude, impatient, and visibly irritated. At the time, there were no other customers present. I addressed his behavior by stating that he was being rude; I did not , insult him, or behave disrespectfully. After I thanked the cashier and stepped away to continue shopping, I observed the same cashier start helping another customer, and both of them began laughing and making derogatory comments about me. I returned to the counter to address this behavior, at which point the other customer began yelling at me, telling me to "behave better," completely unaware of the irony of his own actions. The involvement of other customers in a matter between a Nordstrom employee and me was inappropriate, unnecessary, and deeply unsettling. When I stepped outside the store to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, an individual named Justin approached me and introduced himself as the manager on duty. He immediately stated that the cashier who assisted me was the kindest and most polite employee in the store. He also referenced the existence of video footage. I asked whether he had personally reviewed the video, as his comments appeared to reflect a preconceived bias similar to that displayed by others involved. He acknowledged that he had not viewed the footage. I informed him that I intended to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, as this was not the first time I had felt humiliated at this location. I thanked him and left. While in my car, I contacted Customer Service and was treated professionally and respectfully; the representative demonstrated a high level of understanding regarding my experience. I have been a loyal Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack customer for many years and have shopped at locations across the country. I have never experienced treatment like this elsewhere. Unfortunately, this incident marks the third time I have felt disrespected and humiliated at this specific store. On a prior occasion, I spoke with the store manager, Mr. Matthew, whose response I found to be dismissive and arrogant. I clearly stated at that time that I would no longer shop at this location, but unfortunately, I did not respect my decision and my boundaries. Given the seriousness of this incident, I am escalating this complaint to higher levels. The conduct of both the employee and the customers who felt empowered to intervene without any factual understanding of the situation was inappropriate and raises concerns of a potential hint of discriminatory behavior. I was informed that video footage with audio exists, which I welcome being reviewed. I will not shop at a store where I am made to feel unwelcome, disrespected, or singled out. I choose to spend my money where I am treated with the same dignity and respect afforded to everyone else. read more

Unnecessarily overpriced! I remember when Nordstrom Rack was completely affordable and I loved shopping here. It had been years since I've been and thought I'd look around today. I was shocked at that outrageous prices. For starters, they have designer handbags and wallets right as you walk in. The Kate Spade, wallets and purses are double or triple the cost of what I can find them for on the Kate Spade official website. They had a small variety of dresses which were also overpriced. On the clearance rack items were still close to $90....clearance! I found a cute small summer dress, which supposedly had an original price of almost $400 and it was marked down to a little under $160. It was just a basic floral, print cotton dress. I used to go to Nordstrom Rack because it was affordable, but with these prices I might as well just go to the regular Nordstrom's or Macys. read more

Great store! Lacked the amount of variety that I needed for my shoe size of 9.5 though :( Sad times! Besides that I did find a beautiful pair of blingy heels! So I bought those! :) There are some good deals in this store and a great variety for both genders! The store was very clean and the stock was well placed! I didn't see too many people on the floor to help or clean though...no one asked if I needed help with anything or smiled in my direction...work on that people! Besides those flaws, great store! Literally changed their fitting room policy and didn't update anyone about it... there was a man in the WOMANS changing room, taking pics of me on his phone through the HUGE cracks in the door. NOT OKAY. I was extremely uncomfortable especially after I noted this individual. When I brought my concerns up to the fitting room attendant, I was advised that although there are "mens' and "women" fitting rooms, they were now gender-neutral. If these are going to be gender-neutral, proper privacy needs to be given to patrons. read more

This Nordstrom Rack location is located at the Belmar with it own parking lot. My husband and I came by this store last Friday (9-18) in the afternoon to shop (I am so grateful that my husband takes me shopping, even when he doesn't want to. Thank goodness for the free WiFi here to keep him occupied while I shop). Anyways, this Nordstrom Rack had some great deals and was organized similar to other locations that I have shopped at around the area and back at home. But the only negative of Nordstrom Rack is that you have to be willing to dig through the racks. Also you may not always be able to find the best deal on your first visit (so plan on multiple visits to find a great score on an item). At the end of my visit, I only ended up buying a dress shirt. Was looking for a particular style of sandal but was unsuccessful at finding one (there is a DSW at the Belmar in case you are in the same situation as me). If I lived in the area, I would come back to visit and hope to find an amazing deal. read more

Best NR in the area for plus size clothing. The options for shoes here are also the best. The variety in options is much better than the Colorado store. I literally walked around the entire Colorado store in 5-7mins and didn't find one item I was interested in purchasing. That store was almost depressing. You have to *know* how to shop a Nordstrom Rack. Half of the store is the half-seasons and last-seasons actually from Nordstrom. Meaning: the Brand-Name, well-made stuff. It's organized as such, and labeled as such. And you'll find some good discounts there. Great discounts, if they make it to clearance. Then there's the other half of the store, which is just like any other discount retailer. Not quite the Brand-Name, High-Quality stuff, but not complete junk, either. There you'll find lower prices than in the "Hoity-Toity" section. This location has a good selection of shoes and accessories as well, and the interactions I've had with the staff have been friendly. Parking is shared with a Best Buy, and you'll have to wiggle in and out of Belmar traffic to get in, but it's not awful. read more

I was here for a day trip for work and stopped here to kill time. I was wearing a suit and it started to rain, I figured the Rack would be a good place to find some Nike Fits to wear on the plane ride home to SF bay. I was just at the Rack in San Leandro, CA the day before and was still cringing b/c I knew the hassle of going to the Rack. And ironically they had plenty of stock of items in my size, and yes I even got the Nike Fits! I LOVE THIS RACK in Lakewood!!!! Everything is color organized, size organized. Hell you can see the floors b/c it's clean and tidy. There isn't a shoe window where you get the mate to the shoe you're interested in trying on. The shoes are paired in boxes, neatly. I mentioned this to many of the helpful sales associates, that I am enamored with this store location and I wish all Racks were this beautiful. Kudos to the staff there. read more

I am in love with Nordstrom Rack, and this one is probably the nicest one I've visited. It's big, not at all cramped, and organized well. The shoe selection is especially fantastic, even if you have tiny size 5 1/2 feet like me. Like all Racks, the selection will vary week to week in quality, but you can probably find something you didn't know you needed on every visit, and for a much more affordable price than a regular Nordstrom. I really didn't need a reason to spend more money at Belmar, but I'm really happy this store is here. read more

This Rack Rocks!! Yes, yes it does. If ever you feel the need for some retail therapy, this is the one to go visit. Its way more organized, neat and tidy compared to other Racks I've been to. They have just about everything you need and plenty of things you don't! My weakness is the handbags...they usually have a great selection of designer bags. Oh, and shoes...shoes you need and shoes you just want cuz they're so dang cute! And, for all you men out there...need shoes, shirts, hats, socks? This is the spot. My husband likes shopping about as much as a root canal and yet, we spent several hours here last week updating his wardrobe. He got a new pair of Cole Haan shoes (which retail for over $250 for $99), a pair of really nice boots, several dress shirts, socks, lounge pants, and I couldn't believe the price at the register. For everything we bought, it would have easily been over $1,500 at Nordstrom, but it was a bargain at the Rack! As much as I enjoy shopping, I enjoy a good deal even more. Happy hunting! read more

I used to love this place, and do appreciate how they're trying to expand their health/beauty and home department. However, if you're a plus sized person, this store might give you a slight aneurysm. They've downsized our "section" and we've gone from 4-5 racks full of clothing, to just 2. Even though there's just two racks to sort through, you'll spend a lot of time sifting through all of the cute smalls and mediums that are. always. there. Over a quarter of the plus-sized racks are a graveyard for miscellaneous items that can't seem to find their way home, and the employees presumably can't find them either. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they haven't organized that section since they opened. The staff is always very friendly, but if you're looking for a relaxing day of discount hunting, I'd suggest heading elsewhere and avoiding this place on weekends like the black plague. read more

This place has great product not just off season leftovers that no one really wants. I was super excited to get some cute Tory Burch sandals, Coach wedges, and a few other high end designers that usually sell quick in my size. I felt like a kid in a candy store. There were almost too many options and oh how I wish our Nordstrom Rack was as organized and laden with goodies as this one. Maybe I just haven't hit the Houston one at the right time, but it never has as many great designers in the shoe department as this one. I highly doubt we don't have the demographics to support it, but maybe they just move the product in the main store too well down in Texas. Anyway I was only shopping for cute flats and sandals, but man I wish I could come to Denver's NR during boot season. If I was in the market for clothes I saw a few darling items and in my size no less. woohoo! My hubby lucked out with several great T's and a fabulous pair of True Religion jeans that were a steal. He would never in a million years have paid full price for them, but at NR he finally broke down and got a pair of nice jeans. Mama is a happy girl! hehehe I am kind of glad you are so far away because if I could visit weekly I would be broke very quickly. ha ha Not to mention it makes it more of a treat when we visit each ski season. The masses have yet to find this place so i'm weary about letting the cat out of the bag. The staff is pretty laid back and tend to chat a lot among themselves. (as well as shopping for themselves) Selection is pretty good, but not as well laid out as Park Meadows. The extra star is for the great parking, and no crowds. I love that they put out the whole set of shoes instead of making you take one and ask for the set - i hate that! Dressing room is nice I'll probably pop in whenever i'm at belmar! read more

I found my store experience to be absolutely uncomfortable and unhealthy. I felt very uncomfortable not at the fact that there were long lines, that's not my issue at all, it was at the fact that management was letting people in without any masks. What's more abhorring was that management was comforting the people without masks. I was shocked, disappointed, and uncomfortable by their neglect for the safety of the rest of their customers. The exchanged I witness went as following: I happened to get in line behind a mother and son who were both wearing masks. Then after a few minutes two other customers without any masks approached the line and joined them. It turns out it was the daughter and friend of the mother. The son in the party even asked them both "where are your masks". I kept my distance of at least 6 ft behind them. The lines were long. I had to wait 1 hour and nearly 15 minutes behind them. Through that eternity, Nordstrom workers walked by and said absolutely nothing about the fact that they were not wearing masks. As we finally got closer to the register, the manager of the store, a woman with dark hair who was wearing a mask and gloves, approached them, and said "Wow y'all are making a day trip out of this no? Y'all were the first ones in the store and you're still here!" I've never been more disappointed in management. This conversation shed the light that these two shoppers had already been in the store without any masks all day! I still can't believe the management disregarded public safety and risked the lives of many shoppers by comforting the folks who weren't following protocols. After this experience I even visited the Nordstrom Rack website, and on there it says that NRack will "provide masks for employees and customers" if they don't have one. It turns out management here wasn't even following their own company policy (!). I hope someone hands down consequences to this management for literally risking the lives of their customers. Also, there was like literally over 100 customers allowed in their. Can headquarters or the state do something about this? The clothes I purchased were great and at a solid 40% off. Very happy with this. But if I get Covid 19 and pass away, what's the point??? I won't be able to wear these in the afterlife. read more

While this place is discounted from Nordstrom's regular pricing, some of it can still be very expensive. That being said, there are some fantastic deals to be found here, and for the vast majority of their products, it's of much higher quality than you would ever find at a place like Target or Kohl's. The one huge boon to The Rack is the huge shoe selection. Not only do they offer up a ton of shoes at pretty good prices, they also carry larger sized shoes for women. I'm talking size 12, 13, 14. They usually have about 50-70 pairs of my size 12 shoe to try--a lot of them are stilettos or pumps, but from time to time, I find fantastic shoes that are just my size. The other thing is that this particular Nordstrom's Rack gets the tall sizes for women. Other Racks in the area get the majority of the petites, everybody gets the regular and plus sizes... But here, this is where I can find pants that fit my 6' figure. They don't have a massive selection of tall women's sizes, but you'll probably find it here before you find it at another Rack. The staff are helpful, but not in your face. Sure, they have to offer you the credit card at every transaction, but nobody has ever seemed annoyed to give me the schpiel, and I've never had to sit through an awkward, "are you sure?" when I decline the card. So, that's cool. They just kinda let you do your own thing and browse at your leisure. read more

I have a serious addiction to this place. This is the only Nordstrom Rack I have ever been to and it is fantastic! The store is well laid out and has lots of great natural lighting. I love that they have a tailor in house and I thought the alterations costs were very reasonable for stuff bought in store (they are more expensive if you bring in cloths bought elsewhere). I've picked up name brand jeans for both my husband and myself here and you can't beat their prices for name brand denim. However, my all time favorite find was a Columbia snow suit for my daughter for $30! (And this was even in the winter when I needed it!) read more

You want something shiny? This new Rack is totally it. I went to return a few items the man didn't like and ended up with a few things for me instead...whoops. You have to have patience when shopping at the Rack, but it's a much better discount experience than any Marshalls, TJ Maxx or Saks off 5th experience I've ever had. Never go in looking for something specific...it won't happen. Instead go looking for something general and only hit a few departments. Ie: Shoes, handbags, lingerie, trendy clothes, outerwear...but don't try to take on the whole store or you will leave 2 hours later a bit frustrated. read more

This location is big, well organized, and has a great selection of discount designer clothes, shoes, and accessories in a pretty good variety of sizes and styles. We came here and a very helpful gal, I think her name was Kristen, instantly helped me find exactly what I needed. She measured me and found my size. We were in and out in under thirty minutes. Though I grew up a regular Rack shopper when I lived in the PACNW, I had forgotten how great their deals can be. That is until yesterday, when we stopped in for a new pair of shoes for my husband, and I walked out with a pair of Cole Haan with Nike Air brown leather heels for $29.90 marked down 85% off from $200. I'm still wearing a pair of navy Cole Haan heels I bought at the Nordstrom Rack in downtown Seattle almost 10 years ago - even though my dog nibbled on them right after I purchased them - the shoes are that amazing. I love how this store was super organized with separate racks by clothing size. It was efficient to get in and out, especially now that you can check out anywhere in the store! Shoes are boxed together meaning you don't have to wait in line at the shoe desk to get the matching shoe. I also spotted a ton of Nike yoga gear including extra cushy and grippy mats with a carrying strap, foam blocks and nylon straps for stretching. Nike has always made my favorite, most comfortable and longest lasting yoga mats and now I know where to find them! I also found Keen merino wool hiking socks which I love because they are sewn for each individual foot so the seams never get out of wack. These are all just little things I normally buy online when I find good deals, but now I won't have to go to as much hassle (or pay shipping) for them. read more

prior to moving here, i hated nordstrom racks because the socal ones and the phoenix ones were always a mess! it took me a while to get the courage to come in here and i'm glad i did. if you're a shopper, you will probably spend hours in here but if you're more like me (a quick once over and then you're out) this place is organized and inviting. it's easy to do a quick scan, grab what you want, and get the hell out which my favorite type of shopping. read more
