Great stop in the town of Clinton. Just next to the rr tracks... love the visual and auditory effects!! Great service and great food with a warm welcome because we obviously were not regulars. Friendly people with great service what more can you want with a cold beer in a bottle?!! No draft beers here!

Best wings at the new restaurant the rusty railz!!!! There's a bar side and a restaurant side. Older crowd. Lottery machine, pool table a few high top tables. Nice place to stop for a bite to eat or grab a few beers.

    Turkey and mashed potatoes.

We had planned to arrive during prime dinner time, so we made a reserved reservation through Yelp, which was definitely the right call. We started with the truffle fries, and even though I don't usually like or order crinkle-cut fries, these were outstanding. They were topped with shaved Parmesan, sun-dried tomato aioli, and truffle basil mayo and were absolutely delicious. For entrées, I had the Brandy Burger with chips, which was fantastic. My husband ordered The Pammy Melt with chips and a side salad, and the homemade ranch dressing was especially good. My younger son had the New York strip steak with sweet potato fries, finished with a bourbon maple syrup glaze that he loved. My oldest son went with the Cheeseburger Deluxe and fries, which he said was great as well. From the outside, the restaurant looks like an old house, and inside it's quite small, but very quaint, cozy, and welcoming. We did wait about 20 minutes for a table, but our server was incredibly friendly and attentive the entire time. He checked on us multiple times, offered drinks while we waited, and kept us updated on when our table would be ready. He was kind, personable, and clearly attentive to everyone in the dining area. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a really enjoyable night. We would absolutely go back.

The owner, Tom, has such a big heart and loves running his business. So much that he hosts a Christmas party for children every year. Each kid gets a gift bag, cookies, milk and/or hot chocolate and the chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas. Also celebrates every other holiday, showering his customers with gifts and reduced/free drinks. The food is delicious and cheap. And made with a lil extra love. Pool table is only 50¢. Music is $1 or less per song and you can hear it inside and outside in the beer garden. You can play horse shoes or unwind by the fire. Can't go just once. The bar makes you want to enjoy the comforting welcome given by the locals and randos. Always a good time in my eyes. I recommend this bar to everyone over the age of 21. And everyone under 21 for the Christmas party. Tom will do the best he can for you to leave content and satisfied and wanting to come back over and over.

Some changes chase people away. Hodges Cafe had a glorious heyday. Hodge was always a friendly face ready for nice conversation or life advise. The Hodge Burger was award winning in this area; people still crave them. Friday nights were great for a Hodge Burger then walk it off with a walk to the theatre for a movie (now closed) then walk back to Hodges for beers. Sad that most of the neighborhood establishments are gone now. Barberton had quite a few neighborhood places that could be safely walked to from home. It seems to now be a rarity that people can pass along anything and expect the recipient to love it with as much heart as the giver. Your public misses you Hodge.
