My husband ordered the bowl of chili. It was just average and could've used more cheese on top to really bring it together. I went with the croissant BLT. The bacon was a highlight--thick and perfectly crispy--but the croissant seemed a bit old and fell apart after the first bite. It was also heavy on the mayonnaise; a lighter hand would've made a big difference. My mother had the American Scramble and enjoyed it--it was tasty and packed with plenty of vegetables. Had a great breakfast here this morning with friends. Everyone ordered something different. All of the items were delicious. The cinnamon roll we got to share was a hit. Big and ooey gooey! I had an early bird meal which was the perfect size for me. Came with one piece of toast, egg, meat and hash browns. Our server was truly spot on. This place was super busy early, we came around 1015 am and had a party of 7. Waited maybe 20-25min to get seated. This dinner has the feel of an old time dinner, but with upgraded furnishings and decor. Table and booth was cleaned thoroughly before seated. Our waitress was amazing on the refills and communication on when kitchen was getting out our food! She was amazing, with it being super busy. She still took great care with our table. The food was 10/10. We had country fried steak, Irish Benedict, cinnamon roll, biscuits and gravy. Everything came out warm and tasted great. I think the country fried was standout. Big proportions and gravy is flavorful. All the potato sides were great as well! Hash browns and breakfast potatoes. Price was also super reasonable!!! I went there for the second time in my life, and they deserve the title "Best Sandwiches in Lake Havasu City"! The food was incredibly rich and tasty. I got their BLT w/ wheat and sweet potato waffle fries, and in 10 minutes, the BLT and sweet potato fries were in a better place now. The service was super fast. We were seated immediately, the waiters were super kind and hasty to serve my meal, and the drink was served to me within 3 minutes. Ambiance was super classic-diner feeling. I got a booth this time, and like their counter seats, they were comfortable. The outside temp was around 105-ish, so I am glad the AC was nearby my seat. Coming back, definitely! read more

This is the place to go for breakfast or brunch when in Havasu. I regret when we have gone anywhere else (like today). The food is always good. First, I would say that the hostess was outstanding with a smiling face and helpfulness. Our waitress was just ok. It took 5 minutes to even acknowledge us while walking by 4 different times. Other than that her service was average. We chose this restaurant specifically because they always serve an excellent Reuben sandwich but this time the c beef was shredded and tasted like it came from a can couldn't find the sauerkraut and the sauce was on one half of the sandwich and a plate. They are closed for dinner. Homemade corned beef hash, chicken fried steak and many other items. Great to see homemade corned beef. It was very good with over medium eggs and hollandaise sauce. $18 "After 8am" value breakfast was perfect for my wife. Excellent bacon, eggs, hash-browns and toast. $9 They also have BBQ brisket, pull pork, pork chops, steak etc. for higher end hungry eaters. Prices on the higher side but worth the quality of food. I got out of Laughlin for part of the day and decided to have breakfast in Lake Havasu City. I had Rusty'sbookmarked and it was very eays to get to. A left of the main route (US 95) onto Kiowa, and then just one block to Rusty's. The place had a lot of customers and I got the last parking spot. I motioned to a server that I'd sit at the counter and she waved me down to the last seat where I had a view of almost the whole place--the Wild Bill Hickok seat. She brought me coffee and the menu and she kept the coffee flowing. I am a fan of Benedicts so I had to order the Beach Benedict. The menu describes it as: Avocado, tomatoes, sautéed spinach, poached eggs on an English muffin topped with our house made hollandaise and diced tomatoes. It was a very good Benny and somewhat different than others I've had. My server was a wonderfully delightful person. She took my phone for me and got some shots of wall art that I couldn't get to. In short order, I had a very good breakfast and I was on my way to the Bill Williams National Wildlife Refuge to do some exploring and and experiencing nature.
