Follow me on Yelp and you'll see my number one check in spot is my coffee shop. It's an everyday thing for sure, so when I travel it is a must (and something I enjoy doing) to find a good spot to get that caffeine and hopefully good vibes to go along with it. This shop is next to (not a part of) the London Bridge Resort that we stayed in so it was super convenient and close. One minute walk. That said, typically shops close to resorts, theme parks, etc., are not the best, so I was pleasantly surprised after my first sip. I have a go-to drink and not every place can do it, or at least do it right. My iced, oat milk latte, quad shot sweetened with honey (normally agave but they didn't have it) was solid. The baristas were friendly, accommodating and willing to make the drink without issue. The shop itself has a cool vibe to it and people were hanging out both times I stopped in. The second barista (look for the dragon tattoo on her arm) had the best, completely dry with a touch of sarcasm, sense of humor and I loved it. Very cool little shop.. read more

Ambiance at first I walked in and no one was up front. Two teenagers came up within minutes Let me start by we are staying at resort. I'm sorry to say this but the coffee tastes like one you would get in a vending machine. Sadly we were looking forward to a good cup of Joe. We ordered hot coffee with two extra shots in each and she stated she put in but never saw her use espresso machine at all. When asked she confirmed she had. I know I didn't miss it but thought perhaps they had some premade? Doubt that but okay... Then the egg bites and avocado toast were pretty expensive with a tiny bit of avocado on top. All this and a 1 lb bag of coffee cost me 49.00?! More than Starbucks and definitely not worth the money. Again I cannot express how disappointing the coffee tasted where we had to throw away and drive to Starbucks. read more

Came out to Lake Havasu from California for a weekend. I was trying to catch the ferry over to the CA/Havasu Landing side and missed the 8:45am (which means I now had 2hrs and 15 mins to kill) so I was looking around for a coffee joint. I stumbled upon The Local Grind and I was blown away by how awesome it is! Nice whole in the wall dedicated coffee place with a nice coffee shop ambience, great small bites, and excellent coffee. I wouldn't go as far as to call myself a Coffee connoisseur or aficionado (though I did recently go on a mission to find the best local coffee places in Orange County, CA) but I think this place had some of the best coffee I've ever had! I come to Lake Havasu often - For now on, when I'm near London Bridge, I'll be stopping in to The Local Grind. (Hot Mocha was awesome) read more

The location havasu city the time of arrival 8:45 on a family trip to lake havasu an eager and to get on the water group of people had our stomachs and excitement rung out of us like a damp kitchen cloth when we had to wait over an hour for our food to come out You may be asking an hour for food, your on vacation just relax and enjoy the view of the lake. Which I would fully understand if it wasn't just for a a microwaved egg bite and a bagel and cream cheese. Now let's go over the service the cashier herself was colder and more distant than a sunrise in an Alaskan winter. No smiles no eye contact and about as much charisma as Hellen Keller. It was odd. I hit "other" on tip and left $1. It's a coffee shop, not a restaurant. I pulled my credit card out, and said "thank you". The girl responded with "You're not welcome." Did she want a larger tip? This made me very uncomfortable. Also, the Pumpkin Loaf bread was cold and stale. Just a poor experience overall. read more

Not worth it at all. Go elsewhere. I get for convenience when staying at the resort, it's there. But the customer service was not good, she looked annoyed at having to take my order. And the taste of the coffee is like bad gas station coffee, for $7. You're better off going to the gas station. read more

Excellent stop for breakfast on the lake. Wife ordered a breakfast sandwich with gluten free bread, which can be hit or miss. Toasted cauliflower bread was delicious and alot of love and attention went into each item we ordered. Will stop by again! read more

I love the location. I stopped during a bike ride to try only the coffee. Nice courtyard patio and a small screened enclosed balcony over looking the channel. I was surprised and happy they brew my favorite local coffee by River Blend Coffee Company and sell bags of it as well. The drip coffee was sufficiently strong, I could add half and half and still have a nice coffee flavor. (Many places make coffee too weak) Very helpful person working. I would have loved a more friendly greeting though. I'm spoiled living in Havasu with all the friendliness. read more

My service was excellent, timely & the Latte was good. I have been here before & it didn't disappoint. I have waited at Starbucks much longer. Only one worker making coffees and taking orders. Waited 45+ minutes for our coffee. When you are that understaffed and have that many drinks to make I would let people know walking in that they will have to wait for their order to be taken. I would of left if I didn't pay already. read more

We came for coffee and breakfast 4/22 and waited over and hour for our coffees and over an hour an a half for sandwiches. The poor girls working behind the counter were in tears from not having enough help and everyone being upset for the wait. SHAME ON MANAGEMENT! The girls were in tears and the truth is they were doing the best the could but they should have been supported by management knowing it was Desert Storm weekend and would be busy. The food was great and so was the coffee so despite the wait we went back 4/23. This time there was only 1 girl working and had the same issue of not having enough help and even burned her hand in the kitchen while trying to cook the food, take orders and make all the drinks. Management and the owners clearly DO NOT care about making money or running an efficient business to do anything different which is a shame because it's good coffee and food. The girls working were kind and sweet, just not experienced enough to know it would be ok to shut the kitchen down and do coffee only with the current circumstances or to advise people at the door how far behind there were before taking new orders. Management, listen to this review and do something to help your staff and business succeed!! read more

From the moment we were seated, we were ignored while every other table around us was greeted, served, checked on, and treated warmly. To make matters worse, the overall ambience felt dirty and poorly maintained, which immediately gave a bad first impression. Our server, Reena/Rina, never introduced herself and never properly attended to our table. I was left with an empty coffee cup for most of the visit. At one point, our friend had to flag her down and ask for a refill, and even then she initially ignored him. She walked around with a pot of coffee topping off every table but ours. My husband received an orange juice and water early on, but once those were gone, neither drink was ever refilled. Meanwhile, every surrounding table received attentive service--drink refills, condiments, check-ins, and everything they needed while waiting for their meals. We were there for about an hour and never received food. Not once did anyone apologize for the delay, acknowledge that we had been waiting, or offer any explanation. I listened to her laugh with other tables, calling them by name, apologizing for the wait. It was so uncomfortable. I felt extremely awkward. What made this especially upsetting was how singled out we felt. It genuinely seemed as though we were being intentionally avoided while everyone else was treated normally. I have never felt discriminated against in a restaurant until this experience. As visitors to the area, it also left us wondering whether tourists are treated differently. When we finally got up and left, the server watched us walk out the door and said nothing. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. No guests should be made to feel ignored, unwelcome, or targeted. A manager or owner should reach out and address how this happened, because no customer should leave feeling this way. AWFUL server!!!!!

From the moment we were seated, we were ignored while every other table around us was greeted, served, checked on, and treated warmly. To make matters worse, the overall ambience felt dirty and poorly maintained, which immediately gave a bad first impression. Our server, Reena/Rina, never introduced herself and never properly attended to our table. I was left with an empty coffee cup for most of the visit. At one point, our friend had to flag her down and ask for a refill, and even then she initially ignored him. She walked around with a pot of coffee topping off every table but ours. My husband received an orange juice and water early on, but once those were gone, neither drink was ever refilled. Meanwhile, every surrounding table received attentive service--drink refills, condiments, check-ins, and everything they needed while waiting for their meals. We were there for about an hour and never received food. Not once did anyone apologize for the delay, acknowledge that we had been waiting, or offer any explanation. I listened to her laugh with other tables, calling them by name, apologizing for the wait. It was so uncomfortable. I felt extremely awkward. What made this especially upsetting was how singled out we felt. It genuinely seemed as though we were being intentionally avoided while everyone else was treated normally. I have never felt discriminated against in a restaurant until this experience. As visitors to the area, it also left us wondering whether tourists are treated differently. When we finally got up and left, the server watched us walk out the door and said nothing. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. No guests should be made to feel ignored, unwelcome, or targeted. A manager or owner should reach out and address how this happened, because no customer should leave feeling this way. AWFUL server!!!!!

The restaurant was empty, yet the food took quite a while to come out. When it finally arrived, my toast was burnt, and the pastrami sandwich I tried was extremely salty. The staff also didn't come by to check on us, and the condiments at the table were empty. Overall, the service and food quality did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.
