I had surgery on my foot previously, with another foot doctor at another office, and the surgery was a failure. Dr. Owens used and thoroughly explained a somewhat different surgical approach, which from nearly the beginning showed much better results. My CT scan at 4 months post surgery showed excellent healing where there had been none before! He listened to me and my family members, and went the extra mile (with his team) to get me a bone stimulator. All in all a great experience. We are looking at an amputation and you won't see me, I am sorry all the way around this is absolutely horrific horrific care. By not seeing me and putting this off longer and longer imperial amputation is most likely going to become full amputation. Very very unprofessional and even more disheartening. In May of 2023, I checked in a half hour before my appointment and now I'm 15 minutes past my appointment time. But you have a sign that says if your five minutes or more late for your appointment it will be cancelled and rescheduled. This is absolute not okay. No communication either. And patients that have come in 10 or 15 minutes after me have been called So apparently they tell you to check in 30 minutes before your appointment but they don't say that when they tell you that you need to check in a half hour early. I checked in at 2:08pn with my paperwork out and then they come out to tell me my appointment is running at least 15 minutes behind. Not ok at all.

Ultimately what comes across is their culture- You need them more than they need you and it shows in every interaction. Also, you are required to pay before being seen. I doubt if any of these highest 6 figure paid physicians pay their plumbers or porsche mechanics before service. It's obscene!!!
