I came here because a client grabbed me a cup of coffee and it was pretty good. So I come back today and to my dismay a 16oz iced coffee was $11.45... are we out of our minds? No wonder this place had nothing but cricket noises in it. As I'm paying I realize the teenagers behind the counter have pre-added their own tip on. I selected "no tip" and it took the price down to $9.40. I'd rather just go to Starbucks, the menu options are ten times better there anyways. Upon grabbing my coffee one of the smug kids says "we don't need the coin I guess". Not entirely sure what that means. 3/10 read more

Great ambiance. Front teller was sweet and nice. The iced flat white with oat milk that i got was great and my kiddo enjoyed their chocolate chip cookie. Would highly recommend for a nice coffee break/hang out. read more

Very cute coffee shop. Inside is pretty spacious for a local coffee spot, and the ambiance is calm and luxurious. They have free Wi-Fi as well. Good drinks, although a little pricey. read more

I was around the area and need some caffeine. Disappointed, ordered cold coffee and it tasted old and my hubby ordered regular coffee and it came from a squish thermos. We expect fresh brew for a cafe like this. They don't have half and half and only milk available at 10:50 in the morning. The barista is not welcoming.. I suggest more of this place which is Cabana coffee in route 23, i suggest you take a trip and it will be worth it. You will taste the real fresh coffee EVERYTIME plus their coffee is so smooth. Will never come back to this place.... not smooth coffee plus they serve it like OLD coffee. read more

Great coffee shop in the downtown area of Rutherford. They have free wi-fi and a few spots to hang out if you're meeting a friend or want to get some work done. Rutherford has some excellent coffee shops. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them. The coffee is okay and the decor is very pretty but the service is sorely lacking. I can imagine that it's not easy to get help but it's not too much to ask to train your employees not to be impolite. It's so important to provide service. You can walk a couple of minutes in either direction from the store and get a really good cup of coffee and good service. read more

Delicious decaf caramel iced latte. So good it left me wanting more! Only thing I regret is not getting the larger size. Tried the honey alfajor and it was nothing like I've ever had before but very very tasty as well as the ham & cheese croissant. They have a variety of high quality pastries and I came to find out their alfajores are freshly made and they also serve fresh beef and veggie empanadas on the weekends! Looking forward to try those. Gave this spot a few chances along with my husband. He was never satisfied with anything he ordered and I have been about 50/50. My biggest issue is the customer service. First time I went in, never got a "hello" or "goodbye", since then no one has been exceptionally welcoming. I am a resident of town and am an advocate for supporting small business. I love that Park Ave has so many new store fronts and I want everyone to succeed! The last time I went into the shop, I had the worst customer experience and rather than vent on Yelp, I wrote the owners an email explaining what happened so that they could correct the actions of their employees and hopefully not allow another customer to have a similar experience. I never heard back. Not a "sorry that happened to you" not a "thank you for bringing this to our attention"...nothing. This was the tipping point for me. I will continue to support other local coffee shops (Ara, Erie, and soon to come Steve's!) but Rutherford Coffee shop lost a customer. read more

One of my favorite spots in town to meet up with a friend or post up and study. The staff is always kind and friendly and everything is always clean. They have a great selection of coffee, tea, and treats (the chocolate chip cookies are truly amazing!). I also love the local art displayed on the walls! If you're looking for a local quiet, cozy place to get some caffeine, this is the spot. read more
