AVOID, AVOID, AVOID at all costs…read more I could write a novel about how horrible our experience with this company was. I'll highlight a few things but the list goes on, and on, and on, and on. If you dont' read past this point, here is my one liner review. If you're a construction expert, save yourself the time and money and general it yourself, and if you aren't an expert, stay as far away from this company as possible. Original estimate of the job was 180-250k. We have now spent ~400k with them. We were conned into signing the contract with the promise of keeping it below $300k (our fault, we were naive and trusted them) and signed the contracts anyway. Original timeline (while never documented anywhere) was estimated at 4-5 months. After 7 months we moved back in without construction complete. Work was finally completed in late April (10 months later). 4 project managers in a span of 4 months. They fired the one that conned us into the signing the contract, but did nothing to clean up the mess. Instead threw a brand new person on the job on his second day with the company. Then the owner took over when that person went on medical leave (never communicated to us). We thought this was going to be the turning point since the owner of a small construction company was finally taking some ownership. We never saw him on the jobsite while he was the PM. Then a foreman was "promoted" to PM 3 weeks later but that was never communicated to us. A list of issues a mile long exists, but the noteable "misses" are below. All were fixed but only AFTER we uncovered them and brought them up. -4" of blow in insulation, code is 15-19" -airflow baffles weren't installed for attic proper ventilation -nearly sided an entire side of our house incorrectly -drywalled over multiple outlets and return air ducts -carpeted over a vent If you are still reading and are still considering this company, reach out to me for more details. Kyle Griffen recently did an inspection and it was a joke. Would not recommend and would NEVER hire…read morefor home inspection. He said that the outside water spigot was inoperable but he failed to turn the water on from the basement (tip for Kyle, the on means its parallel with the pipe and the off is NOT.) Its winter time, like most people we shut the outdoor water off from the inside when its cold! Also he notated that the fuse panel was full, but yet there is room for 4 more breakers....I could go on and on...lets see next is the roof and gutters, he listed as 5-10 years plus for roof condition and subpar gutters but obviously he did not realize the roof and all gutters/down spouts are only 8 months old...huh, he claims to be the expert????? We got the roof new sheeting and gutters by a 5 star company, not to mention he said the front porch roof needed repaired but it was inspected by roofing company 8 months ago and they said it was in excellent condition for the age and wouldnt do a thing to it.... Also, Kyle when you say a door does not latch...try pulling it shut, it works better. The plunger might stick, your real thorough.....NOT. He should be sued for misrepresentation. He either lied or he is not qualified to be a home inspector. If you want your purchase of a home to go off smoothly I would not recommend him. We have proof on every allegation and its not taken lightly. Also previous home inspector 4 years ago showed electrical system is fine and yes we do have that inspection report still. one other thing, he reported a gas leak and even showed pictures which prompted us to contact gas company, they did find a minor gas leak but it was 10 ft away from where he stated there was a gas leak...gas company checked ever single line! once again, stay away from this guy! where is your credentials Kyle, you portray yourself as an expert on everything and you fail miserably! There is more but I think i WILL LEAVE IT AT THAT. BE YOUR OWN JUDGE BUT I WOULD NEVER WASTE MY MONEY ON THIS GUY. We do have proof of all allegations not to mention a home inspection report from 4 years ago that shows everything, including electrical is in good shape and no issues.

Bobby came out and wrote me an amazing handwritten estimate which was followed to the Tea, not only did he take care of what was on the estimate but there was a few small imperfections that he fixed on my roof at no extra charge. I would highly recommend American val-you to do any work anytime, I can't speak enough about great craftsmanship and professionalism in this day and age.
