"Go on lunch," "Handle that." It felt excessive and honestly uncomfortable to witness. The tone came across as micromanaging rather than supportive leadership. I genuinely felt bad for the employees. They all looked tense and miserable, and it created an awkward atmosphere while shopping. Every employee there is an adult and seemed fully capable of doing their jobs without being directed every few seconds over a radio. The only bright spot was Destiney, who helped us toward the end of our visit. She was friendly, motivated, and actually seemed happy to assist. Her positive attitude made a big difference and salvaged what was otherwise a stressful in-store experience. I hope management considers how their leadership style affects both employees and customers. A more supportive approach would go a long way.

I was disappointed and upset with my first experience. Arman contacted me and offered a full refund. I was taken back. No excuses he just said "I'm going to take care of you, don't worry. I'll give you full refund." No excuses, no sales tactics, just a call saying he's going to take care of me. Just wow. I ended up loosing the pants to the suit. Because how he handled all this, I was going to just go purchase another pants. But he ended up giving me a full refund anyway and told me to keep the top because I can still make an awesome wardrobe with it by pairing with different color bottom. He was right. I ended up buying a suit I wanted from him. I mean how can I go somewhere else at this point. Although it wasn't even an expensive suit that I purchased, he treated me like I was his VIP client. They say people don't remember what they say, they remember how someone made them feel, Arman made me feel like he REALLY cared. I haven't been this impressed by a business in awhile. I saw Burlington and thought it would be a good place to go. My first impression upon entry was WOW. It was bright, clean, and organized. It was my first time here. This is my 2nd Burlington I've been at. The 1st Burlington was at Ontario Mills. Funny, I was so mesmerized with the atmosphere and their merchandises (they got a little bit of everything... selections are good) that I forgot why I was here in the first place. Anyway, I perused around for a little bit. I saw a nice red heart & white flower mug and it was only $3.99. I ended up getting it to replace a mug that I recently threw away. Yay! I also picked up a nose trimmer for my hairy nose (just kidding LOL). Check-out was easy. The lady staff was pleasant. If you're wondering, I did eventually use the all gender restroom. They have two of them that require a code. However, they can only be opened by the staff members... not sure why. Maybe it is a preventive measure from shoplifting. The next time I'm at SDP, I'll have to spend a bit more time here and see what other goodies are up for grabs. See you here!

It's all set up nicely from brand to brand. The staff are attentive and acknowledge you the moment you walk in. The pricing is all pretty accurate and adequate. For example, sneaker pricing is close to the same from the brand sites or other stores. I find myself browsing the whole store and have purchased items over all my visits for myself and during Christmas. They carry name brand street wear and all major Sneaker brands. They also have camping gear and other supplies from brands like Yeti. I don't take too many pictures each visit because I'm too busy shopping. They sell apparel collections of Nike, Jordan, Adidas, New Balance, ASICS to name a few. The apparel ranges from Nike, Nike ACG, Jordan, Patagonia, Carhartt, Stussy, North Face and many others. Homebred store is the flyest store in the city of Covina and something I wish I had when growing up…read morehere. They're bringing a wide range of street wear and other brands you would normally see closer to LA and other major cities. Brands like Porter Yoshida (Japanese bag brand), Stussy, Museum of Peace & Quiet, Nike ACG, Snowpeak, Air Jordan, Patagonia, North Face, Unbranded Denim (Selvedge company related to Naked & Famous), the list goes on. They have good selection of items that are regular price and a sale rack for clearance items. I was first introduced to this store through sneaker raffles for their limited drops on retro Jordans, Nike SB and Kobe's. However this store does way more, they're constantly updating the setup, they have in-person activations, and the workers seem to have a genuine care about the customers and community they serve. The workers are very attentive in-store, every time I walk in I'm greeted and they're good about making sure you are helped without hovering over you. Their customer service is on point, they're friendly and get to know you without trying to oversell you for commission. I've been able to meet a couple of their employees such as Daniel (also works at sister company Shop At Kings Montclair) and Matt who I've run into outside of Homebred and is friendly to say hello. I am hoping they re-release the Homebred fitted cap with the city of Covina patch on the side hit!
