Rows of clothing on racks with very little space to walk. Boxes of overstock on the floor that you must step around to get past. I struggled to get to the back of the store where I thought I might find the shirts I was looking for. A lady, I assume the owner, asked me what I was looking for. After I told her, she led me to the rack of polo shirts. She explained the pricing to me. As I began looking through the shirts, she said her cash register was not working that day and she was only taking cash. This was a major inconvenience since I did not have much cash on me. After deciding that there were shirts that I wanted to buy, I made my way out of the store so I could go find an ATM. After getting the much needed cash at a Wells Fargo, I returned. I went through the shirts and found four that I wanted. All were a brand that I never heard of. The fabric was a little heavier than I wanted but I went ahead and got them since the price was so reasonable. I made my way to the front to pay for them. A young girl was running the cash register which appeared to work. There was a handwritten sign that said they could not take credit cards since their machine was not working. The young lady was polite. She began talking to the older lady that had helped me earlier. She looked at the clothing tags and told her what the price should be. There appears to be no price tags on anything. There are handwritten signs on the various clothing racks which tells you the pricing. It seems like the owner has all the pricing cataloged in her brain. I paid for my purchase and they bagged it up for me. The girl said, "we exchange sizes, not colors." I said OK. I was in here on Veterans Day. There were two teenaged boys kind of hanging out in the front of the store. I guessed that the boys and the girl running the register must be the owner's kids that were out of school for the day. They seemed to be nice young people but looked kind of bored out of their minds. I got home and tried on the shirts. They fit but were a little tight. As long as they don't shrink, I should be fine. I would say that I got good value for the money I spent. The store is rather difficult to navigate. The aisles need to be wider and the boxes of overstock should be kept somewhere other than stacked in the floor. This is a no frills shopping experience. They have plenty of parking in the small shopping center where they are located. The clothes are very inexpensive. If they hold up, they are a real bargain.

Brands like Porter Yoshida (Japanese bag brand), Stussy, Museum of Peace & Quiet, Nike ACG, Snowpeak, Air Jordan, Patagonia, North Face, Unbranded Denim (Selvedge company related to Naked & Famous), the list goes on. They have good selection of items that are regular price and a sale rack for clearance items. I was first introduced to this store through sneaker raffles for their limited drops on retro Jordans, Nike SB and Kobe's. However this store does way more, they're constantly updating the setup, they have in-person activations, and the workers seem to have a genuine care about the customers and community they serve. The workers are very attentive in-store, every time I walk in I'm greeted and they're good about making sure you are helped without hovering over you. Their customer service is on point, they're friendly and get to know you without trying to oversell you for commission. I've been able to meet a couple of their employees such as Daniel (also works at sister company Shop At Kings Montclair) and Matt who I've run into outside of Homebred and is friendly to say hello. I walked into my local Marshall's (Eastland Center) and asked a floor employee if they still had any and she had no idea what I was talking about. I got on my phone and looked up the next nearest location which turned out to be Glendora. I rang them up and a gentleman by the name of Enrique politely placed me on hold and within moments confirmed they had four available. While on the call I had started to make my way over because I had ten minutes until they closed the store. I let Enrique know I was on my way and he told me there was no certainty I'd be able to make the purchase if I arrived after 9:30 pm. Having worked retail, I completely understood this. I'm sure all the employees had worked a hard day and would want to be starting their closing duties but I figured I would try. I was fortunate to catch a string of green lights and pulled into the parking lot seconds before 9:30. Enrique was by the items I had inquired about and had a dolly ready to transport whichever I chose to the register. I settled on an 80 lbs bag and quickly made my purchase. The woman who rang me up was also very courteous, friendly, and professional (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name) but thank you for the service you provided. After I paid, Enrique continued to be a major help by carting the item to my car and helping me load it. The level of service at the Glendora location was infinitely superior to that of my local location. The staff at Glendora all had a positive energy that was felt in the store. They had closed their store and the last customers they rang up, so I understand the eagerness that employee might feel when the end of the day has come and they just are ready to get their clothing duties done and head home for a much deserved nights rest. Based on the level of tenderness and service provided by Enrique and his coworkers, I will be traveling the extra miles to shop this location instead of my local store at the Eastland Center. They gladly accepted our bags that were full of books, toys, shoes, few shirts of mine and few pants of his, few old CDs, and DVDs . By the look of the store, it was nice, big and clean. We didn't purchase anything from here, but there is always a next time. Each item according to section and selection varies. Prices were not that expensive. They looked new and clean, not raggedy and old. Don't know much about parking, since we parked on the street, walked in and out. Everything took less than 20 minutes. I was disappointed and upset with my first experience. Arman contacted me and offered a full refund. I was taken back. No excuses he just said "I'm going to take care of you, don't worry. I'll give you full refund." No excuses, no sales tactics, just a call saying he's going to take care of me. Just wow. I ended up loosing the pants to the suit. Because how he handled all this, I was going to just go purchase another pants. But he ended up giving me a full refund anyway and told me to keep the top because I can still make an awesome wardrobe with it by pairing with different color bottom. He was right. I ended up buying a suit I wanted from him. I mean how can I go somewhere else at this point. Although it wasn't even an expensive suit that I purchased, he treated me like I was his VIP client.
