Roy and Annie (the owners) are wonderful and helpful, and even invite their guests to help themselves to the stunning vegetable and fruit garden behind their house. A joy to walk through even if you're not looking to pick any berries, herbs, or vegetables. There's not too much to go visit in the neighborhood, and the road traffic can be kind of loud for a few sites, but other than that, this is a wonderful spot to stay a few days and relax. Highly recommend, and will certainly visit again when/if we're in the area.

It was a nice play area for the kids, there appears to be a large amount of RV parking, there are a couple very acceptable port-o-potties, and most importantly there for some great rocky areas down by the water where the kids plus or minus you can go and explore! I've only been here when the tide has been in, but I can imagine what it is out, there are probably some pretty great tight pools. When we've been there, the small tide pools the form are great for looking for small fish, crabs, and see in enemies. It's basically going to the aquarium in real life! It takes a little bit to get here as it's about 10 miles off the main road, but the roads are nice and it goes quick. There's a more standard sandy beach just around the bend, but it's a private area and runs something like eight dollars a person to go enjoy it. We were more keen to hang out on the rocks after finding out!

We came here with a relative who recently moved here and it was wonderful to walk around and talk along the beach... visit and catch up as we strolled up towards the lighthouse. It is spring so it was windy and a bit cold but with enough layers we were pretty comfortable on our short walk. Such a beautiful state park and definitely a "must" to visit while in Port Townsend!

Sometimes, the narrow hallways are unfortunately flooded and there are some areas of garbage and vandalism but for the most part it's no impact on the experience. They replaced the master bedroom jacuzzi with just a large non-jetted tub. They still do not provide free WIFI which was a disappointment. Most nice resorts provide free WIFI. And they now charge a tourism/travel tax of $11.66 daily or $81.0 for the week. A tip for future timeshare travelers: These are 5 story townhouses with 4 different levels so you need to be mobile and in good health to go up/down all these stairs. They do have a limited number of handicapped units, but I'm not sure how you can get one as RCI didn't offer it. There still isn't a restaurant on-site so you have to get your groceries in Sequim. There isn't anything near the resort except the dock and the pool and jacuzzi was closed for remodeling. And it even snowed 4" today, but melted quickly.

Mary and Pete, the hosts, were incredibly sweet and welcoming. Our one-night stay at this beautiful Olympic-area campsite was peaceful, scenic, and well worth the visit. We loved the never-ending water faucet--supposedly the cleanest water around--paired with a gorgeous mountain view. The site came with camping chairs and a fire pit (though we couldn't use the fire pit due to seasonal burn restrictions). We especially enjoyed watching the friendly chickens roam around. Mary mentioned they're about 4 years old and still laying 6-7 eggs per 15 chickens--very impressive! Their eggs ($6/dozen) had deep yellow, vibrant yolks that were clearly organic and fresh. Yes, the chickens can be a little chatty in the morning, but it added to the charm for us. The port-a-potty was far nicer than average thanks to the scents and care Mary and Pete put into maintaining it--truly appreciated! It came stocked with toilet paper, and the water faucet (with a blue handle) was easy enough to operate once you got the hang of it. Just remember to bring your own soap or dish soap, as those aren't provided. We stayed at Campsite One, which was spacious enough for 6-8 people and offered a fantastic value. Between the friendly hosts, fresh eggs, mountain views, and peaceful farm atmosphere, this was one of the best campsites we've enjoyed--and we'd happily return.
