Im in agreement w/ the multiple statements " IF there was a --ZERO option..."I would've selected it also.THE RV DOCTOR in Ft Myers is no DOCTOR, by any means!!! Personally, they've been detrimental to my wallet,patience most importantly my priceless sanity!!! This is the most apropos example of blatant,premeditated dishonest,disrespectful behavior I've experienced lately. IF the RV DOCTOR is responsible for other people's homes; I/ we as patrons expect more diligence,integrity & deserve that a reasonable level of expectations are met. My BRAND NEW DOMETIC PORCELAIN toilet held water for 3-4 weeks. The water started quickly seeping from the ball/valve @ bottom?? I think it's a gasket or a seal? I shouldn't have to think about it because I paid $ 386.00 more BC I bought it from the RV DOCTOR when I could've gotten the SAME toilet from Amazon for $300.00.WHY would I do this?? BC I was fed a line of BS & admittedly I bit hook, line & sinker!! IF I bought it from the RV DOCTOR then the "warranty" on the service was extended,better, covered more etc. so I believed them!! Installation was $1600.00 & my $2,286.00 toilet worked for 3-4 weeks. This August will be 2 yrs. I made the RV DOCTOR aware of this issue immediately when it occurred. I am a reasonable person & it wasn't an emergency situation BC my father had broken his hip & was in rehab.for 3 months. Therefore being patient got me slapped in the face. I still have a $2300 toilet that doesn't work. My 83 yr. old father has a portable toilet in the LIVING ROOM due to this!!!I either run to the main house, hold it or pee out in the yard because of YOU people!! This is a repulsive & REPUGNANT way of conducting business!! How have you stayed in business?? RV Doctor, Ft myers Florida. Just got our RV back today. Turn it in May 18 to repair the door. No communication or only when I'd call back. Never expect them to call you for an update. Went to talk to them. Found a small tree growing in front of the Rv. They said, the county won't let them mow. We need to find another company to fix the door again. Over 2000.00 bucks wasted. zero stars DO NOT EVER USE THIS BUSINESS. We dropped our RV off there ****3 MONTHS****** ago. They replaced many things, but DID NOT correct the problem it was brought in for. The basically "held it hostage" for 3 months. Every time we asked about the progress, we were met with nastiness, and "need to order this part, or that part". We just trusted them. BIG MISTAKE ....... We picked it up today and needed a Lee County Sheriff to do so-having been "bullied on the phone, JUST TO FEEL SAFE. And even after providing a BANK CHECK. We were a bit taken back. My husband also caught a $1300 error in our favor, however we're fighting us on changing the error! It was clearly a math error. They said the "office" was not allowed to do that, we had to wait for the owner. After waiting 20 minutes, standing there with a SHERIFF, they said "it's not an error, but we are going to go ahead and do it". Here's the real kickeer......my husband wrote on the bank check "paid under protest", and then they WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE CERTIFIED BANK CHECK, they made us go back to the bank and get another check, saying their bank would not accept the check. We went back and got another check, and the bank mgr told us there was nothing wrong with the check, many people write notes on bank checks. More lies. Here's the last thing-when we drove down Alico road, the bus began doing the SAME THING IT DID 3 months ago-the whole reason we dropped it off!! They DID NOT FIX ANYTHING......AND WE WERE OUT 5K. I wish I would have read the reviews before I hired them. Too make a long story short, I waited for a part for months that never came in. Then I told them since you cannot tell me when the part is in and the part was no longer needed, they needed to refund me. well once again for months I was not refunded. Then they said, they mailed me a check which was never received. Then I told them I would pick up the check. once again a runaround. No check. RUN!!!! These people will rip you off!! I took them my RV 2 /12 ago often the hurricane beat it up badly. I picked it up 2 years ago but without the canopy done because it was on back order. I paid for the canopy with the promise they would do it soon. Two years later I can't the owner Dan to meet with me, they will not give my money back and the manager tells me she will find outs what going on and call me back but she never does! My experience with this company has been a nightmare. I stored a golf cart with them from May - October 2022. After hurricane Ian I decided to sell my golf cart since we were not going to be wintering in Florida. I contacted RV Doctor and asked if they could help me with the sell since I was in Indiana. They offered to let my buyer come and see the cart and arranged for him to pick it up. I asked if they could just mail me the check. They told me that they do this all of the time with other customers who sell their RV's while out of state and the best way is for my buyer to write out a check to RV Doctor and RV Doctor would then deposit the funds into my bank account if I gave them my banking information. I unfortunately agreed to do that. I sold my golf cart to an individual for $3250.00 on Oct 31st. He wrote a check to RV Doctor for that amount and that check was deposited and cleared. From that time until today I have only received $2500.00 from RV Doctor. It took several calls and emails from me to get them to finally pay me something. They made deposits of $1000.00 on 11/23 and another $1000.00 on 11/25 with a final deposit of only $500.00 on 12/1. They told me they were depositing $1250.00 to make as final payment. My account received only a deposit of $500.00. I filed a BBB complaint and also with the Florida Attorney General. RV Doctor told Florida Attorney General that they deposited $1250.00 and provided a document showing $1250.00 left their account, but I only received $500.00 in my account. I feel they have stolen $750.00 from me. I really don't have enough room in this review to tell of all of the misleadings and dishonesty with this company. I would avoid them. I wrote a negative review about this company a couple of months ago and took it down because they asked me to remove my review before paying me. Below is the email communication I had with them FYI. This is a really bad company. They will not order your parts. Well, they say they order the parts and then they say the parts are on back order and a year later they still don't have the part. And I found the part the next day when I started looking. They will keep your money and they will not give it back. If you have to use them, do not ever ever ever give them any money until the job is complete. they held our rv in their lot and waited doing repairs that were paid for probably because they knew we were out of town. among other repairs the most important thing was to put on a new roof coating. so the coach suffered severe water damage. By the time we picked our RV up we found missing personnel items and found that they continually used the bathroom filling the tank. It looked like they had parties in it. The brand new carpet was waisted. I wish I could give them zero stars and warn everyone to use anyone else for RV repairs. read more

Stay away from RV Doctor. I ordered and paid up front for an RV awning. It took 5 months to manufacture during Covid (can live with this). However, it was eventually delivered by the manufacture to RV Doctor and they never shipped it to us. We went to BBB, Credit Card Company, & FL Attorney General. They were never held accountable for the lack of delivery. This is not the first time they didn't deliver a prepaid awning order I discovered after my incident. Word to the wise. If you have a problem and you used a Discover Card and you try to work with a supplier who takes a long time to deliver, Discover Card will not stand behind you and refund your money. If the supplier fails to respond to your compliant, the supplier is given the benefit of the doubt and you lose your money. Same thing with BBB, all they do is pass communications between the parties and if nothing is worked out between them, they close the complaint. Just received a reply from the Florida Attorney General Office-FL Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services. They too will not stand up for the little guy. Because RV Doctor refused to respond to their inquiry regarding their failure to deliver merchandise I pre-paid for, my claim is being closed. It goes to show you that businesses can do as they please and are not held accountable and can simply chose to ignore the issue. The only way to resolve this is to take them to court. read more

Now they are saying we cannot get our $2700 back because it was a special order. We NEVER received the window from them. Not to mention the over 100 rv's that they had contracts to pull during a hurricane with no ability to possibly remove them. Yet they took everyone's money!! I had been dealing with this company for many years. You would think I learned my lesson, but I didn't. They were always behind on their delivery times but I continued to use them Not so any more. Some 19 months ago they ordered a jack for my Winnebago Vista which i paid for at that time. After many phone calls, texts and emails i still do not have the jack. I was able to reach the manufacturer but needed a purchase order number which the RV Doctor refused to give me. They no longer take my calls and choose not to respond to my texts or emails. On the day I contacted them at 11:15 asking them when they would arrive. At 11:47 they asked me to confirm appt. CONFIRM?? AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!! Update: 3/3 had an appointment to pickup my unfinished trailer at 4pm. As of 645pm I drive around the building to see them putting caulk on my roof which was supposed to be done back in august. Yet another lie! They also returned my trailer missing trim from the front (which shouldn't have even been touched) and my battery cover is gone. They did replace the jack stand that they broken but when I got home it was no longer working! So now I can't even get it off my truck!!!! This place is a joke. ------------- Dropped on my trailer in July and was giving a 1 month turn around. They knew I lived in my trailer full time and as of today 2/16/2023 I still do not have my trailer. They say they can't get parts...I spoke with Keystone who had no record of the parts being ordered. I've asked multiple times for an invoice to which I never received. I've asked for pictures of the rear of the trailer so I can literally make it road worthy to take to someone else, which I have never received. Dry belt broke, saw reviews, but called them anyway on Jan 8th. 760.00 some dollars to repair, their drive was 1 and a half hours away, with two guys, so I accepted this. Charged me 87.00 for part which was Dubble what you can buy it for. Appointment was set up Jan 25th and they did a no show, waited around that day, changed to Feb 8 the I believe. I cancelled the appointment. had to beg for them to acknowledge that I cancelled. Asked them to ship the belt, and in text messages and phone calls they claim the did, I felt that they were going to pull a fast one as they are really not helpful, so I had one shipped elsewhere asap and sure enough i had to call my card and file a complaint. Then when I emailed the and text them with no response from them before questioning them where the part was, I received answer from them that my credit card reversed the monies like they were angry. I am a 70 year old retired grandma who is moving into a rv. My ac kept tripping breaker. So I called for an appointment. Upfront you have to give them your card information. Fee altogether was $265. They came out, polite and all but seemed very disinterested in my problem. Advised me how to set thermostat and looked at breaker box. Used a gage for something. That was it. They left in less than 20 minutes. And when I called them again noone ever showed up or called. Very upsetting. That was alot of money to me. Disgruntled grandma. They kept me hanging SIX WEEKS, wouldn't return calls, kept promising they would help me out and never called back. Do not do business with RV Doctor. RV Doctor took advantage of a hurricane victim. Which is against the law. Our RV roof was damaged by Hurricane Ian. We made the mistake of taking it to RV Doctor for the repairs. We brought our RV to them in October of 2022. We signed the 20K+ check to them because the Owner Dan demanded that they needed the check to order the parts. They stated that it would be kept inside to protect the roof. My wife would get updates from Shelly that the roof materials were on back order due to supply chain issues. We found out that they filed for bankruptcy and moved to 2 different locations without telling us that they were moving our RV to 2 different sites. When we questioned Shelly about these issues, she again stated that the glue was on back order for the roof to be fixed. In August of 2023 my wife called the manufacturer of the glue, and they stated that it was never on back order, and that they just needed a 2-week lead time to make the glue. I then decided to visit RV Doctor to check on our RV. When I entered their office, and spoke with Dan, he stated that I needed an appointment to see my RV. After I made an appointment for the next day, while I was outside, Dan came out and asked me to move my truck. I asked him again to be able to see my RV. He showed me my RV parked outside in the middle of rainy season. To think that they had my RV for 10 months and the first time I had seen it was outside was the true trust breaker in this situation. My wife and I went to the RV Doctor the next morning to speak with Dan. We thought after speaking with him face to face, we would again trust him to repair our RV. Another mistake. A couple of weeks went by without any progress happening, so I went back to their shop. They now stated that the glue should be here the following week. It was now September 2023, and our RV was still not repaired. I called them on a Monday and Dan stated that they started work on the RV. I made an appointment to see the progress for that Wednesday at 3pm. The only thing that they had done was pull the AC units and sky lights, which they called prep. After a couple weeks, I went to RV Doctor on a Friday to speak with Dan. He showed me the RV in the same condition. He began giving me all the same excuses. He stated that they were going to get to work on it soon. The following Monday my wife and I went to RV Doctor and told them that we wanted our RV and did not want them to do the repairs on it, and just wanted our money back. They stated that we could not have our RV, and they needed Progressive Insurance to ok giving it back. They received that clearance, but then stated they needed their lawyer to draw up paperwork for us to sign. It felt like they were now holding our RV hostage over us. Around mid-week I drove past RV Doctor and our RV was outside in the elements. I called the police, and they still would not turn over the RV to me. Dan stated in front of the police that they never said they would keep it under cover. A complete lie. I had a police officer go there one more time to see if we could just get our RV back, again they refused. RV Doctor finally gave us possession of our RV on a Friday and over a year of having our RV. They stated that they would be working with Progressive to give them a bill for work they did on our RV. Which all they did was create damage. I had to pay another RV repair shop out of my pocket to repair my roof. Progressive has tried to reach out to RV Doctor to get this situation handled and obtain the money that is owed to us. RV Doctor has refused to cooperate with Progressive. At the end of the day, RV Doctor took advantage of a hurricane victim and has committed over 20K of insurance fraud. It is now August of 2024 and RV Doctor still has not returned the 20K to Progressive or to us. read more

Absolute worst experience. First they came out and "diagnosed the problem" for $300. A faulty outlet and antenna that needed to be installed. They said they would apply half of that to the actual repair. except they never showed up for repair. Waited all day, and they said traffic kept them from coming. Ok. So promised next day first thing. 10:40 and no one. Spoke with them in the morning and they said everything was good. They left on time, everything was good. Then was told they didn't leave in the morning on schedule. When I called them out on their lies, i was put on hold and then voice mail is full. Finally got in touch with them and more excuses. I understand the "pandemic" has a lot to do with back order part but it's odd that I had no trouble getting the part but paid for it myself because it had to be finished as I sold the motor home..but the worst part about it was the ""technician " installed the input water line wrong so the water pressure was almost zero..as I corrected that I found that the wire for the electric side of water heater wasn't even hooked up so the dam part wasn't even needed..so the new owner has a extra control board..and a water heater that works with great pressure and on gas or electric.. read more

Stay away from this business. Never a straight answer. After they had our unit from March to June and finally got on the road our previously working windshield wipers no longer worked. Our first step in troubleshooting was check the fuse... the fuse had been removed. The only ones that had access was the RV Doctor and us. When we replaced the fuse the wipers come on, but have to pull fuse to turn them off. It took them from October to end of February that the RV would not start due tp loose starter wire. This was after multiple visits from there mobile repair. They pulled it out of the driveway and took to their shop and held till June. Said it wasn't safe???? Was it safe to send us down the road with a missing fuse?? Of course they say WASN'T US. Whwn you ask them a question they say they will get back to you tomorrow. Tomorrow is a difficult concept for them. Communication with them is extremely poor. You can not get past their clerical staff. Their clerical staff who has no customer service skills and disrespect the customer by calling them "Dear" instead of using their proper name. would love to know who actually owns this crap business... would love to chat when them, but they probably have the same poor attitude. Finally went there and told me that they lost the contact information and i gave them another chance, my mistake. Now they received the check and won't do the work that they put a supplement in for. They are too busy. When they were doing the original repairs they broke a pendant light and promised to replace it but they didn't and won't now. We are responding to RV Doctor's response to our review. It's sad that a business resorts to lies to cover up for their horrible customer treatment and service. Instead of the lies they posted, here are the truths in our experience with RV Doctor: Lie: RV Doctor refunded all but $26 of our storage fee. Truth: RV Doctor refunded $0 dollars of our storage fee. They refunded us the $214 cost of a night in a hotel because we were locked out of access to our motorhome after we arranged with them to pick it up. After many phone calls, we were told they would reimburse us for a night in a hotel since we had no place else to stay. Lie: Our refrigerator stopped working because of a county power outage. Truth: We have an email from RV Doctor that says our refrigerator lost power because they left it too long in their repair bay without electricity instead of in a storage bay with electricity as we had contracted. In any case, anyone who calls themselves an RV Doctor would know they just had to turn on our generator for a short time to keep our refrigerator powered. Lie: RV Doctor cleaned our refrigerator after it lost power and all our food was spoiled. Truth: We were unable to use our refrigerator because of mold and the horrible stench. We spent many hours scrubbing and cleaning the refrigerator. Weeks later, we still had an odor. Lie: RV Doctor claiming they met the terms of our contract by storing our motorhome indoors. Truth: Our bedroom carpeting was flooded and stained when we picked up our motorhome. This could not have happened if the motorhome had been indoors. The day we returned to pick up the motorhome, it was in an outdoor lot, not stored inside. We have sent a picture of the stained carpet to RV Doctor. In addition, we lost at least $175 of food. As we requested by RV Doctor, we sent them an itemized list which they have ignored. We have received $0 for our spoiled food. read more

Well after fourteen months and twelve thousand dollars later we got a phone call Friday the sixteenth that I have better pick up my coach by 5:00 Pm. It is done. It was a chore getting to do that. La Mesa RV helped us out since we had traded for 2020 Winnebago Navion.!t is a lot smaller but suits us just fine know. Whit al the trouble we had with RV Doctor I think they are horrible people they have no thought what people go thru I have a wish that all there dealings in life will be miserable like they have been to us. They have the nerve to asked us for future business I told them they were nuts I have gone with them twice and the second time was worse then the first time. We had a bad hail storm and received damages to the roof vents as we were leaving on a trip in a week I covered the vents with plastic ,glue,and duct tape, had one fail on me when I got to the campground made some calls and found RV Doctor the person I talked to was very helpful and guided me to the best options. As parts can be hard to get (still) she told me if I could find a vent on my own she could get me in the shop with in a few days. Shout out to Camping World as well they had a vent for me. Since I could take camper to the "Doctor" it saved me a service call so will only cost labor so a good resolution for me and I'll be on my way in a little bit. read more

in my humble opinion they were the worst I have experienced for RV work. Took 9 months to replace 2 mirrors with continuing excuse they weren't available. After I suggested they go to the manufacturer rather than Newmar they got them in about 2 months. They smoked my 2 chassis batteries that were fine when I brought it in as they were 3 years old and I usually got 6-7 years by keeping them well maintained. Then they charged me over 1,000.00 to replace them with standard NAPA batteries without telling me until I arranged to pick it up. They also ignored some work I asked them to do. I personally will not go near them again! They also moved my Coach without telling me so when I went to check on progress after a few months they had moved the Coach to another location. It was nowhere to be found and they did not answer their phone on Friday. It appeared they had absconded with my Coach. Not until Monday was I able to find out they had moved without letting me know. Worst place I've had to deal with-poor communication, service and overcharged RV wash was $495-just a wash!!!! read more

Worse service - no communication - RV 9 days in shop - got charged for job - job not done! Aug 31st I called to explain that my A/C unit is on the inside full of black mold. RV Doctor offered me an A/C cleaning to get ridge of the dangerous black mold. It was proposed for $138 with drop off appointment Sep 9th. They also wanted to email me an offer for new tires that they never did. They also wanted to look at my battery to inverter cable to give me an offer to run a higher gauge wire, which they never did. The following 9 days we called 15! times and always got to hear some crazy excuses but they said that the A/C cleaning is done. So, we gave up on the other items and decided to pick the RV on day 9 from the shop. I paid the $138 for the A/C cleaning and received my keys. Opened the RV and checked on the A/C cleaning - they did NOTHING! Did not even close the A/C from below (I dropped it opened). But I am glad they did not close it because the black mold was very visible and not a bit cleaned. I wend back into the shop and the office lady and a young technician told me that the A/C cleaning does not cover the INSIDE cleaning of the unit, just the outside coil! Unbelievable! My clear concern was the mold INSIDE the unit, not how the outside coils look. $138 paid for NOTHING of my concern done, health hazardous mold inside the A/C, and 9 days in shop with no updates or answers from their side. Its sad you can't give them a zero. At first they were good, called for help a couple days later, the Ambulance showed up! They diagnosed our electrical problem, had it towed to their facility for repair. After several weeks, the repair was not addressed or slated for work, they were too busy to look into our problem and order the part (s). We told them we were going to remove our unit and move it to a RV park, and would repair it ourselves. We arrived at their facility to tow our unit, to find that a cable and safety line had been crushed (brake/turn signal cable/ safety stop cable on a 5th wheel). We took a risk and move it anyway. Called them to let them know what had happened. At first they claimed we did the damage and after a few calls they admitted the fellow that spotted our unit had never moved a 5th wheel and did not know what they were doing, he caused the damage by not wrapping the lines correctly and ran over them. No harm, just get us new parts. That then began about a year of chasing them to get these parts. So many lies about the parts, claiming they got them and shipped them but someone at our RV park stole them. All lies. Finally got the Florida Attorney general office involved. Even them they stalled, lied to them. The FA AG's folks even called RV D and the parts manufacturer to find that they never even entered an order for the parts. After nearly a year of chasing them we finally got the part and we installed them. They went on about how they had them specialty shipped after waiting a year...The special shipping was using the USPS and getting a signature requirement. They were even at the RV park to repair another unit during this period and could have taken the parts and installed it for us if they truly did have them, after all they damaged the part and should have fixed the problem. Our park manage at Sun n Shade told me one day they had worked on a unit in the park a while ago and made the unit worse than they found it. So many bad reviews on RV Doctor. Heck even when they diagnosed our problem, they damaged our AC cover breaking of plastic. But it was old and I did not hold them accountable for the damage just spent another $200 for a new Dometic cover. Shelly the office manage and owner, is such a piece of work, they have Masonic stuff in the office, one of my friends a Mason tells me that one the most important element of being a Mason is honesty. This place in my working with them is anything but honest. One of the folks that worked for the Sheriffs office where the case was assigned, also a Mason, was appalled at the lies he was told by this "fellow" Mason operation. Maybe they are not Mason's, but had only some Mason literature on the walls, I don't know for sure but whether Mason's or not, they are slippery folks to deal with. This was not that large of a $$$ issue but they were so difficult to try to work with. I'd recommend even if they were the last people in the RV business to work with, don't call or visit this organization...not an honorable business. read more

If I could leave a negative star review I would. This place is terrible. Our repair was done over a year ago on our high top Transit and we are still suffering the repercussions of their shoddy service and workmanship. Our top/roof is still leaking. The receiver module for the key fob fell behind the console due to it never being connected properly. The trim on my headliner wasn't correctly reinstalled. The wires for the electrical system on the roof were reinstalled with what the Ford dealership's tech referred to as "dum-dum" , which is what I feel like for even thinking Dan and Shelly the owners of this company would stand behind their work. I know the repairs were done over a year ago but they had our van for over 5 months and lied regarding completion times throughout the whole repair time. We use our van as our family vehicle and transport our handicapped wheelchair bound son and children to and from doctors and other activities. They didn't seem to care and used COVID as an excuse for the long repair delay. Excuses and lies! Shoddy Shoddy scam shop! Their shoddy incompetence is starting to show. My NEW van with less than 10,000 miles aged 10 years because of their terrible service and workmanship. I know that Shelly or Dan will respond to this review with placing blame on someone else and not taking ANY responsibility for their terrible service and repair work. It's what they do! DO NOT have this company do anything to your RV. I wouldn't let them fill my washer fluid, they're so incompetent. If you don't believe my review or feel this was done angrily just read all the other reviews. Unfortunately I trusted them. I hope no one else will. I will definitely be reaching out to all the media outlets, BBB and the attorney general regarding this situation. read more

My elderly father ordered an awning through tv doctor. We'll it's been over 7 months, still no awning. Several unsuccessful phone calls. As well as a pointless in person visit. I would give minus 10 stars if I could. As many have said this place is a SCAM !!!!!! We wanted a new AC thermostat installed. Tech came out and I explained situation. I showed him the new thermostat. He replied his "boss Dan" would need to come back and do the install !!!!!!!!! Installing a thermostat is basic for any competent AC tech .No one ever came back, phone calls never returned, nothing but lies and excuses. This is the WORST service business I have ever dealt with! Scammed for $355.00 like many others. I will be notifying Coleman as they gave me RV Dr number as well as the Ft Meyers Better Business Bureau. Brought rv in to: get oil change, have a fluids checked and topped off, tires inflated and: have rear extensions valves installed - not done. Told them generator would start then shut down. They charged me $160 for that and said it was fixed - stopped running driving less than 3 miles drove another 3 miles home tried to start - started for about 2 minutes shut down. I called and informed them probably within 40 minutes of leaving shop asked me to return couldn't headed for Florida Keys. Said I would call when I got back. Instead I visited you tube - made sure fuel pump was working it was. Pulled spark plug and it was black! Changed started up but then added permafoam to gas can by passing tank ran directly thru fuel filter to clean carb. Now it has run perfectly while sitting and driving giving me hard time to refund the money for work they could not repair. They want proof it happened calling me a liar! Thank you you tube. read more
