And they charged $100-$150 charge just to drive in the door. So I found Mike's Mobile Service on Yelp. I called. He was patient, didn't act rushed, answered all questions, was polite and friendly, and said "let me earn your business." So I thought hell let me give this guy a shot. They fixed the car, didn't charge me $150 just to get in the door, and ran a free diagnostic the dealerships charges for. They even went out of their way to squeeze my car into their busy schedule. While I realize that's not always possible, I really appreciated it. My total was $250--half of Ford dealership's cost (I checked.). Several days later the car is running great. MIKE called my wife to make sure everything is OK. He even told her the story about their shop Kitty, Nitro. A baby kitten stuck in a transmission they found then bottle-fed back to health. A cute little cat running around the shop who was just a bundle of joy--animal lovers always go to the top of my list. People that have a heart for animals and their customers, in my opinion, are going to make sure to do good work on a vehicle!

I am very pleased to have found such a friendly and honest shop. He got my vehicle in to get looked at the same day I dropped it off, which by the way was the the same day (@ his shop less than half a day) he had it ready to come back to me. He didn't try to sell me anything extra and he was willing to talk future performance upgrades that I asked about, and even future services that will extend the life of my motor and transmission. Del Air has been a great company to work with. My first experience with them was about 18 months…read moreago when an obscure plumbing fitting broke on our 5th wheel trailer. I called several of the suppliers in the Corpus Christi area and they all said it would be weeks before they could get the part in. I eventually called Del Air and explained what I needed. They told me to bring the broken part in and they would try to get me fixed up. This was an awesome step in the direction of providing good customer service. It took the folks at Del Air about 15 minutes of effort before they came up with a simple solution that has become a permanent fix. My most recent involvement with Del Air was in regards to a tankless hot water heater that did not survive the winter. Del Air was able to source a replacement unit and get it freighted in for a very reasonable cost. Del Air did NOT try to take advantage of a tourist in a seemingly desperate position. For that reason, along with their excellence in customer service I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I was called early in the day to say it would be an extra $50.00. I okayed that but when I got there I owed $134.00. To top things off the back was filthy!. The owner actually came out and cleaned the liftgate and back area as best he could at 5:15 after they had closed. The lady told me she had her best 3 guys on it. Well, if they were her best, it goes to show you cannot get good help these days, and again $259.00 for a trailblazer. They said I had lots of hair...I have a shih tzu who sits in the front on the rare occasions he is in the car and he does not shed. Very sad, disappointed! Would NEVER pay that much for this service, especially as I am trading the car in on Friday. I do NOT recommend this company for detailing unless you have $$$$$ to throw away.

It took them over 100 days to fix our RV and there were other customers that had been there 4-5 months ahead of us. While our RV was there at least 4 employees quit and 3 were fired. That we know of. This means that one tech may start work on your RV and someone else that may or may not be qualified will put it back together. We did find that most of the employees generally desired a good relationship with customers, but the management was atrocious. I requested that the service manager Chris K. call me and I'm still waiting for that call. Our experience was so frustrating that after 3 years of RV'ing we decided to sell the RV. Yes, it was that bad. This brought us into contact with the General Manger Russell S. whom we inquired about selling or consigning our RV with Blue Compass. After this interaction I wouldn't have sold my RV to them if they had offered full retail value and that's why we drove all the way to Houston and sold it there. During this process I encountered several other locals that also had a negative experience with Blue Compass, Rockport, so I don't think it was just us. So, if you're getting repairs or even buying, my recommendation is to go someplace else. It is my understanding that Russell S. is the manager of the Corpus Christi store too, so it may be just as bad there.

They tacked on the freight charge THEY PAY to get the trailer to them and an inspection fee as well as the usual TTL. So the price customers pay was thousands more than the sale price. No thanks. We drove 5 hours to buy our TT from a straightforward dealer. We paid stated price plus TTL. No hidden charges. Two stars for a good selection of travel trailers and a helpful salesperson. I hope the new owner reads this and does things differently because of it.
