This is an update from my review of one year ago. After Jorge checked the 5th wheel I wanted to buy. He told me 3 minor items needed repaired. I went by his "expertise" and felt comfortable purchasing the 5th wheel. There was a MAJOR problem needing repaired. The person who did the repairs said these were obvious problems to an experienced tech and Jorge should have caught it. I never would have purchased this RV if I would have known that. Of course, it cost A LOT of money to have this repaired. One star because there are no zeros. Still no information emailed regarding what his findings were and no receipt sent as he said he would. I paid cash and am a woman. Interesting. Thank you Jorge for your lack of integrity, honesty and ethical values. People learn from my mistakes. read more

We come to Chula Vista RV Resort every winter, we have used these guys every year for Service and general improvements...their work is top quality and NEVER been disappointed. Someone else may be $10 less, but I have always said I'd rather sleep peacefully than try to "save" a couple of bucks...don't waste time looking around, just call RV Pro!!! read more

RV Pro needs to change their name to "Take the money and run". That is what Jorge does. He got paid $3500.00, mostly from my extended warranty to replace both roof top air conditioners and heat pumps. He did replace them, and neither of them work right. A/c units never shut off, and if I turn on my furnace, the heat pump comes on. He won't return phone calls, he just takes the money and runs. Such a dirt bag. Every other sentence he brags about his 30 years of experience. What he doesn't tell you is that it's all crappy experience. Get a life Jorge, and stop screwing your customers. Geeeeeez! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. While staying at Mission Bay RV our washer stopped working. Called for an appt and was pleased to hear they could come in just a couple days at noon. 1230 comes and goes so I called-oh he'll be there in 30 minutes, so sorry! 1:30 I call again-should be there any time. 1:45 guy finally arrives. After searching on his phone for a few min, he calls tech support for our model and gives a halfway accurate description of the issue. Tech support tells him it's possibly a water valve-whole unit will have to be removed from our 2013 Phaeton. He has no idea how to remove it from the cabinet. Removes door and front trim, then tells me basically it's room much work to take it out. Told him to put it back together and forget it. Then said, $100 service call. For what?! Hubby told him not paying anything. He did leave without argument. Whole experience was awful! Please stay clear. Guy had no idea what he was doing. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. The worst experience ever. In the world of RV's, I'm sure there have been worse out there, but for us this was horrible. With 9 years of property management experience in my background, RV Pro's lack of professionalism, organization and punctuality is shocking. I don't know how this guy stays in business... 1) He was late. 2.) Left without entirely fixing the problem. Came out to do a repair on our water heater. He replaced the valve, and after he left, it was still leaking and now it was loudly buzzing. He didn't throughly trouble shoot to ensure the issue was resolved before leaving. After replacing the valve, I asked if it was still leaking, he said "Yes, I'm using right now," as he runs the water. My husband then pointed out to him that the water heater wasn't even on, AND the BIG RED bypass lever was not even disengaged. Jorge then turns it and says, "Yeah, yeah everything is fine." After he left we let the water run ( I needed to shower), the first thing we noticed was a loud buzzing noise, and then sure enough it was still leaking. I called the office to reschedule, he wasn't available until the next day. In the mean time, we are still left with a leaking water heater and now with a loud buzzing noise every time we turn on the hot water. Basically his first trip was pointless. 3.) The next day... He WAS LATE AGAIN. Not just 10 mins or an hour. ... but TWO hours late. Yes 2 hours late. He was suppose to arrive between 10-11am. Waited till about 11:45 am and still no call...from anyone. I called him to ask when he was planning on arriving and he rudely told me to call the office and that he did not know and to not call him on that number. I told him I did call the office yesterday after you left to reschedule; she said you would be here between 10am-11am . (If you don't want anyone to call you on that number then tell people...that was the 3rd time we used that number to contact him at which time he never mentioned it was a problem). If any one should be upset it should be me, because he didn't even fix the water heater leak the first time he was out here, you have been late TWICE, and I have to spend a second day waiting around for his arrival and when I call to find our why he is late, he is rude!?!?! Unbelievable. I called the office again, they tell me he will be here at 1:15pm ...2 hours after the original set time. I have been waiting since 10am for his arrival. At this point I don't even want to have him back, but just so frustrated and just want to be done with it. 4) LATE AGAIN. After saying he will be here at 1:15....it's currently 2:00pm and he is STILL NOT HERE. 5.) Mobile service fee alone is $85 (which we paid in cash). Our last mobile service tech fee was only $50. 6.) Apparently, he has a 1 hour minimum of about $110 an hour, which no one communicated to us before. He tried to pull one over on our Manufactures warranty department and told them it would take an hour for the repair, but they knew it was an easy fix and said they would only cover .5 hours. He then agreed. I would avoid using this guy AT ALL COST if you have a plans or anything to do because Jorge can't seem to be punctual or professional. He also doesn't throughly ensure the issue is fixed before leaving. If you try to contact him after he leaves because he's late, he is rude and annoyed that you are trying to reach him. SERIOUSLY!?! * On a positive note, Megan (the office contact) is very kind and pleasant to speak with. She was actually my first contact with RV Pro and is the reason I had him do the work in the first place. The tech Jorge unfortunately didn't provide the same service that Megan did with her Customer Service. If anyone knows of a reliable, professional RV Tech in San Diego, please message me. We have more work we need/want to have done on our rig and I will not be letting this tech touch our rig in the future. I found out about RV Pro through Mission Bay RV Resort's brochures. I did go into their office (Mission Bay Rv Resort) and told them about my experience with RV Pro. They were very apologetic. I recommend that they remove RV Pros ad for their brochures. +++ update as of 11/26/13....water heater STILL LEAKS! Yup. lol. I will be driving my rig to an actual dealership this time. The new buzzing noise was from the brass fitting, The original was plastic....RV Pro only carries brass fittings. read more

Horrible!!! So my fiancé and I saw their ad on Craigslist for 3 nights and 2 days for the price of 200$ with 300$ deposit and 100$ cleaning few. We knew it sounded to good to be true but we went with it anyway.So we get back from our vacation and clean the crap out of it almost as new, even tho the trailer is almost TEN years old. So we turn it in that Sunday and the next day Monday the owner (don't know name) calls and says there is a dent in the front ,mind you my fiancé is a class A driver &the trailer was in the same place for 3 days in the middle of the desert! So he keeps 200$ because he's insisting that we hit the trailer when it didn't move the whole time !We where planning on renting again for New Years but No way now he lost business from us! I too would give a ZERO if there was such a rating. The patio awning on my motor home is in need of repair. The pin, holding the awning to the leg broke and came out. This caused the tension on the awning to release, making it next to impossible to roll the awning back up. I called and made an appointment to have the pin replaced and tension put back into the awning so it could roll up and down. "Oscar" arrived and after a few minutes told my wife the arms needed replacing and the awning was old and he doubted he would be able to get the parts to fix it. ***The awning was assembled 1/24/2008. The legs were replaced a year ago and the arms are fine with the exception of a small nick out of one of the fasteners that does not affect the operation or safety of the awning*** "Oscar" said he had to go back to his office and search for parts (he needs two pins). He did NOTHING to repair the problem he was there to fix. He did nothing to even attempt to fix the problem. He kept asking if there was a warranty and trying to up-sell a new awning. I called to complain of the poor service (actually NO SERVICE) and was told by the girl answering the phone she would check with "Oscar" and find out what was needed. An hour later, she called back with the same story "Is it being repaired under warranty?" "It needs new arms" I try to give people the benefit of doubt but this is pathetic. A total rip off. $120 to come to my home and do NOTHING except tell me its an old awning and he doubts he can find parts to repair it and how about a new one? WITHOUT ever checking the tension or looking at the problem he was there to repair. I would highly recommend NOT using this service. My experience is they have not a clue and simply want to sell you a new whatever, rather than repair what they were asked to repair. UPDATE: Oscar returned the next day and did the repair I had initially requested. It took him less than 45 minutes to complete the repair. His repair was acceptable and fixed the issue I had with my awning. I was charged an additional $45 for the repair. I changed the rating from one star to two. read more

Aweful! This guy is a JOKE. Stay away. My husband and I have had extensive work done on vintage trailer. So many different contractors over 3 yr period. More recent though struggling with overcharging and leaving to buy parts and being gone for hrs. While still billing me for time out. So,we thought we would try this guy. He comes out to look at black water tank. Seems like he didn't want to get dirty as he was only contractor that didn't get under trailer to look at it. He said he would need us to take it to shop. I told him I would talk to my husband. My husband was agreeable to this but wouldn't be home til after 5 to make the trek down south. We called and set up time (6 to 6:30 pm) for someone to meet and receive trailer. We arrived on time and NO ONE WAS THERE. SO WE TEXT 2 NUMBERS AND CALLED. NOTHING! Needless to say we brought trailer back home and will be taking to dealer... BAD BUSINESS. read more

Our pop out wasn't moving out after arriving at our destination. Jorge came out the next day to assess and then came out a day later to replace the motor for the pop out. He left the job unfinished as the pop out wasn't the same as before and said to contact him to make any adjustments. We tried to schedule several different appointments for him to come back out and finish the job and never did. He stood us up several times and we kept getting the run around from him and the poor lady in the office. I took days off work for him to get stood up which was very frustrating. The other reviews stating Jorge takes your money and runs is entirely accurate. I'm not sure how you can run a small business and operate like this. This is no exaggeration and I would suggest looking for another tech as I will NEVER contact RV pro for service again. read more

i camped at campland for my daughters 15th birthday celebration with about 15 kids in my 40 ft keystone raptor 5th wheel on 1/3/20-1/5/20. i had an electrical issue where the lifts or the pop-outs would not work. I called RV PRO MOBILE on sat 1/6/20 & scheduled a repair visit with a tech & he advised he would be there at 11am + - & advised he would text me prior to arrival. THE TECH NEVER CALLED, TEXTED, OR SHOWED UP EVER!.....i called the office & left 2 more messages with zero results. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN, no updates, calls or texts. They left me high & dry with pop-outs & lifts that could not work!!!! read more

We had a leak from our refrigerator. The technician was arrogant and condescending. The repair was quick,a washer and a little teflon paste, and I watched what he did. He gave a discount for cash. But the repair did not hold for more than a week. I called back and told them I expected them to come back and fix it. But all I got was the run around for several weeks. Their communication skills are terrible. First it was that they thought the entire hose should be replaced. Then after more unreturned calls it was that they had the wrong serial number for the refrigerator. I finally left a message to just refund my money and I would get someone else, but of course they didn't respond to that. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

We drove our fifth wheel from New Jersey to San Diego. When I arrived and the girlfriend had left is was time to do laundry. We are staying at the Mission Bay RV Park. It was Saturday morning and I called a few mobile RV businesses that were listed and suppose to have lots of experience, etc. When I called RV Pro, Jorge's wife answered and immediately handed the phone over to Jorge who was stil half asleep. I explained my problem with my Splendid Washing Machine. He immediately said that he understood the problem but unfortunately for me he didn't work on weekends unless it was an emergency, and being that laundry isn't an emergency, lol, he'll call me back on Monday morning. In the interim I left either telephone messages with other mobile RV businesses or filled out there email request forms. I heard nothing from any other company and by 11am, on Monday I received a return call from Jorge of RV Pro. He understand everything I was saying and was very courteous and extremely professional. We agreed that he would come to Mission Bay Resort Wednesday at 1pm. He would also call before he arrived. Jorge actually did this. He called at about 1215pm and stated that he was on his way. He arrived at 1245 and began to work on the washer. This was no easy task and Jorge Never complained. The washer is a stackable and on the bottom of the dryer. To make matter even more difficult he had to remove the door and molding to where the washer/dryer are. Again, no complaining, moaning, etc. he removed everything, called Splendid and has the part being sent in a few days. He put everything back together and said that he would call as soon has the part arrives. Let me tell you, if you have any issues with your RV and don't want to take your RV to a shop called Jorge at RV Pro. You will not be sorry and at least he will call you back and be straight forward and honest with you. His work so far is above and beyond. He has a great business sense and treats customers like they should be treated. I never met this man before but after one meeting he seems like a man that you want on your A list. For the rest of you mobile RV businesses in San Diego, what in the world is the matter with you? Why would you not give a call back? I do not know what kind of work you do but you have definitely forgotten where you came from. A call back is all I'm asking. That's the right thing to do. Treat others how you want to be treated. The worst service I have encountered since RVing. I have a roof leak and nobody has any luck in finding where it is coming from RV Pro Mobil repair was suppose to come and fix it. They missed the first appointment. I wasn't notified they where not coming. The second time they showed up in the ladder part of the day and did some repair. I asked to take pictures so I could commend them on the work that was done. Still waiting for the photos. I would like to see the work that was done. I am 80 year old and can no longer climb a ladder. Two days later the roof leaked again. I called to get them back. The first call was never returned. The second call, they gave me a date and time to be here. This never happened. I called back again and they set a date a week later. No show, no call. On Nov. 29 th. I returned a call to RV Pro; and talked to "George". He said he would come to the RV and see what can be done. He set a time to be here at 1 pm to 2 pm. No call and no show. We waited around for him and put off our other thing that needed to be done as we had done the other times. If you need any Mobil repair, call somebody else. Do NOT use this RV Rental place. They will NOT do what they say. They do NOT back up what is written on their website. Trailer was disgusting! They did NOT hook up anything, just dropped it off. Trailer toilet overflowed, sink overflowed! Tanks were not drained. Trailer stunk and flies everywhere. Asked to be compensated and did NOTHING about it. WORSE PLACE EVER! Go somewhere else. You will be saving yourself a headache, money and the worse time ever! We were celebrating our anniversary. read more

These people are a rip-off. I had a clogged kitchen sink, however the bathroom and kitchen were draining fine. George comes out, snakes it twice, and still not draining (even though I told him I already tried to snake it). He then decides he needs to go to Home Depot (all the while charging us $100/hr to do so) and buys a simple little cutout which takes him all of about 2 seconds to slice through the ABS pipe and install. After he cut the pipe, we could see that it was clogged and asked if we could clean it out with a stick or something, he says "no, I'm in a hurry" and proceeds to glue it back together - at which point he drips black pipe dope all over our kitchen floor and never even bothers to wipe it up). He then proceeds to tell me that the problem is with our holding tank underneath the RV, and it will be between $1200-$1500 to "bypass" it. I asked him how the holding tank could be the problem if the bathroom sink and shower drain just fine - his answer was, I kid you not, "I don't know, but that's what you need to do" (mentioning that 30 years of experience told him so - notice on the other Yelp reviews he says this alot). I asked him again why we couldn't just clean out the pipe that connects the kitchen to the bathroom sink, and he says "that's not the problem, we need to bypass the holding tank", and of course he needs to come back and reschedule to do this. So he basically charged me $400 to snake a pipe twice, make two cuts in ABS pipe, and glue it back together (which was about 15 minutes of actual labor), and then proceeds to tell me that he's going to need to charge me another $1200-$1500, after which he's not even sure if that will fix the problem. After he left I simply cut open the aforementioned tube that connects kitchen to bathroom, cleaned it out with a stick, and coupled it back together. Took me about 20-30 minutes and everything drains perfectly. Could've cost me $2000 and the problem would not have been fixed, when he could've fixed it instantly when we asked if we could clean out the pipe when he had it cut open. Instead cost me $400 for him to do nothing, and I fixed it myself in a half hour and minimal labor. These people are a scam. DO NOT USE THEM. read more

Jorge was arrogant and diagnosed a problem before even looking at the equipment. He stated I needed a whole new AC system. When I questioned his diagnosing process he became defensive and reported he had been doing this for many years. Turns out a wire had popped out, which I saw him plug in. Even after the AC started working his pride got the best of him. He couldn't apologize or admit he was wrong. Still charged a very high amount for putting in a loose wire. We had a leak in our Class C overhead cab from the rain. This place had the best rate and the owner came out within the hour to diagnose the problem. He came back a short time later with the materials and did the repair. Friendly, professional and reasonably priced. Would recommend and use them again. read more

If we ever need RV service in the San Diego area we know who to call. We had a big problem with an electrical issue on our class A motorhome. The person in dispatch and scheduling was very understanding and helpful. The technician, Guillermo and his coworker were prompt and very professional. They got right to work quickly. They fixed all our issues and even worked with the factory techs to ensure all the components affected were back to specifications. The repairs were completed in a very timely manner. They went over all the details with us. We are extremely happy with this servce and we definatly will recommend this company. Thanks to all we are happy campers again:) read more

I have to give RV pro a poor review. I paid $800 in cash to have an electrical problem fixed. However, the problem not fixed correctly and the Owner will not return my calls. Additionally, i was quoted $300 at first to fix the problem.... However, he realized after 2 hours that he could not fix the problem. He still charged me $300 and then called in two other mechanics who charged $500 more to fix problem. During the repair they must have rewired something wrong because the fuel gauge is stuck on full all the time. RVPRO has not responded to my calls for the last 21 days. read more

He was professional, clean cut, nice, explained the issue and fixed it quickly! I highly recommend Guillermo from RV Pro Mobile Repair Service in a heartbeat. Thanks so much for coming to our rescue and avoiding having to move the trailer to the repair shop. I called Thursday and they made the appointment for Monday, which was great. I was on a waiting list at another repair shop (not mobile) and had an appointment 3-1/2 weeks away from another repair shop in Orange County! I have been in San Diego for the winter months. My toilet foot pedal quit working and my heater went out.on my 2012 Jayco trailer. Called 2 other RV guys. One did a fix on the toilet that didn't hold, the other guy didn't get too excited about having to call the dealer re: warranty. My trailer was still under the 2 yr original warranty. If you need a repair under warranty i tell you, that very few RV guys will work with dealing with the company and waiting to be paid. Jorge (George) of RV Pro is fully licensed with the dealers and will await payment from them. He only asks that the fee to come out be paid up front. He is also the only RV guy I have had out that took the time to call Jayco and Thetford and discuss the issue and get the parts sent directly to him. He also covers extended warranties. He is very professional and very quick at his work and does quality work. He told me he has worked for one of the dealers for over 20 years and it shows. This guy is a qualified and certified technician. His staff is also very good about promply returning calls and scheduling. I would not waster time and money calling anybody but RV Pro. read more

Showed twice without tools. SHowed up a third time without portable generator which we told him he would need. Showed up without notice despite our request to do so to put dogs in yard away. Removed a broken window with rain forcast in the next 12 hours, and did not replace plastic over window opening or mention he left the opening unsecure. Repalced a window with incorrect tinted glass, would not return calls afterward. Failed to adequately clean up glass debris inside the trailer. Came to replace broken door glides without getting all the parts. I don't understand how he can stay in business. read more

I arrived in San Diego to find a hot RV refrigerator & warm food. I called RV Pro Mobile & was told a they do not work evenings and please call the following morning & they would be out. I called at 8am and was told it would be two days. I made the appointment for 8 am two days from time of call. On the day they were a no show. I called and was told it would be 1 pm.
