I just wanted to take a minute to say that this by far is the best vape shop I've visited and I have visited more than I can count. I called yesterday looking for a rather hard coil to locate and what do you know, that had them and at great price too!! Naturally I went in to pick them up. While in the store I spoke to a gentleman named Seth (same person that was over the top helpful on the phone earlier that day) when I went in and he gave me several recommendations regarding some changes that I was contemplating. Truly helpful and very knowledgeable and I never felt like he was rushing me. Today (the day after) I went in with a problem on a tank that I couldn't figure out and thought because he was so helpful yesterday I would stop in and see if he would offer some advice. Wouldn't you know, he did! On top of that he even took a good 30-45 minutes to dissect this problem himself on a device that I didn't even purchase from them! After figuring out the problem I had going on I decided to purchase a tank for another mod I had with me. Seth again took the time to show me and tell me about several options I could go with. With his advice I went with a tank that I'm already in love with. He even gave me a little discount because of the frustration I had with the original issue. Again, not even something purchased through them! I don't often write reviews but with this level of customer service I felt the need. Best vape shop in Richmond. I am pretty much a regular at this point. I stock up every few weeks. But they are super knowledgeable, have a huge inventory of juices and hardware, and a vaping bar where you can check flavors. This is a local business- support them. And if you don't care about that, you will care about the fact that places like Avail only have their own proprietary flavors- many of which are pretty unpalatable. The house-made e-liquids here are amazing. But they also make an effort to get a really good selection of liquids that you can normally only get online. So I'd rather go to a good local business, have the luxury of tasting before I buy (because really, how often do things really match the written description- especially something as subjective as flavor descriptions), and get the product right away, no shipping charge, no waiting. Also really good advice as far as e-cigs, tanks, how to use things, etc. And the inventory stays fresh and up to date. My only quibble is that sometimes products I really like get discontinued. But all in all its a really nice store- comfortable, friendly, easy to shop. Sometimes they get really busy, but I'm often able to run by on my lunchbreak and I'm in and out in a few minutes. While RVA Vapes' selection is decent, I won't be going back. In my last three visits, it was at least 10 minutes before I was asked if I needed anything. This was not because the small store was packed and all employees were helping other customers, but because they all stood around chatting with their buddies and deciding what to order for lunch. When I was approached, they were less than helpful helping me find ejuice I would like, and one or two employees didn't seem knowledgeable enough about their hardware to direct a customer to something that would suit his needs. Had been dealing with Avail Carytown and turned off by them not standing behind their products, questionable knowledge and horrible customer service. RVA Vapes are on the other side of that spectrum from what I experienced on my initial visit. VERY knowledgeable, patient with questions and customer focused. Unorganized juices and overpriced mods. I'd like to support local businesses instead of hopping online, so if the price is reasonable, I will buy from the brick and mortar. However, RVAvapes mods are about 30% higher than online. For example, a $70 Joyetech eGrip at RVAvapes is $45-$50 online. The price isn't even close. As far as the juices, they are in unorganized and hard to read carousels. A layout like Avail is much easier to navigate. I give them stars for the service and knowledgeable staff. read more

Okay. So I think vaping is kinda lame. (No offense to anyone, it's just a personal preference.) BUT. I've been trying to quit smoking. And it's hard guys. The shop is open well designed and has pretty good natural light. There's usually multiple staff members present and I've always gotten great service. I have mainly used them to buy e juice, but they seem pretty knowledgeable in mod repair and I usually see a staff member helping a customer with atomizer or a coil. The juice they make their are high quality and one of my favorites is the special sauce. I see folks hanging out at the vape bars and chat, so a nice friendly store where folks hang out if you are a regular. They sometimes have juices for sale and carry a wide variety. read more

I'm a big fan of this shop. I got my first starter kit here and have kept coming back as a result of the chill and accommodating atmosphere. This shop has definitely come a long way. They now offer a large selection of standard/popular and unique/premium juices to appeal to just about everyone. They also have many in house blends that are worthwhile. This vape shop isn't just a "shop." It's an experience, and a lovely experience! I've been buying e-juice and equipment here for 3 years and the staff here is exceptional! All of them! Even if the store is crowded the staff will spend as much time with you as you require. I actually empathize with them when I enter, as I am quite the babbler. Since my son became ill, it's been my husband who goes here for me now. He is very introverted, quiet, and almost appears anti-social to strangers. But after going to RVA Vapes a couple of times I noticed that it would take him longer and longer to return home.
