The work I needed was a bit complicated, because I needed to retrofit a new LED system onto existing wiring, that ran all throughout existing hardscape and had been cut / not visible in many areas. This was no challenge for Todd and his team, however, and they were able to trace all the existing wiring and plan out the new layout. On top of everything, Todd suggested we move the existing transformer to the complete opposite side of my house, where other utilities sit, so that I don't have an eyesore in my driveway. He provided me several options for lighting and everything was installed quickly and professionally. I'm very happy with the finished product and the level of service / communication from Todd and his team. Our front yard was torn up & not evened out after roto tilling, & there was still a huge amount of thatch left unraked. We called to have them come back. They said it looked good. We said that it did not, and asked them to redo the seeding. They did. When the grass started to come up, we were horrified to find that there were 2 different colors! I placed 2 or 3 phone calls to the company to say that we were very unhappy. Our calls were not returned. I spent all of last Fall re- raking and dethatching my lawn. It was an enormous amount of work, especially as I have a bad back, and am no longer young. When Spring came around this year again, I had to dethatch my lawn again because so much thatch had been left unraked by the company to begin with. I also had to reseed, to try to get the lawn all one color. We specifically told the company that we needed to have our lawn looking great, so that we might have the option of putting the house on the market within a couple of years. This company was highly recommended, so we are very put out and disappointed. We paid a lot of money for the work, & I ended up having to redo everything myself by hand. I am including pictures of the patchwork looking colors of the lawn, as well as the wheelbarrows full of thatch that I raked and hauled back into my woods. Promised he could complete by July 14th. He took $16,000 deposit in May, and then a couple of days later he needed another $6,000. He hired some people for a couple days to break up concrete. He never paid his sub (sprinkler and lighting guy) so I had to pay that out of pocket so they wouldn't rip out all of the sprinkler/lighting work. Another $4k there. My back yard is a complete disaster since he hasn't been back in over a month and won't return my calls/emails/texts. The few trees that he planted are all dead. He busted up my new fence when cutting down a tree that he wasn't supposed to cut down, there's another $1,600 to fix. See pics for before and current. My backyard wasn't even all that bad before, now I'm out $28k with nothing to show for it but a ruined muddy/overgrown back yard.
