Despite my request and despite clearly needing health precautions, he refused to wear a mask. Keep in mind that during an eye exam, he would be breathing on me from mere inches away. Fortunately the other optometrist, Dr. Frannsem, cheerfully wore a mask. Tamara, the woman who helped select frames with me was perfectly willing to put on a mask. If I could rate her separately, it would be five stars! She obviously cares about the patients, and was enormously helpful in finding exactly the right frames for me. Bottom line: if you can't go to another optometrist and have to go to Gregory Optical, make sure you make your appointment with Dr. Frannsem. Even if you don't care about your health-care provider masking up, obviously Carter is in it for the money and not for his the health of the patients.
