I can honestly say that I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience. I only had to wait about 8 to 10 minutes, which is no big deal. They were extremely friendly when I walked in. Honestly even the other people in the waiting room were very nice to me. I told the young man that was going to do my blood draw that I sometimes have a bit of a reaction when I get my blood drawn and he was so understanding, gentle and kind. He chatted with me the entire time and made the experience so much easier. I lived in Boston for a long time and I've gotten my blood drawn at Mass General Hospital many times. I would say that LabCorp did just as good of a job as the best people that ever drew my blood at that hospital. Really excellent experience and I think they've gotten some pretty inaccurate reviews. By opening time, the line had extended to near the building's entrance. Check-in was quick because of the digital stations, and I was called in for the blood draw within 20 minutes. In all, I was impressed by the efficiency I experienced during the visit. Because I had problems accessing online results (on my end, not theirs), I called and had difficulty reaching a live person, so I drove to the office to see if I could get a printed copy of the results there. No such luck, they just gave me a sheet of paper with a list of telephone numbers that I had already tried. Knowing that the results were forwarded to my doctor, I drove to the doctor's office and was finally able to get a printed copy of my blood test results there. So my own personal experience is, getting the blood draw procedure done was easy, and if I were not having computer problems, perhaps getting the results might have been easy as well; but I do wish they had a system in place where patients who have difficulty accessing portal results can easily get it from the office in person if needed, or maybe receive a copy by plain regular email.
