My recent experience has been more than great. For example, Dr. Friedrich has answered all my questions and have changed my past dental experiences from freighting to disappointment to quality and friendly with excellent results. Next, once I was in pain and I called the cell phone number and he actually picked up and answered my question. I will continue to come to him as long as he is in business because he has "bedside manners" and treat his patients like we are special. Visited this office for the first time and it was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I loathe going to the dentist and I turn into a complete baby. I get extremely anxious so I usually push dentist visits off as long as I can. However, a lot of pain brought me to look for a location near me and I found Dr. Friedrichs office. Check-in was easy and fast. Filled one form out and was quickly called back. Jessica got all my X-Rays and listened to all of my complaints. She was awesome and made me feel so comfortable (something that never happens for me in a dentist office). I told her of my anxiety and she mentioned they can provide laughing gas during my cleaning later. When Dr. Friedrich came in to check out my X-Rays he was super personable and thorough in explaining everything he wanted to do. He, too, made me feel so comfortable. He was very polite and reassuring. I don't think I've had any dentist spend as much time as he did explaining options & treatment plan. To prep me for my cleaning, Jessica hooked me up with the laughing gas and gave me a stress ball in each hand. This gesture meant so much to me. I usually clasp my hands so tight they're on the brink of amputation. (No exaggeration) Another sweet lady named Jessica did my cleaning. She checked in multiple times throughout the entire time she was cleaning and I felt sparkling clean afterwards! I felt like everyone I encountered here truly enjoyed what they do and it was tangible by their words & actions. This was probably the best dentist experience I've had. My mother went to Dr Friedrich for as long as I can remember. I've been going 20 years and both my children grew up with him. All twice a year even more for minor work. We are very satisfied with zero complaints. He's very good with children's as well. Always friendly and remembers my who family when I come. Highly recommend his practice! read more

Went in for a routine cleaning, and experienced excellent service. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The hygienist did an excellent job cleaning around some of my permanent hardware. She asked multiple times how it felt to make sure I was content with the cleaning. She was extra careful around a sensitive tooth during the cleaning as well. Dr. Friedrich was very professional and kind. He did a thorough examination and explained everything to me clearly. I did not experience any pressure for dental work that seemed unnecessary. I received great care from the staff, and I couldn't recommend this business more. read more

Dr. F is much better dentist than the staff working for him. And that goes for the receptionist to the dental staff to the hygienist to the folks handling the billing. I am sure he must not pay well if so he could hire better staff. I have been seeing Dr. F for over 10 years and it hasn't gotten better. Every time I see him, unless it is for a cleaning, if I pay for any of the work, you cbet I will have overpaid and will have to wait about 6 months to get the refund after I start pestering them for it. I do get the paperwork from my insurance company and I do look at it and if it says I should not pay more than $X but they charge me more than $X then I am due a refund. They agree but have every excuse in the book to delay refuning the money. I first went to him because the location was great and he was in network. I am thinking of changing dentist after all this time after 4 visits on a temporary crown - can't wait to see what happens with the permanent crown. I am just tired of the hassle. I have more to do with my life than work around the schedule of the staff of Dr. F. read more

Dr. Friedrich is a wonderful dentist. I am his patient and also switched our children (ages ranging from 4-9 years old) to be his patients as well. We have had cavities filled and a tooth pulled and our children still enjoy going back for their cleanings and to see Dr. Friedrich. Best dentist ever! Our family has been going to Dr. Friedrich for 18 years. Besides being a great dentist, Dr. Friedrich is very nice. He does excellent pediatric dentistry and the hygeinists give great cleanings. Staff is friendly and helpful. The staffs at Dr. Friedrich are friendly and I have been looking for a good dentist. I like that they open at 7 am - the main reason why I switched from my previous dentist (I didn't have to take a day off). My first cleaning visit was pleasant and I was impressed with the nice staffs at the office. The second visit that was scheduled at 7 am, the staffs were late and didn't start until 20 minutes later (which made me late for work). During that visit, I was told to come back to do a crown filling for the third molar tooth. My third visit, the dentist didn't show up because there was an internal theft in the company. I waited about an hour and a half before they told me the news and I had to reschedule (late for work again). I decided to come back again just because the hour was convenient. From here, it was all downhill. I remembered I was in the office for over 4 hours. A nice dental hygienist was working on my third molar and she applied a good bit of pressure to my tooth. She was waiting on Dr. Friedrich (he was busy with another client) and it took him forever to come over. They had to do sometime to the tooth but they applied so much pressure to it for a long time. I was literally in tears. All my life, I don't ever recall this long of a procedure for a crown. All I can said is that when I left that office, I couldn't hardly move my achy jar. I then noticed that I couldn't even eat out of the right side of my mouth. When I bite on something like an apple (on the tooth with the new crown), it would send a shooting pain through my mouth. They didn't permanently cement the crown to the tooth because they want to see how it is for a few months. I came back 3 times with each visit complaining complaining the same tooth pain. They did the same thing with each visit by grinding down the crown saying that "its just the bite, let see how it is in three months." Well, its been over a year and I still can't eat on the right side which affect my quality of life. I can't enjoyed eating like I used to and I'm upset that I ever went to that office. I think they crack my tooth by applying to much pressure. Pro: Friendly staffs, nice office, hours of operation. Dr. Friedrich is a nice guy Con: Quality of work is terrible, staffs can be late if you have a 7 am appointment, don't feel that they are knowledgeable. Long procedure- it could be over 4 hours if u are getting a crown. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Friedrich for over 15 years. He has also seen my children and my elderly mother. He has a wonderful, warm personality and he is an excellent dentist. My mother does not hear very well and he took the extra time to make sure she understood what he was saying. He has put crowns in my mouth and filled cavities for all of us as needed. He has never tried to push any extra cosmetic services although he offers a varied assortment of professional whitening and the like. His office is conveniently located and clean. I used to go to Dr. Friedrich and was very happy with his services. I moved and found a dentist a mile away. I didn't want to drive 45 minutes to see Dr. Friedrich. What a mistake!!! I had some problems that my new dentist couldn't take care of and went back to Dr. Friedrich. His staff fit me so I didn't have to wait. He took care of me instantly.. I am sorry I ever made his acquaintance. He is not a dentist to go to if you have good strong teeth because he will try to take them. He did a root canal on me unnecessarily. He tried to take a good tooth by hitting it repeatedly with a metal rod and something that looked like a 1/2 of a razor blade. He told me he was going to open up the tooth so he could see the nerve but he pounded the tooth to death with the metal rod and then told me I was going to be in pain and he wrote me a prescription which I still have. He did this because before I had my teeth cleaned I told him I had felt something because I had bitten on a piece of barbecue and I felt it like on the nerve. After the cleaning there was no pain at all and he took me into another room, stood over me, started pounding my tooth and was literally rocking it back and forth with his rubber gloves on and all of his body weight. He kept asking me if I felt pain and I said no so he kept hitting it to make sure I was going to have some pain.He was ready to do an extraction. This was a perfectly good tooth with no splits and no cavity and he wanted to split it down the middle to see the nerve ??? when it did not even hurt. I think something must have stuck in it from the barbecue but the lady who cleaned my teeth did an excellent job and it did not hurt anymore but he was going to make sure he made it hurt. When I came home and did a google search they said don't move the tooth. Let it rest for a few days. I still have my tooth no thanks to him but he will never see me again. A co-worker of mine told me to stop going to him years ago because he was not a good dentist. I only kept going because of the proximity of his location to my job and the fact that I liked the lady who cleaned my teeth. She did a very good job and she is no longer there. I should have listened to my co-worker.I have my 1st cavity coming in now and I asked him to fill it when I was there and his response to me was, "don't make me do that today"! He didn't want to do that but he wanted to do an extraction which by the way I still have all of my teeth. In my opinion, if he hasn't made any money off of you meaning if he has only done cleanings and x-rays he will figure out a way to get paid and tell you that you need unnecessary procedures done. He was trying to talk me out of my wisdom teeth years ago, still have them and they have not caused me any problems. I have learned there are dentists who try to save teeth. He is not one of them.
