My family and I have given Jett Ferry Dental group many opportunities to change our minds and experience's, yet they've only managed to confirm for us it's time to find another dentist!! The staff is rude and always seem preoccupied. I Scheduled a cleaning, they confirmed twice and when I showed for the appointment they said they had no hygienist! No phone call nothing! No apologies, they couldn't have cared less for my time or inconvenience. When I asked when they could reschedule me, I was told over a month out! I started going to this office in Jan 2019, my dentist was Dr. Matt Wiles. I had a great experience when I had my cleanings and checkups that year, the hygienists were amazing. I went back for my scheduled cleaning August of last year and did not have the same experience. Dr. Wiles is no longer with the office. I chose a new dentist, Dr. Amesha Edwards. She complained while cleaning my teeth the whole time because I have braces...I have to brush and floss my teeth daily and I don't complain. I found it rude considering she would only need to see me once every six months...and the instrument she used to clean my teeth was very uncomfortable. I didn't even have my cleaning done by a hygienist that time (I wish I had), because it was hands down the least pleasurable experience and I didn't feel like my teeth were well cleaned. I went back again last November after having a gum issue to see their periodontist. When I went in, he wasn't even available...I was told he only comes in once a month. I was seen with Dr. Angela Han who was so rough and not at all personable. She wasn't able to do anything to resolve my issue, I was just prescribed antibiotic, and they tried to schedule me to come back the second week of December to see Dr. Alvarez. I don't know what's up with this office but it's gone downhill organization and service-wise. I plan on changing my dental office, I will not be going back. read more

Terrible. I would leave no stars. They will try to charge you for extra uncovered unnecessary "treatments" to up the bill and make more money. They will include uncovered treatments without clearly explaining this even after you have told them you do not want uncovered treatments. What is worse is that when I looked up what I paid $200 extra for, I found articles saying it is at best not very helpful, and at worst, possibly even harmful to my poor gums. If you are getting a scaling/planing, watch out for being charged $50 a quadrant for chlorhexadine rinse. Google it and read the articles yourself and see if you would pay for that. Think about why insurance does not cover it - not mine anyway (MetLife). Further, it could have been a 4 to 6 week Rx that you rinse at home with at a cost of around $5 or less a bottle to buy at Walgreens with goodrx rate. I have not been able to get a response as to why the rinse was beneficial for me to have paid so much for it. They also wanted to do a laser treatment, and for some reason when I said no extra treatments they figured only the laser to skip and not the rinse. So I had tried to make it clear I did not want to include any uncovered treatments, but they still did it anyway by only skipping the laser, not the rinse. I did sign the paper, but not realizing it was still including any treatments outright not covered at all by insurance. I thought I was signing to agree to pay my percentage of COVERED treatments. So find out all treatments/charges BEFORE your appointment so you can do research because the scaling and planing should have cost me $174 with insurance, but I paid $367 instead!!! Also, agree with others about having appointments changed last minute. They originally told me I could see their perio as late as 3:30pm because I work so I would start work extra early that day at 7 am to do it. They called me to say can I do 2pm and I was like I already explained that just to get there for 3:30 I already have to start work at 7am. So NO!!!!! And the perio only comes once a month. But after being hoodwinked into signing to pay for extra charges, I would not come back unless they were paying me or hell froze over. I should have checked the reviews and not come here. Businesses don't change their practices if you agree to keep going to them despite hearing what they do to other people. You've been warned. Go if you still want to or need to as I know it's hard to find a dentist around here. read more

I had the worst customer experience at Jett Ferry Dental in Sandy Springs, GA, not just at a dental practice, but anywhere I've ever been. The office manager, Chauncie Harrison was flat out rude and disrespectful. Others in the office just passed the buck to avoid responsibility. Initially, it was just that they charged me for x-rays when they said they never charge for x-rays, and I had to call multiple times to get this rectified because no one would ever return calls. They blamed it on their call service. This happened twice. The next incident was that I left a message with someone because I needed to verify that they took my new insurance. I never got a return call, but came in for my appt because I had verified with my insurance company that they were in network. When I went in for my appt, they insisted on calling my insurance company to verify network status and then informed me that they were indeed out of network. I got upset because I had planned my day to set aside time for the appt. Plus, if someone had returned my call, then this could have been avoided. Once again, they passed the buck and blamed it on their call service. I informed them that this was the 3rd time someone has used that excuse and that they needed to do something to fix the problem, not just keep blaming the call service. Get a new call service, then. Amirite? Turns out they actually are in network with my insurance, so I scheduled another appt for a cleaning. I also got a crown there recently. The dentist was nice enough, but the gums around that tooth have been bleeding since I got the crown. Plus the crown has a rough surface. The dentist tried to buff out the crown but it is still rough and she said the bleeding was natural (which it most certainly is not) and it should eventually stop, which it has not. So, I called to make an appt to get it evaluated and explained that I had lost confidence in the dentist for stating that that amount of bleeding was normal. Before I could ask if there was another dentist that could see me, the office manager Chauncie Harrison told me that I didn't have to come back to the practice. That felt like a big eff off to me. No apologies, no concern. She actually tried to tell me that I probably had periodontal disease and I should go see a periodontist. She's not even a dental health professional. She's an office manager. Why the heck is she giving me advice about my teeth? There was a previous time when I was there that a man, who was clearly in a lot of pain as he was holding his mouth and moaning in pain, was having trouble using their tablet to sign in. No one from the staff offered to help him. Just a horrible staff all around. Save yourself the headache and go to a dental practice where the people care about you. read more

My boyfriend got his wisdom teeth removed a few weeks ago by Dr. Williams. Following the MAJOR procedure, he was not given written post-operative instructions. Unacceptable. He was in excruciating pain following the procedure and we had to go to a dental urgent care to seek help. He then ran out of his pain medication and called the exchange line to ask for a refill. They never called in the refill for the proper medication. At the urgent care, he was advised to follow up with his doctor. He called you all to schedule an URGENT appointment, as his pain was intolerable. Staff who answered the phone could care less. The appointment time she stated was available was unsatisfactory. After pleading with her and explaining how much pain he was in, she still was unable to accommodate. She did NOT care and sounded very nonchalant (she was on speaker phone, I heard the entire conversation). As a result of the poor service here, we went to a different dental provider who was able to fit him in early that same day. read more

Hands down THE BEST dentistry I have EVER encountered! I must say Dr. Wiles is truly gifted and extremely talented in his profession. He gave me back my confidence after all of the years trying to hide my teeth from any cameras. I went to Jett Ferry for Veneers and the check in process to getting my final veneers on was fantastic. Dr. Wiles ensured that if I was not satisfy with the look of my teeth, he would literally go above and beyond to achieve the perfect smile I could ever dreamt for....(he did it)! In addition, I was afraid I wouldn't get my veneers on before graduation, which was in two weeks, but Dr. Wiles and his assistant stayed after office hours just so I can get something on before I walked across that stage. Horrible Dentists at this office. I have had the worst experience with these dentists. The dental procedures performed on my teeth have caused me to loose 2 of my teeth cause dentist, Dr. Wiles used too much pressure and cracked my tooth. I went to another dentist that sent me to two specialists, an endodontist and periodontist and the corrective work will cost me $20k + Jett Ferry Dental refuses to assist me in any way. I had been a customer of this office before it got sold (over 5 years) and have witnessed how their customer service has declined ever since. They will not get another penny of my hard earn dollars as they don't value me as a customer/ patient. I have a very busy travel schedule and they cancel my appointments on a whim and on short notice. Most recently they canceled an appointment scheduled 6 months out and never call to reschedule. Even after I called, complained and told them how difficult it was for me to make time in my scheduled; they promised not to jerk me around again. Yet here they go again. Additionally, they lack the skills to perform oral surgery. I sat for hours in their chair while the experimented on me while I slowly bled out. Had the most amazing experience. I generally despise the dentist but I immediately connected with the staff. Briana assisted me first, she was very careful and curteous to my needs. Erica was my dental hygienists, she was very knowledgeable! I felt that she gave optimal care and made me feel comfortable. Alissa helped me with my insurance and finances, she was incredible at explaining my plan and helping determine my best financial options. And finally Dr. Edwards, she was extremely personable. I felt that Dr. Edwards cared about my dental health and gave me the best options for treatment. All of the staff was very friendly. I was checked in and out quickly. Absolutely WORST dentist office & customer service EVERR!!! The receptionists were distracted by their phones when I arrived, so I had to get their attention. The scheduling is absolutely pathetic. I came in April 19, after I had waited over a month for an appointment, and they didn't even clean my teeth. They only took a million x-rays only to tell me what I needed done. Then they set me an appointment to come in to get them cleaned on May 26!!! Over an entire month later!!! I also needed a bridge installed, that cost over $4,000 at this location... but the manager said she didn't have the billing codes. The manager, Constance, is extremely unprofessional & should even be managing a grocery store!! She told me she'd call me back the very next day, and never did. Then when I called back 4 days later...she STILL hadn't got the pricing information I needed so i can schedule an appt to get the "bridge" put in my mouth. Every time I called, the receptionist acted as if I was "bothering" her, & they still didn't have the information. I came in almost 2weeks later...and they STILL don't have the price codes. I was flabbergasted at this behavior, being that this dentist is in an upscale neighborhood, but the customer service is purely ghetto & inhumane. I feel as if I was treated as a minority...& I STILL haven't received any calls or pricing options. I will let ALL of my teeth fall out of my mouth before I ever set my big toe in this piece of trash dental office any more. read more

this is the worst place that I ever seen in my life! my wife needs root canal treatment. we went our dentist to our neigborhood for getting help from them. they did their pre - liminary examination and x-ray , after that told us we need to get root canal treatment but they dont have this service. so lead us to somewhere we can the root canal treatment. that`s why we found this place and explain our situation that we already pass some steps in this progress, we only need their help about root canal. they set us an appointment. when we asked that we can share our previous pre liminary examination result with them they said they don`t need them. for next week and before we go there they change our appointment time from 1 pm to 3 pm and just send a message about it. no call no nothing. we say ok, during the appointment day they send another msg around 1 pm, that we can come after 1 pm, no need to wait till 3 pm.( most unprefessional attitude) we ve been in there at 3 pm. After all these phone call and explanation on the phone why we are reach them, they offer us another x-ray and pre-liminary examination about our problem. once we explain that we don`t want to get another x-ray because we have 2 weeks old new born baby, the lady in the front desk told us that their root canal specialist are not in the office and they will not able to get appointment until next october! I don't even know where to begin! all I can say is don't walk, but RUN AWAY from this horrible dental office! They have cancelled on me and my children THREE times! Two of those times I didn't find out until I arrived. They have one hygienist, so it takes another three months to cancel. Today was the final straw. Stay Away! I got up an left ..... Before appointment was finished! Here is why. Due to COVIV-19, I requested the forms to be emailed so I could fill them out, and send back BEFERE APPOINTMENT! But even though I fill out forms, and emailed them back, after I arrived, they kept me in the waiting room, for 30 minutes. Several people came in during the time, to walk near me. WOW. Was I becoming nervous about COVID-19, I finally said "I can't wait any longer". So then the x-ray technician came in and she was so bad, she had to re-take an X-ray, so I said "wait minute ..... are you sure you can handle this? Then the dentist came in, and then some random guy (supposedly another x-ray tech)to take the x-ray over that the women could not get. I visited the office today for a cleaning and exam. Low and behold I needed more work done(which I knew and was prepared). I ended up getting a crown, fillings and a cleaning. I hadn't been to the dentist since 2010 so my primary concern was to get a really good cleaning and some fillings done...BOY was I satisfied!!! If I could give "0" stars, I would !My experience with this office was nothing more than a money maker for them. First of all, if you're a new patient and want a cleaning, they won't do a general cleaning without seeing you first. Ok, I can understand that. (Although I've never heard of that before). I was going to a few different dentists over the years but needed to change due to a different insurance. When they did the scaling to see how deep my pockets were, she kept getting 4's and 5's and a few 6's. I've never had that. At my age (70's) I've had great teeth all my life. She scared me and talked me into getting this huge treatment and after my insurance covered it, it cost me over $700. Then, when I went back every three months for a cleaning, they said they had to do a deep cleaning which costs a fortune. (I forgot exactly how much but it was about $100 more than a regular cleaning). When I went back again for the next cleaning in three months, she told me again I had deep pockets of 4's and 5's. That's when I decided to leave her. I went to another dentist (a friend of mine) who told me she was just out to charge the patient more. Sure, why not? I wouldn't know! When I got my records, it said I haven't been to a dentist in 1- 2 years. I go religiously every three months and can prove it! My dentist prior to seeing her and after seeing her all say the same thing....My pockets are 1, 2, and a few 3's. I would not recommend her to a dog as she may know how to treat teeth, but she's 100% out to scam the patient! When I gave the x-rays she originally took to my new dentist (and they were taken at my first appointment with nothing being done as yet), he told me my gums were in excellent condition! read more

VERY unprofessional office staff - treat patients very poorly. I have never been treated or talked to the way I have the way I have at this office. The Dentist was nice, but after 2nd opinions due to issues with my crown popping off several times unsure of the quality of work. I was told I received a ceramic crown, but I got another at a different office and the two crowns are of completely different quality. My other crown has not popped off ever. I am currently facing more charges and/or losing my tooth and Jett Ferry refuses to look at their work. I have never heard of such a thing and I work in the medical field nor would I ever treat a patient this way - and I did speak with the office manager who was very uncouth and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for better quality work and service. read more

Jett Ferry is in-network for my insurance, I am also an EMPLOYEE. I deal with Claims and PRETREATMENT PLANS all day every day. When I requested a pretreatment plan be sent to my insurance, the woman gave me major ATTITUDE. We don't do authorizations. Clearly, she does not know the difference between a Pre Auth and a Pretreatment Plan, and I do, I WORK for the INSURANCE COMPANY. The office estimate is laughable, almost 1700.00 for Periodontics that I am covered 100% for. To further make a fool of herself, she had the audacity to say to me, "let me check for your Deductible". There isn't one, clearly, she did not check my BENEFITS. Then she said, "That will be 81.00 for the Panoramic Xray". I said, " I AM COVERED 100% FOR ALL XRAYS, CHECK MY BENEFITS, AND SHE REFUSED. I opened my online policy and showed her D0330 covered 100%. At that moment I knew I would not be returning. I really felt comfortable with Dr. Edwards, but there is NO WAY I am putting out that kind of money when I am COVERED AT 100%. OUTRAGEOUS. read more

Every time I come In there are new faces. With new faces you get different personalities so although sometimes I come In and it's a great experience other times the experience is not so great. They take a long time. I typically sit in the waiting room for 20-30 minutes. I have Been trying to get information for braces for the longest. The last time I was Here (6monthe ago) I was Told it would take her 30 minutes to look up the information so they would email it. No email.. today i am here and new faces. I went to the restroom and everyone I walked Past I said Excuse my but one nurse or assistant must not have heard me because her unprofessional attitude up and down turn around look she gave me said it all. Typically there are younger nurses working here so maybe their professionalism isn't quite there Maybe that's something they should train on because if I decided To snap back at her there would have been a big issue. Maybe train on professionalism in the workplace because clearly they need that. I'm just glad I 'm not the person to let her negative ugly attitude determine my response. read more
