Here's why: PRODUCT OUTPUT: Ultimately, what you care about most is the photographs that get produced, and Kevin's are of the highest quality. They are the perfect balance of art and beauty without being too dramatic and over the top. He's particularly good at capturing candids, which was a major reason we hired him. Several of my friends complimented his work when they saw our photos, and one friend even said that seeing our photos made her really regret her own wedding photographer choice. The album he made for us was gorgeous and really went above and beyond what I've seen in other albums. I have been so proud to show people our wedding photos, and that is thanks to Kevin. FLEXIBILITY: Outstanding. I had so many tiny little requests and Kevin readily accommodated every single one, from planning things beforehand to tinkering with the photos after. He was so patient with my frequent indecisiveness and when we took forever to pick photos for our album. I am pretty sure we actually exceeded the amount of time specified in the contract and he never gave us a hard time about it (or anything). RELIABILITY/FOLLOW THROUGH: Excellent. Every time we asked Kevin to do something, he did it, exactly as we'd asked. The peace of mind of knowing we could count on him was wonderful on our wedding day. He adhered to our schedule, made sure to capture all of the photos we had planned to take, and respected our requests when certain people asked not to be photographed, etc. COST: You get what you pay for. We found his rates to be comparable to other photographers of his quality (actually, his rates were less than some others we felt were of equal quality). He also doesn't nickel and dime you, which is great. He's very up front about how much everything costs and doesn't deviate from that. If anything, he gives you more than you pay for (like the slideshow you can send to friends and family!). COMMUNICATION: Pretty good. Sometimes he takes a few days to reply to emails, but nothing beyond the realm of what's reasonable, and I was no better, so I can't complain. When we first met him this made me a little nervous (because I didn't yet know how reliable he is), so if you have this experience, definitely don't hold it against him. PERSONABLENESS/PROFESSIONALISM: Awesome. Kevin is an easy-going guy that we found ourselves very comfortable with from the get-go. We met with three different photographers after whittling down our list, and although we liked all three, we both knew that Kevin was our guy after talking to him. He is very respectful and did an outstanding job of being unobtrusive during the wedding--we hardly noticed him (or his assistant) at all. This is something you should not skimp out on its memories you will cherish for a lifetime! Eric takes photos that you would never even think of! I had, so far as I knew, already hired Snap! to photograph my wedding, until they pulled a bait-and-switch. After I had spoken with a member of their team, agreed via email that I would hire her, received an email response back about how exited she were to work with me, and another email indicating from the company's owner telling me a contract would be sent out to me first thing the next day, I instead ultimately received a curt email letting me know that another couple had signed a contract for my same date that very morning and so no one from their team was available to work with me. Every other photographer I've spoken with has been kind enough to let me know when someone else even inquired about their availability on my date, while Snap! never indicated to me at all that anyone else had asked about that date, let alone that there was another contract being drafted or already floating out there, ready to be signed by another unsuspecting couple. They are totally unprofessional (not even returning my phone call, just responding with brief emails) and I would not recommend them to anyone.

John was fully onboard and loved the idea and suggested places to ensure that Oscar would not be overwhelmed by crowds but also would give us the fall backdrop that we were looking for. His photos always come out perfect, even when I don't have any idea what he's doing or why. This is why Tom makes such an amazing photographer. He will sit and listen to what I want in my shoot, how I want my pictures to turn out, and he ALWAYS delivers. I've used Tom for all of my important events and recommend him to everyone I know.
