It was in operation for over 15 years, took funds from a variety of sources for pie-in -the-sky investments that never materialized all while the several executives running it lived cushy lives. Customers and other stakeholders were left empty handed while Karls talked glowingly year after year of the opportunities and major success just over the horizon. It's unknown what happened to funds the customers and others gave to the firm over the years because the firm just vanished with no accounting. If they are somehow still in business, my advice is stay away.
