Dr. Wilgus is as good as it gets. He is masterful in his craft. Several years ago he fixed a few fillings that were not done properly. Usually the process of having someone dig around in your mouth is less than enjoyable but he has a magical way of making it painless and believe it or not, joyful. It's rare I am laughing while getting a filling. I've recently attempted to go to a new dentist in the East Bay where I now live and after one visit I quickly found my way back in Sac. First off, I was a patient there for 29 years. During a pandemic they chose to take advantage of people. NEVER did we sign any papers stating that we now have to pay 50% of whatever is leftover from insurance payout. They stated that the papers were signed 2 years ago. Which is false because we have records stating we finished paying off our last payment in October of 2019. My family and I are torn because we have been with them since forever, but now we are thinking of taking legal action against them. I have been sitting here in pain since October. The ONLY TWO OPTIONS THEY GAVE ME were to run my credit for some bull crap "pay later" system, or to put up 50%, and pay the other half in 2 weeks. So you mean to tell me that money is my only option? They did not even offer me pain medication. The only thing that kept getting mentioned was the money. You cannot get over on people who are watching their money CLOSELY due to what's going on in the world. Its very sad to see zero compassion from these people who claim to care about their patients. To have your patient call you crying because she can feel the open nerve pain spider into the side of her face...and you only offer PAYMENT plans as a means of fixing it? very sad. Not to mention... Ryan Wilgus allowed some other dentist to take over his work on MY teeth. I did not know this person, was not told that I would be having someone different, was not communicated with AT ALL. Pretty sure its the tooth he worked on but why tell them? Let me tell my lawyer. So please, do not go here unless you plan on going broke. Do not go broke trying to make sure someone else has a full paycheck, while yours is not. DO NOT LET PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC!! read more

Ryan Wilgus does a great job all the time. He is always friendly and pleasant, and he has always done a great job at fixing any problems my teeth have had. He recently fixed a problem our oldest daughter had that was the result of another dentist's incompetence I would recommend him without hesitation. read more

Dr. Wilgus is by far my favorite Dentist I've ever had. He is always in a good mood and the staff are amazing as well... you can tell he takes care of all of his patients and his team. You will not walk into a more comfortable medical/dental office . I chipped my tooth as a kid and had it fixed and 15 years went by and it had discolored a little and was bothering me. Dr. Wilgus fixed my tooth and made it beautiful again.. I even saw him in the grocery store shortly after and he stopped and said hello and asked how I was and my tooth... I love him! I highly recommend Dr. Ryan Wilgus and his staff. They really take good care of their patients! Dr. Wilgus is very friendly and easy to talk with. Over the years I have been to many dentists, but none of them explained why my gums were receding, even though I floss and my gums don't bleed. Turns out that I clench and grind my teeth at night which caused my gum damage. I was easily fitted for a night guard at the office. . None of the dentists I have seen in the past ever explained to me that that was the reason my gums were receding so badly. I am SO glad that I found Dr. Wilgus! read more

Dr. Wilgus was my third try for a dentist here in California. He is the best - wish i had discovered him first! He had to correct a bad piece for work from another dentist: a crown which was mishapened and miscolored. The result was perfect. Dr. Wilgus knows his stuff, AND he charges less that the other dentists I went to who were not proficient. I am leaving California, and Dr. Wilgus is one of the few things (people!) The Dentist. Two words NO ONE wants to hear, talk about or even think about. Needless to say I was devastated when my dentist of 30 years retired and I had to find a new one. On a recommendation I went to see Dr. Wilgus. I was not looking forward to it to say the least. However, as soon as I walked into the door I was set at ease. The staff was so friendly and efficent. If you're scared of the dentist, or have not gone to the dentist in years since childhood, THIS IS THE DENTAL CLINIC YOU'LL HAVE TO GO TO!!!!!!! Dr. Wilgus is AMAAAAAAZING! And allll his staffs are the best! They give you the greatest, warmest, and best services! you'll always feel welcomed and actually ENJOY coming to the dentist! I was afraid of going to the dentist since it's been years! but after coming here, I literally grew with this dental office, and will continue to! I've gotten so many different works done here and glad I didn't go to a cosmetic dental place! I've recommended SO many people to come here! SO COME HERE! believe me! Hahahahaha If you got kids bring them here also! they're so friendly and kind, your kids would not be scared! While getting work done on my teethe(s) I've heard the way they greeted and played with the kids to feel comfortable! (They even played with the child of the patient or her other kids while they were getting work done!) They're super GENEROUS and YOU WILL NOT REGRET COMING HERE! They give you many options to choose from and explains everything so thoroughly that you'll understand. Dr Wilgus and his staff are AMAZING!!! I went to him for work that other dentists insisted I have an extraction for. It took several visits but, Dr. Wilgus was able to get it done! The time it took wasn't his fault either. I have curly roots and extra roots that rap up around each other so, we had to wait in between for antibiotics to take effect, etc. It was such a difficult case, most dentists give up but, not Dr.Wilgus, he does whatever it takes! He is so easy going and likable (as is all of the staff). He gave me a treatment plan that made sense and he also encouraged my input as well. Whenever I have had work there, he has gotten it done so quickly! He moves from room to room expertly and always remembers exactly what he is doing and at what point in the procedure he is. I have been to some dentists who forgot who I was so, it's refreshing! He also never over sells you with what treatment he thinks should be done. He gives several different options and ideas but, lets you chose what works best for you. I can't say enough good things about Dr Wilgus and his staff, they are truly the best! read more
