I walk in and get sat in a chair immediately, the gentleman asked if I wanted a fade and I told him no I was looking more for a skin cut around the sides and back of my head and keep the top. Think Ranga from Vikings. I actually showed him the picture and he made sure it's what I wanted before he went to work. Although we didn't talk the environment had the proper barber babble, tv and music mix that made it seem lively. Haircut: 10/10, the barber nailed it, took his time, went through to make sure everything was lined up and was as close to skin as possible outside of literally razor shaving it. He even trimmed and lined up my beard as well so it's all a nice smooth haircut and touch up. Price was Beyond reasonable as well. If I'm ever in town and need a cut this will be the first place I lookup for sure.

When I found out some of the guys that used to work at the Shoppingtown Barber Shop were starting their own place, I was excited. The new location is beautiful with new chairs, wooden supply areas, and a nice cooler for bottles of water and the like. The guys also started selling their own hair products, and I can happily report their paste hair gel is excellent. Cuts are still $15 which also gets you a warm shave of your neck/ear area. They also offer a beard shave or trimming which I believe costs a little extra. Give these guys a look - they are in the Guitar Center Plaza if you're having trouble finding them based on the address.

I sent out a recommendation request through my local FB community page and by far Kasson Road Barber Shop was the overwhelming suggestion. My overall experience was exactly what I was looking for. A Real Barbershop where they know how to give a good men's cut. Both my Son and I got cuts today and each Barber did an outstanding job. Great service, outstanding cuts and reasonable prices. I will be back, this is now my new local Barber. I'd advise YELPERs to overlook the 2 other reviews and try the place out for yourself and firm your own opinion.
