A nice lady Jaime connected me to the service Manager Myron. From the start, he was very helpful and quoted me a reasonable price. After my boat was taken to the Fort Myers Marine, within a few hours, I received a call from Manager Myron, informing me that my boat did not require a major repair service, which I thought I needed. I was impressed with his honesty. He recommended other minor repairs for the boat. He gave me the best price possible for various repairs and services. My boat was quickly fixed and within a day, I was back on the water. While I was testing my new Jack Plate, I was having some electrical issues. Whenever I called him, which was several times, he was always kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. With his proper guidance, I was able to fix all the minor issues. He was so helpful. Wherever I called the office staff, they were all friendly and made me feel I was never a bother. I was SUPER satisfied with Fort Myers Marine and I believe I found the right boat service company for my boat. Manager Myron was very honest, professional, super knowledgeable, and so caring. If you ever need service on your boat, I highly recommend Manage Myron at the Fort Myers Marine! : )

If you ever think about buying a boat from Fish Tale in Fort Myers, please think again!…read more Especially, if Joe Davis is going to be your sale man "RUN". Run as fast out of there as you can. Joe Davis, he is a con artist and Ray Jahn is a liar. I do believe that they all work as a team here. Its really sad that they have such a nice place to have such horrible customer service. The long version is below: My wife and I walked in there 2 months ago to look at there use inventory and the minutes they knew this, NO ONE want to help us. As if we were bothering them. The one sale man who sit in the front on the left as you entering the dealer wanted to send us else where! After we were there for a solid 15 minutes and being passed on to a few sale man, we were helped by JOE DAVIS. We made a deal on a used Grady White and were set up for a sea trial. JOE DAVIS, showed up an hour and 20 minutes late for 1st impression. If I did not like the Grady White as much as I did, I could had walked from that deal already. On the day I came by to pick up the boat with my brand new trailer, Joe Davis was a spotter on port side for the forklift guy. The gentleman who operated the forklift had set my new purchased boat on the trailer based on his direction and scratched the hell out of the keel ( 4 inches long with a 1/2 inch deep in the fiberglass). People make mistakes and I get it. I kept cool and did not even show any frustration at all because I felt really bad for what just happened. The forklift guy offered to get my boat keel fixed and was very apologetic while Joe Davis was just standing not saying a word and act like as if it was the forklift guy's fault. Since Chris ( the fiberglass man) is going to fix my gel coat, I recalled asking them mix up some extra gel coat and fix My other scratches on the back of the boat for a fee. Joe Davis exact word was " Hey, don't worry about it, I will take care all of it for you"! I got the impression that he felt bad for what had happened and he would do this as a return for his screwups. One week later, I was told my boat was ready for pickup. I came by to pick up my boat and found that the gel coat on the keel was awful and non of other scratches were fixed. As if Joe himself had just mixed up a batch of gel coat and slapped it in there and called it done. I showed him the sloppy gel coat job and also mentioned about the unfinished repairs on other scratches. Joe Davis was disbelieve of all the things We found and promised for a 2nd time that it will be done by next week. Prior to this Grady White deal, I brought my old boat (185 Mako CC) in for them to sell on a consignment. I also ask to have them install a keel guard for me using my keel guard that I brought in. I recalled asking Joe Davis what was their procedure on consignment sale and he told me that he will charge 10% of the purchase price and there was no other fees! Another week went by and it's still not finished due to their busy schedule. The following Thursday I was told the boat is ready for pickup. Upon a rival, I was told to pay my bill and on that bill, I was charged $100 for the keel guard installation and $150 for a compression test! When I asked him about the unknown charged for the compression test, he was very rude about it with a temper tantrum. He went on about a list of things that he had been doing for me as a favor and that he was too tired doing things for me for free. Further more, he stated that if I can't even pay $150 bucks for the compression test then I can just forget it and take my boat else where. I asked him what did he do for me for free and what favors that he claimed he was too tired of do for me? He could not give me any straight answer on any of it. Too bad Google limits on characters or I would tell my long version! Ray Jahn (GM), he is a liar and I think they are all related some how to one another here. So they do work together as a crooked team. If you are not spending lots of money here then you are a bother to them. $60,000 was not good enough to them.

From a Boat Seller…read more First off let me say that I am not one to typically write a negative review, go ahead and check my other reviews. I received a call from Bonita Boat Center in October of 2018 telling me that they had seen my Ad on BoatTrader.com and that they were looking for boats like mine as it was an older affordable model (under $20k). I was told that typically they would sell a boat like mine in 7-10 days. Needless to say I was skeptical as I had been marketing my boat for 3 months online, but they have a retail location with lots of drive by traffic, they have customers that come in not realizing how much a new boat is and they offer financing. Since I was going to be moving from the area in the 60 days I decided to give them a try. First I needed to pay $150 to have the boat transported to their location as I did not have a trailer and I needed to pay their fee of $500 to have the boat inspected by one of their mechanics so they know what they are selling. Ok that is on the high-end but acceptable. The fee to list my boat was 10% or a flat fee of $2,500 whichever is more. The boat was picked up on 11/9/18 and delivered to them by a third party as they did not have anyone ot come and get it due to the Boat Show that weekend. A week later I was told that the boat had been inspected and that everything looked fine and we agreed to list it for $18,400. I specifically asked if this was a reasonable price to ask as I had not gotten any action at this price range and was told Sure let's start there and expect to sell it in the $16,500 range OK. Pictures were taken and the boat was listed for sale on their site and other sites as promised. However the pictures of my boat that was detailed just before being delivered to them showed the dirt and black scuff marks all over from when they "inspected" the boat. I asked for them to be retaken and they never were. After 60 days of no action we dropped the boat down to $17,900, then $16,900 and finally to $15,900 on 3/1 almost 3.5 months after they had picked up the boat. Finally on 3/18/19 we get an offer and settle on $13,350 as is I am not going any lower. I then come to find out on 3/21/19 that the buyer is out of town and they needed to get a trailer ordered for him which will take a week or less. I am told at this point that the deal should be completed in a week or less. 3/29/19 the buyer shows up to sea-trial the boat which has now been sitting for 4.5 months. During the sea-trial the GPS fish finder, radio and baitwell pump don't work, remember everything was working when I delivered the boat to them and it was inspected. SO now we have to drop the sales price another $1,000 to close the deal. Jeff the salesman did agree to drop their commission to $2,000 to save the deal. I am so frustrated by this point that I say whatever just get the deal closed. 4/1/2019 they have misplaced the power of attorney for the title work and payoff. 4/9/19 I am told the bank took 10 days to get them the payoff, how about someone follow-up after not getting it after a day or two, I ended up having to call the bank. I am told Check is being sent FedEx today to the bank and as soon as they have clear title they will send me my check for the balance. 4/22/19 where is my check? They will check on it with accounting. I get a call from the CFO and am told they have employee issues and he will get this taken care of for me, he is unaware of the $2,000 vs $2,500 commission as promised by Jeff my salesman. 4/26/19 get a call from the CFO "the check is in the mail" for the correct amount. 5/2/19 Still no check where is it? Am I ever going to get paid? 5/10/2019 I finally get my check. So, 6 months to the day I finally got paid net 75% of what I was told I could expect to get for the boat. I give Bonita Boat Center or Boat Junkie 2 of 5 stars based on expectations that were set by them, time frames, total disorganization and an overall blah experience. I know there are many happy customers I am just not one of them.

Seller beware! I was called by BBC to discuss my boat for sale on Craigslist. The nice woman…read moreassured me I could sell the boat thru them in 10 days for close to my Craigslist price so I went for the offer. They charged me to pick up and also to inspect the boat. $700. Then the mechanic calls with very bad news on the condition of my boat. It is going to need several thousand dollars of work to make it sellable. Big expense I did not plan on. But now they have my boat and a signed agreement so I'm stuck with using them. Then they call me on the weekend and I'm in luck. A wholesaler is coming in Monday and is looking for boats like mine. Of course his low ball offer is horrible but by now I am so frustrated I just want it all to stop. I agree to sell it to him at 1/3 of what I should have gotten for it. I learned my lesson. There are land sharks at BBC.
