My raison d'être is Commissioner of Deeds another re-appointment filing and payment, but in-person visit. The fee for filing the signature card is $10.00. I did not need an appointment for in-person re-appointment submission and payment. The Notary Department is located in room 106 next to the Cashier. Four stars, the clerk at the Notary Department window was inexperience who pawn to passed me to someone as an animated object who is more experienced to enter my blue signature card in the court system. I was instructed to go to the Cashier window for my filing fee payment followed by a subsequent instruction to return to the Notary Department window. What?? Why do I have to return to the Notary Department window again? I did received a minuscule sales receipt. Queens County Clerk's Office is a nice government building. It is ADA accessible by a ramp at the rear entrance through a parking lot on 88th Avenue at 148th Street between 89th Avenue. The steps are abundant, but I took my sweet time climbing high. Be prepared to enter through a metal detector for security (but not detailed like TSA airport style to remove shoes). The artwork for the greenish circle disc is somewhat appealing as it appeared very weathered with time and space from the elements. I highly admire the medium circle concrete stumps where each are inscribed locales names of Queens County: Ozone Park, Howard Beach, Richmond Hill, Cambria Heights, Sunnyside, Woodside, Astoria, Corona, Fresh Meadows, Long Island City, Briarwood, Ridgewood, Forest Hills, Rego Park, Woodhaven, Elmhurst, Bayside, Flushing, Hollis, Kew Gardens, Maspeth, Jamaica, The Rockaways. However, I think many other Queens locales or vicinities are missing: Hunters Point, Tudor Village, Glendale, Jackson Heights, College Point, Douglaston, Little Neck, Queensboro Hill, Jamaica Estates, Floral Park, Auburndale, Pomonok, Hillcrest, Glen Oaks, Whitestone, St. Albans, Laurelton, Queens Village, Rosedale, and Springfield Gardens, et al. We were in and out in fifteen minutes. There was no line. NO LINE. When one of the windows opened up, we stepped up talked to a nice young gentleman who swiftly took our information and payment, and handed us a marriage license in return. Not even a little muss, nor was their a hint of fuss. I suppose it's only fitting that it was this simple to get our marriage license...because after all, isn't that what they say about marriage? That it's really easy, and you don't have to work at it at all?

So when you there go and speak to the prosecutor first, this will save you bunch of time. Don't expect to leave before 1pm if you don't have a lawyer

Though my public defender was late, the judge keeps things amusing with every case. If your sincere and smart and show you know what you did and give respect, hes all for helping you.

It keeps my toddler entertained for quite some time and helps burn all that crazy toddler energy. In addition there is a small spray park that is open during the summer months. Small kids love it. It's $1/pp to enter though. Should really be free since its a Municipal park. There is also a nice water fountain and a Amphitheater that hosts summer concerts and such. Across the street, there is a basketball court with a few hoops. One caveat, no animals are allowed so don't plan on bringing your dog with you.

It sucks to press on the button of your floor to see it not work and then you have to tell people to move aside so you have space to press the button on other other working side. On the other side of the pond is a very fun kids playground with matted rubber ground for safety and so many fun interactive activities. Street parking, public restrooms, and dogs are allowed. The very last morsel was taken by one geese that miffed another geese and so it chase the other with aggression. Birds can be pretty brutal and they were quite huge so I had to stay away. What an unfortunate experience. Besides the lake, there's also a beautiful playground, picnic tables, a sports field and tennis courts. The Heckscher Museum of Art can also be found on the grounds as well as a September 11 Memorial. It is definitely worth a visit. There is decent amount of parking spaces all around the park for ease of access too.
