Great friendly service at a reasonable price. I stopped in for an oil change and they took care of it right away. Car was overheating so a friend in the area recommended to go to Ryle's so they could take a look. I called since it was 4:30 and they closed at 6 but the owner said it was fine and to bring it in. Brought it there and within 30 minutes he was able to diagnosed the issue. He quoted me a price that was absurd to hear after I heard the job he had to do. A friend recommended this place to me when my AC stopped working. When I pulled up he saw that I had a huge scratch on my bumper and he buffed it out with no charge. They started working on the AC and saw I had a radiator hose loose that was causing a leak and fixed that without charge as well. The final price of fixing the AC was a lot less than what my old mechanic, a chain that starts with F, would have charged me. These guys are good value and friendly. Ryle and his team went above and beyond to make sure that my car repair was successful. My a/c was not working in my 2004 Hyundai and Ryle took on the project. I ordered the parts to overhaul the a/c system, and he was happy to do the labor. He found an additional condenser fan that needed to be replaced which he then ordered and installed the same day. The repair would have been largely useless without the new condenser fan. He finished the overhaul in less than one day, and I went on my way. Unfortunately, after only a couple days, the a/c stopped blowing cold. I called him, and he could not have been more nice and said to bring the car back. He said he would not charge for labor and he would fix whatever problem still existed. I took it in, and he discovered a pressure hose needed replacing. He then installed the hose and recharged the system in a matter of a few hours; only charging a the modest price for the Freon and the pressure hose. It's been a super hot month since then, and I routinely get chills in the car because the a/c blows so cold. A talented, honest, and reasonably priced mechanic that I would recommend to anyone! I recently had a fender bender in which I needed immediate repair due to a Dallas drive I had planned to visit my son within the next two days. After reading so many positive reviews about Ryle's, I decided to give them a call to schedule when I could bring in my car. After describing my incident on the phone, a nice gentleman said he knew what the problem might be and to bring it in first thing the following morning. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not too busy and I was greeted within 5 min. I met Ryle and he was the nicest guy! A great example of a local business. I went in for a simple oil change, but the owner started looking around the car right away. He pointed out that I needed a tire rotation but wasn't too pushy about it at all. In the end, a synthetic oil change and a tire rotation cost me $55. Probably the best mechanic I've been to in town. I have been a couple of times already for inspection and oil changes, which are quick and cheap compared to many out there (~$25 for Acura TL). Stopped in yesterday before lunch having problems with my rear suspension. Mechanic took a ride with me to see what the problem was. Said the struts needed to be replaced and he would have it done that day. I left my car and he called back about 30 minutes later with prices for the parts and estimates, which was much cheaper than I expected. It took him a little while to complete the work, but there's only one guy working there at the moment. When I came back to pick up my car he also mentioned that the inner tread on one of my tires was almost gone and I should replace it ASAP. Little details like that go a long way and are why I recommend Ryle's to everyone. read more

This man is unbelievable! To be honest in reading the reviews I wondered if they could all be real. They appear to be. I was arriving with my son's convertible on a trailer with the back window missing. I called to ask what time the garage closed. To make a long story short, he waited over an hour past closing THEN drove me around another 25 minutes trying to get a rental car. I visited some friends in Houston and my car broke down, this was the nearest shop I could get to. He seemed nice at first but he will lie to you just to benefit his business. He wanted to scam me and make me pay him for service of $2,000 "for my car to work". Just because I look young and don't know much about cars he wanted to take advantage of the situation. He literally told me i needed to replace my "entire engine", I am not exaggerating in any way (which is the sad part). I am not THAT naive and knew he wasn't being honest so i went to a different shop and the problem was WAY smaller that what he made it out to be. Stay away. read more
