First to come out was Andrew, who thoroughly and professionally checked out the situation and what would be needed. He planned to contact his glass representative to procure a solution. Then, a few days later I received a call from their glass representative Bobby Rainey. He was super friendly, and scheduled to come over. After measuring and viewing my patio door situation, he indicated that the doors would have to be fully replaced since my current doors were very old and might be impossible to find glass or a door that would fit. Bobby Rainey searched for a week to find a door that might work. Finally, he contacted me and said that he found a door to fit the opening. Within a week, a company delivered new doors for my unit. I then was told by Bobby Rainey that someone would contact me to install the doors. Very soon, I received a call from Dominic to come and install the doors. Bobby Rainey accompanied him to the visit, and Dominic began the work. The project was very difficult to remove the old doors and frame, but after 3 days of very hard work, Dominic finished the door installation. The doors are a beautiful newer vinyl type double pane doors, which I love. My old double pane doors with a metal frame no longer were available. Bobby Rainey returned to recheck all of the work and make a few adjustments to make the doors work perfectly. My responsibility financially was to pay my $500 deductible and my homeowners insurance covered the rest. I pay extra on homeowners insurance to cover replacement cost for any losses, since prices and quality of products change over the years. The total cost for complete door replacement was about $5458.53. Everyone who did work thoroughly cleaned the work area when done. Reapplying new trim and painting it to match my porch area was part of the total job. I am very happy with the professional work that was performed by Paul Davis Restoration. They are a quality company.

It's been a while since Hurricane Idalia, sent a tree through our homes roof. Our homeowners Kin…read moreinsurance company sent a contractor a mere 2 hours after the storm into our heavily damaged area. At first we were grateful until we saw the bills. This tree person contracted by Paul Davis Restoration whom was a general contractor took most of our coverage to remove 2 trees from the roof of the home and shop, and to tarp the house. $ 8,000. Then they didn't even remove the trees fully or cut them down. They merely cleared the drive and even though the men that came were kind and congenial they put a tarp up that was Substandard and the house flooded 2 times before my Brother flew in and he and a friend went to Harbor Freight and bought a quality tarp and tarped it all again. As time went on, Kin Insurance sent Paul Davis Restoration out, their man Andrew worked up a contractors bid for the houses damage. He kept saying, " well we will have to do this and that, are you to your limit w/ insurance? I will call them and see if you have a little wiggle room. " Then he said," can't get to you for months and on and on it went." I was angry at first , but emotions shouldn't dictate a business decision . Then I realized that some previous efforts by a younger man who was supervising the initial response, the tarping, , was buttering me up for the whole scam, " He said," no worries, in my experience with PD , they will make it work, between insurance and your needs." After receiving the bid I was so shocked that it took a while for me to realize what was going on. They wanted over 72,000. Which after the initial $10,000, they'd get our whole house coverage, and wiggle room for a total insured $ 96,000.Fortunately I balked and began a microscopic review of the damages and repairs and got another bid.( better quality, no attitude and much better work for way less money) , There were things on the PD bid that were not even damaged. When asked why? They became hostile. They wouldnt even back up the work they'd already done, ( left us with dollar store tarps that allowed further water damage.), Be aware, never use these people. They stab you in the back all the way to your checkbook because that's all they want. Greedy. Turns out Paul Davis Restoration is nothing more than an organized crime group victimizing those who've been tragically effected by a Natural Disaster and a Statewide crisis.

Well the two technicians they sent out demolished my kitchen. They broke the cabinets and my granite countertop in pieces. Then told us per there contract they don't replace any they break. I eventually made it back to the master bedroom, searching for the awful smell and BAM, there it was! The entire room had standing water. I opened up the doors to the other rooms and discovered all three rooms, two bathrooms and living room have been affected by the standing water. I was very stressed, needless to say. I reached out to a plumber (review to come soon) and he put be in touch with this business. I am so glad! They came out immediately and assured me they would help me throughout the process. I do not think I could have been sent better people!! Seriously, Garrison and Mike have been super helpful! Garrison has been communicating very well as far as what they are doing, what to expect and their plans for the following day. He's been very empathetic and caring throughout this. I have a LOT of belongings and the majority have been destroyed. The worst part is, I was in the midst of unpacking before I left a month ago because I recently purchased this home. I have boxes of clothes, shoes, accessories, purses and so much more that are now trash. Mold on so many things. Due to the bed sitting in water, the legs have cracked, clothes on hangers in the closet smell like mold. It's a disaster. I was upset at the beginning because this is not what one wants to walk into. My plan was to unpack boxes, not pack up what I can salvage. Needless to say, IF you find yourself in need of a restoration company (which I hope you don't), you can't go wrong with Garrison and Mike. If I could give more than five stars, I most definitely would. They will not disappoint you! I must say, if Garrison were not there, I'd probably be more stressed about this than I am. THANK YOU Garrison!
