I saw a targeted advertisement on my words with friends game this morning, and normally, I wouldn't even contact anything that is directly advertised to me. But, as I told Jenni, I felt like it was meant to be, for me to call them. I had a very good experience with her and felt that she was knowledgeable and caring. They are coming out tomorrow for inspection and air sampling, and Tuesday and I will update my review at that time. ******** Update: the specialist, John, came in and made us feel very comfortable about the process. All my interactions with this business, from the time I called Jenni, to my interactions today, were so positive, which is not something I get from all companies I deal with on a regular basis. I felt empowered to make good decisions about what needs to happen next with our home. Samples were sent to the lab. The good news is, he didn't see or smell any mold. It was $295 for the hygrometer and lab testing visit. They also offer free demos but we decided to go directly to the appointment. I was able to choose from a variety of immediate appointments, and he arrived, on time, the very next day after I spoke to the owners. I was very impressed with that. I would highly recommend this company. I can tell they have integrity and I felt confident to hire a reputable local (Tampa Bay) business. There was no upswell, no sale tactics. Anyone that knows me, knows that I write simple, honest reviews and am not swayed by people, big or small companies and I'm just a regular retired housewife who doesn't have a business to represent or a horse in the race, as the saying goes. RUN from these guys if you are going to contract work with them. First, they are good at…read morediscovering mold and suggesting remediation. However, DON'T let them do the remediation. The cost is crazy expensive, and they don't do the complete job. We still have water and mold (and no drywall) after spending nearly $10,000 on about 20 feet of first story "remediation" The job took them a day so imagine the hourly rate - more than a brain surgeon. There is no guarantee or warranty on the work, or none that they honor. They don't do the finish work so you need to contract that out additionally. You should use them to find the mold, suggest a solution, then RUN to find someone else who will do the work at a much more reasonable cost, and probably better. I'm incredibly frustrated and disappointed and still need to spend at least another $5,000-$10,000 to get it done properly. This is a tiny place. You know the feeling you get when you were just conned? They are responsive at getting out quickly, so there's no fault there. I just would never, ever refer business to them or use them again.
