I've been getting my nails done here for almost 4 years, and can't imagine going anywhere else! Yes - they have nail services here and some of the best nail artists I've seen. Judi is who I see, and she always has something fun for me including hand painted art, stamps, Minx or special top coats like chrome. I typically go two or three weeks between manicure appointments and my outgrowth almost always dictates a fresh mani before the gel chips off. I occasionally will get a pedicure here and always enjoy the experience. Because this is a larger salon, they are held to higher certification standards than most nail only places. It's one of the cleanest salons I've been in. You will most likely need an appointment, and There is some weekend and week night availability. Judi usually has me in and out in 35/45 minutes so I will sometimes go over lunch or on my way to or from work. read more

I decided it was time to come in for a cut. Upon entry I was greeted by a friendly front desk who made sure to offer me something to drink. The waiting area is very comfortable seats are wonderful and is for wonderful and updated reading materials. I looked at their product lines they offer and it was amazing the variety not only did they have many of the popular hair brands they also have a large variety of make up and skin care. Shelly shampooed me with the misty ahmazing scalp maasage... is it just me or can anyone else go into a hypnotic trance? The product she used smelled amazing snd left my middle age silver hair soft and fragrant. She listened to my wants and walked me through the cut. She's amazing and quick. Check out was a breeze. The salon is clean and open. It needs to be on your list for your next cut. They also have facials and massages. read more

Trying to come up with new terminology to describe how I'm feeling right now... Relaxation drunk? That's probably the best way (and I think was the term that Emilie) after my facial. I was in no way prepared for the level of service and treatment that I received - in an absolutely fantastic way. The total facial was almost better than a massage and honestly unlike anything I'd experienced before... There were aroma and sensory experiences that I'm having trouble describing. It was detailed attention to the face, neck, as well as shoulders, arms and feet... all while experiencing an atmosphere that allowed me to totally disconnect and take a much-needed break. Frankly I was so relaxed afterwords I was disoriented and probably seem a little out of my mind to the people I encountered on my adventure from the back room of the salon out to the front - during which i fumbled through booking another appointment like I had forgotten how to speak English. Sadly I had to go back to work after that. But I was fully refreshed and ready to finish the day. And now I know to book my facials for the afternoon, evenings or weekends. Do it. read more

I hate to leave this review as it is really reflective on the ownership as opposed to the providers. I went yesterday for an appointment knowing that masks were mandatory and I was more than willing to comply, however I didn't have a fresh mask. I asked the receptionist for one and she informed me a paper mask was five dollars.If you were at the salon, you are willingly paying extra for superior services. For the ownership to take advantage Of the Covid situation and price gouge on a $.50 mask really set the wrong tone from the minute I walked in. I love this salon! Amanda is my go to getting my hair done, I can't imagine going to someone else. I did however have an incident that left me super unhappy with Reve. The girl at the desk that was checking me out gave me the wrong price. I wasn't aware of that, I was just following what they told me my payment would be. But because of her mistake they salon called me back several days later asking me to pay more. I'm sorry but this is not the most professional way to run a business. Besides this annoying incident, I am typically happy about my experiences. read more

Reve is, uh, dreamy. Extremely welcoming staff in a very pleasant atmosphere. Prices are manageable, and it's a great value in general. Gina is the only person that has cut my hair, so I can't speak for the quality of the others' work, but she is very warm, engaging, and competent. This is the BEST salon in Omaha. They sell great products, bumble and bumble among one of the hair care lines of course. All of the nail techs are awesome. One of the nail techs did Lady Gaga's nails for her Nebraska music video. Lady Gaga liked her so much she kept her for the rest of her tour. So, they are really good. The stylist are also way above average. They send their stylist to New York, Chicago and LA for continuing education classes, most hosted by major hair care companies. I love the fact that they take so much pride and invest so much into their salon and stylist. It really shows, I love my hair every time I leave. Cassie K is a true hair miracle worker! read more

Before I started going to Judi, I was a lifelong nail biter, who had never been able to stop for more than a couple weeks. Now, I can happily say that I've had beautiful nails for over three months. From long to super short and back again, I've been seeing stylist Marilynn at Rêvé for ten years. She always remembers my "usual," but has the best recommendations when I'm ready to try something new. The facility is peaceful, fashionable, and welcoming (being there makes me feel cooler than I am, lol), and thanks to Marilynn and the other great Rêvé staff, I always leave with a smile and great hair! read more

My new silk dress, which I've owned for three months, has bleach all over the back from a botched highlight. When I called the salon to ask for a refund to replace the dress, they refused. I work, so I use my lunch break to fit in appointments. This was my first time trying Reve and while I showed up on time, the stylist was 30 minutes late. For a highlight only it cost me $144: $79 for the highlight, $10 for the glaze, $20 for long (shoulder length) hair, $35 for a blow dry. With that being said, Reve's website states prices start around $45 for a highlight and the site gives no indication of additional charges. I was willing to cut my losses and move on without a complaint...until I found bleach stains on the back of my dress. I discovered the dress had been ruined with bleach a month after my initial hair appointment when I took it out of my closet to wear again. I then called Reve and very politely explained my situation. I was told the owner would be back in a week and would give me a call. A week later, when I didn't receive a call, I called back and spoke with the owner who asked that I come in to show her proof of the ruined dress - which I was happy to do. When I arrived, she acknowledged the bleach marks but said too much time had passed for them to refund me. I was shocked! I called several other salons in Omaha to see how they might handle a similar situation since I have never experienced this before - all said the same thing - they would first offer to pay for dry cleaning and if that didn't work they would have to replace the garment. When given the opportunity to right their wrong, they ended up treating me, the customer, like I was a total inconvenience. Reve's business relies on referrals and reputation so I plan on telling EVERYONE about my horrible experience. read more

Walking into Reve salon is similar to walking into a upscale New York salon. The women at the front desk really take care of you and even remember your name!!! The staff is very well dressed and fashion forward, i love to see what they are wearing so i can get ideas for myself. I have been going to Laura M. for several years now and i cannot express the trust that i found within her ever growing talent. I have NEVER left less than totally taken care of and in love with my hair. I highly recommend this salon and especially Laura M to anyone interseted in the total experience!!! read more

I have be going to Marilynn for years and have done many things but this was the toughest yet. Going from dark brown to white with grey/silver highlights and grey roots. I love it so much!! It was a long process first day was 2 hours and the 2nd day to finish I was there for 5 hours but it was totally worth it! Usually when I go for a cut and color, she has me in an out pretty fast. I have been going to Marilynn for a long time. My hair is very thick and sometimes it's very hard for me to manage. At times I just want to cut it all off. This is by far the worst salon I have ever experienced. My hair was cut horrifyingly CROOKED. It was so awful that a second hair dresser attempted to fix it and could not! I was further horrified when I arrived home and lifted my hair to find that not even an attempt had been made at hi-liting it. I have NEVER complained about a salon but I intend on telling everybody how incompetent and inexperienced this salon is. It's going to take months for my hair to grow and I will be sure to talk poorly of this place for double the amount of time it takes to repair my hair. STAY AWAY from this salon! read more

After going to other salons that claimed to be the best, I found that Reve truly is! I went to the popular pricey establishments and had horrible hair color, hair burned and lost from applications but Gina at Reve reversed all damage and gave me beautiful hair like I had in LA again! Reve is pretty pricey salon and I found the staff to be somewhat rude (I didn't roll up in $25,000 car, so I was not treated with the same hospitality as some of the wealthier clientele). I got a manicure here and my nail technician, while polite, did not do an outstanding job (especially for the price). I walked out of the salon with rough nails and quite a few noticeable mistakes. I would not recommend getting a manicure here. read more
