My sister and I had great experiences here for pedicure specials! We got the Firecracker Pedicure, which was the July special. I thought $69 was a good deal for everything the pedicure included plus a drink. We arrived a couple minutes after the scheduled time and they got us in pretty quickly. There were so many polish options, it was hard to choose a color! Our nail techs were both fabulous, I enjoyed being able to sit with my sister and chat or just not have to make conversation. They did such a good job with our pedicures! The drinks were good, they were a pop rocks 4th of July themed drink. The pop rocks were a fun addition! I loved the little photo ooo in the waiting area, too. My sister had been here before and she said she liked her past experiences here. I'd come back again! read more

This is not my normal or regular nail salon but I desprately needed help with my nails as they were breaking. I headed there from an appointment and walked in at 437. I was told it would be close to 5, and I said okay. I sat there until just after 5 not really impatient, as everyone coming in had appts. Well then the receptionist and another girl started laughing and brought me back to a manicurist. Everyone was laughing..I guess they pulled the wrong girl at first so I waited longer than necessary, and EVERYONE thought it was sooooo funny that I was waiting and the mix up. I clearly didn't think it was funny and felt so embarrassed the whole appointment. Overall the color and service was okay, but that left a terrible feeling overall and IDK if I would return. Best nails I've ever had. The salon is beautiful, music is great. I booked online and it was nice to know ahead of time the pricing policy. You can also leave notes for the technician about the service you're requesting. I like to rock long stiletto nails & Wee killed it. I also booked a pedicure. I was nervous because I hate my toenails. Lynn was very gentle and made it a relaxing experience. The lemon berry drink I had was refreshing as well as relaxing. What a gem. My manicure was ok, she overused the dremmel when taking off the dip a few times which literally made it feel like fire on my nail and I've had better polish jobs before, but it's not awful. The pedicure felt rushed and he hurt my cuticles quite a few times. Other than that it was ok, though the leg massage was nice and I really like they have this block that comes up to rest your foot on when it is time to scrub your feet instead of you having to hold your leg in midair while they do the bottoms of your feet. There are many good reviews here, so maybe it is just a matter of who services you. I will come again and look through the reviews and choose my manicurist next time. I will say they are worth another try. I will update my review on my next visit. I would like to give 2.5 stars but I had to choose 2 or 3 and it wasn't a 3 star experience. read more

Had every intention of continuing my nail services here but if you leave a less than stellar review, you will be blacklisted. Don't waste your time or money at Minabella's. I recently had a very disappointing Zero Gravity Citrus Pedicure + Express Facial. I booked this appointment a few days after my Japanese Head Spa Massage (which was AMAZING). The price point the Zero Gravity Pedicure + Express Facial is offered at here is NOT worth that price. Despite showing up on time to my appointment, I waiting in the lobby for 20+ minutes. When I made my way back to the spa, the spa was dark and cold, not inviting like it was when I had my Japanese Head Spa. The lights were all turned off except for the room where my appointment would be held in. When I entered the room, it was FREEZING. Even though I had a small blanket to cover me, I was still so cold. The first 5-10 minutes my tech was still running around getting things set-up while I wait for my appointment to begin (mind you, I had already waiting for 20 minutes in the lobby before I was called back). This appointment was to include an express facial (35 minutes) and a 45 minute zero gravity citrus pedicure. The facial was maybe 20 minutes. Definitely not as advertised. The zero gravity pedicure, per the website, should have included heated eye mask (mine did), noise canceling headphones (mine did), heated shoulder/neck pad (mine did not), 6 hot towels (mine did), foaming foot shampoo (mine did), foot file (mine did), dry scrub (I think mine did), warm lotion/oil (mine did), steam (mine did intermittently), scalp massage (mine did not), toe nail care (partially done - barely filed nails and polished. No cuticle treatment). The polish was not done with care (see photos). This service should be advertised as a lower leg/foot massage + super express pedicure + express facial. This is not a pedicure, at all. I would rather have had a regular pedicure than pay the upcharge for this service. Incredibly disappointing. read more

I think the design and layout of the building could be better. All the massage chairs are just push to the walls, so it feels very empty in there even when the place is busy. There's just a lot of interior design things that they could do to make the place look more modern and chic. I came here with my best friend. We got the deluxe pedicure. I was pleased with the shellac nail polish that was placed. It was done well and there were no streaks. And it was nice because I didn't feel like she rushed through the whole process. One of the workers did come around and asked us if we want any drinks. We both got water and I saw that they had sodas also, but I am not sure if they have alcohol. read more

I was in charge of booking mani/pedi's for a bridal party, most of the girls weren't available until 6pm on a week day, most places close at 7 so I'm grateful for Minabella and that they close at 8, able to get us all in. However, the girls that just did shellac nails, none of them looked very good. Just overall sloppy. We were able to use the party room so that was nice, and when you use the party room it says you get 2 bottles of champagne or wine, or anything on the menu. I really don't think a lot of things went according to the info on their website. I will say, the girl that did my mani/pedi did a good job, she was kind and helpful. The bride had a great manicure as well, but I also think we were over charged for what their website said. It wasn't the worst experience I've had but I don't think I'll be back. read more

I had always seen reviews on Facebook for this place, but was always hesitant to go in. Once I moved closer to the area, I thought I'd give it a chance as I was in need of a new nail salon. I went once and haven't stopped coming! I've tried other nail salons in the area, but they don't do as good of a job as they do here. The salon is clean and spacious, and has an aesthetic wall you can take pictures at once you're done. I recommend making an appointment as spots fill up fast for their technicians, and they don't always have walk in appointment available. Iris, my technician, does an immaculate job every time I go. Whether that is an intricate design, or a simple dip manicure, she always takes her time to make sure I walk out with beautiful nails. My designs and polish last for weeks without any chipping. I used to really enjoy going to Minabella Nail Salon. My nail tech was consistently great, and for two years, I was a loyal, happy customer. But heaven forbid you have one off experience and care enough to leave a respectful, constructive review -- because apparently, that's grounds for exile. I didn't write my review to complain or cause trouble. I genuinely wanted to help the salon keep doing what they do well by pointing out a slip in the experience. You know -- feedback. The thing businesses pretend to appreciate. Unfortunately, the manager decided to take it personally and acted entirely on her own to blacklist me from coming back. Not because I was rude. Not because I was difficult. But because I dared to care about quality and said so... respectfully. It's disappointing to see such unprofessionalism coming from leadership, especially when the rest of the staff has always been great. I am bummed to give this place a 3 star rating because it was beautiful on the inside and had so much potential, but after leaving and reflecting on my experience, I have to be honest. NAILS : We got out nails and toes done for my sisters wedding and I got shellac on top and just paint on my toes. Unfortunately, it was just a bit of a sloppy job not only on mine, but all of ours. Within 3 days of leaving my toes were already chipping, and within 5 days my nails were already lifting. I believe the best nail places leave your toes set for a good while and your nails for AT THE MINIMUM a week, if not two weeks. However, ours all came off and chipped soon after and it was not a cheap experience. SERVICE : The front desk ladies were cordial but not overly nice, however the people who did our nails and toes were sweet and very pleasant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS They completely butchered my wife's nails. First with the first polish that they were doing was old with thick pieces of old dried polish and was drying matte. Obviously this isn't what you want so she had to select a different polish and they started over. The old polish was not even properly removed, and it was rushed through and done very poorly. When she showed how bad they were, the lady said she would have the manager call her later because she was too busy. It's been 5 days now, she has called 2 times and and been told the same thing. Now today when she tried to call for a third time, it didn't work because they blocked her number. If you call the place, they don't know when the manager is available or will be in, can't answer any questions on her whereabouts. No accountability. Look at the pictures below, this looks like a kid tried to paint her nails with white-out. Again, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I have gone here a few times at the recommendation of a close friend of mine. My first experience was wonderful, I booked my pedicure and eyebrow threading online a few weeks in advance and received a friendly reminder of my appointments a few days before them. I love that! It's easy to get in the groove of setting appointments then as the time gets closer we can easily lose track of what's going on. Friendly reminders are a must in my book! I'm thankful they have a system set up for that. The day came around and my pedicure was luscious and relaxing. I chose the diamond pedicure which included hot stones, a massage, mud mask and paraffin wax. I forgot about the wax but was excited to have that included. It felt extra special. I knew I needed a nice pedicure after it had been a few months and we were attending a wedding in a few days. I wanted have nice beautiful nails for it! My nail technician was friendly and professional. When asked if she could add a design on my big toes she happily obliged and made a beautiful flower to go with the purple nail color I chose. I will say, I enjoyed getting my toes done here. It's a pretty big space and though it's somewhat loud like many other nail salons it certainly has great filtration systems for the strong chemical smells that they usually have. Just after my pedicure I had an appointment for an eyebrow threading. I had a lovely first experience with her. My eyebrows turned out beautifully with her skilled hands and I was hopeful to have found a new eyebrow threader to continue to go to. My second experience I had booked a few weeks in advance again and showed up early since I happened to be in the area. My appointment was at 11 and I got there around 1045 or so. I sat down and eagerly waited for my appointment. I noticed someone else come in and stated she was a walk in for eyebrow threading. The lady came out to get her next appointment and mistakenly brought in the walk in before me. I was understanding at the time, despite having to wait another 20 mins for an appointment I had already booked in advance. She was called out again by the desk associate and apologized. When I went in for my appointment she did a great job again and I was happy with her service. She ended up gifting me a certificate for the cost of the eyebrow threading which I decided to use again just last week. This time, I booked a few days in advance for her first appointment at 10am. I arrived at the spa about 10 mins early and headed in to check in and wait. When 10 'o clock came around I figured she come out shortly. I was surprised to she her come in 10 mins later as though she just came from a workout. I was a little disappointed that these two separate experiences were less than what I'd expect from a beauty resort such as this. I was less happy with my eyebrows than I was at the previous times but happy she was able to still see me. I'm not sure if these are fluke experiences but I may need to look to a different space that offers eyebrow threading or try waxing again every once in awhile somewhere else. I would definitely get another pedicure with a beautiful design from Minabella in the future. The diamond pedicure is certainly worth it! read more

This was my first time here and although it wasn't a bad experience, I am not satisfied with my design. I brought in an image of a Crown on one nail, and had trouble communicating with the stylist. In the end she understood my request and did get it correct, but as you can see one crown is not fully filled with gold, and has 2 jewels a little off center. In addition, I asked for a gold diamond in the center of two silver diamonds which I got, but I did not notice until after it was over that she picked two different tones of gold on either hand. I went in for a shellac manicure and pedicure. If you are a young girl I would not recommend going here. The guy who did my pedicure rubbed my legs with a towel (all products were below my knee) and when wiping product off my legs he went up to my upper and inner thighs and made me extremely uncomfortable. Why does someone need to touch my upper inner thighs if the service is below the knee? This was the creepiest and most uncomfortable experience I've ever had a nail salon. I had 2 people with me who changed from a deluxe combo to shellac and were told it would only be $15 up charge. The salon did not communicate that it would be for each service- a $30 up charge. And after bill it was more like a $40 up charge. For a shellac mani pedi it said it would take an hour and a half and mine was done in an hour. On all of my nails there is a blue tint where the top coat is very unevenly coated on. I spent over $100 on my nails and they were not worth it. I also got a design on my toes and was not told there was an up charge until I got my bill. Very unhappy with the poor communication and the rushed job. I thought going to a beauty spa would be a relaxing way to spend time together before we left for vacation and it was extremely disappointing and a waste of money. Considering the prices here are higher then anywhere else I've gone I thought the quality would be a lot better. But the quality from here was the worst I've experienced. read more

I am going to start by saying that I've never been to Minabella. I was planning a girl's evening for my stepmom's Christmas present. I spent a lot of time planning and emailing and on the phone to get appointments set up for 3 manicures and pedicures and one facial. They were good enough to let me add another person after initially setting up the appointment for 3 people! Then came the weathermen saying 6 inches of snow and freezing drizzle. I understand that Minabella has a strict cancellation policy which I completely support. However, when weather may or may not hit and weathermen in Nebraska are notoriously bad, it feels a little ridiculous to force me to cancel 24 hours before we can see what the real weather will do or else charge my credit card for services. There has to be some exception for people who do not want to cancel by any means but are forced to or else risk not making it (or driving in unsafe conditions) just to avoid a couple hundred dollar charge. Needless to say, I made the choice to cancel about 26 hours in advance per the policy and the weather didn't hit AND I got an annoyed phone call an hour after my appointment would have started reminding me of my appointment. I'm going to reschedule the 4 appointments at another salon where I hope the customer service is better. And now Minabella Beauty Resort is retaliating by using my email and phone number to spam me. They've so far signed up for a Zillow tour and health insurance consultation and I have gotten a ton of calls messages and email. I've reported them to the BBB and will be reporting to the police as well. read more

The tech had her license displayed and didn't use the drill on my nails which is a plus for me because I know it's not healthy to put the drill directly on the bare nail. I am in town for a tournament and needed a break from all the high school boys. The environment is relaxed with a nice layout. The hostess (manager?) walked around and checked in with staff and customers asking if she could bring a beverage or anything else. The pedicure chairs were is great condition (my biggest pet peeve is when they are broken or shotty) My nail tech did a GREAT job and really made it a wonderful experience. I opted for the crystal package and got the paraffin treatment. They have hand knit booties they put over the wax baggies that are so cute and add to the fun. All in all, a great experience I would recommend. If I find myself back in Omaha, I would for sure come back. read more

I will say Minabella got the job done. It's been 1.5 months since I had my pedicure and my wax. My toes have held up. The esthetician was great. I forgot her name, but she did an excellent job on my brows. However, I came here with my mom and made reservations for us. We don't see each other a lot. So it was important to me that she and I were together. I told them I wanted us to get pedicures together/wanted us to sit together. They said we should be able to. When the time came, they sat my mom in a chair and kind of just left me standing there hanging out. It took a long time for anyone to come help us. So eventually I just grabbed one of the stools the workers sit on. Finally, someone came and got me to be waxed and I got a chair. The workers to a good job, but my experience was messy. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Some how I end up back here each year because my friends rave that the service is amazing...but I always tend to get crap. This time was no different. Not only was the pedicure lackluster (my 3 year old niece could've done a better job painting my toes), but they ended up taking a chunk of skin off one of my toes while they were doing the callous removal. Not only was I bleeding, but the tech noticed it, didn't say anything and continued to put my foot back into the water after I repeatedly said it hurt and I wanted to keep my foot out. After she was done with her crappy paint job, she looked at it and said "oh so small" referring to the missing top of my pinky toe and then smiled.
