Very Disappointed With My Experience…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this practice and regret choosing to have my procedure performed here. From the beginning, I made it very clear during my consultation that my under-eye area and nasolabial folds were my biggest insecurities. I sought a professional consultation specifically because I wanted Dr. expertise and recommendations. I trusted his judgment and relied on what was discussed during the consultation when making the decision to move forward with surgery. I want to clarify that I never asked for my procedure to be changed. The decision to change the procedure from a mini lift to a SMAS face and neck lift was made by Dr the day of surgery. I trusted his professional judgment and proceeded accordingly. After surgery, I raised my concerns to Gabriela RN (the owner), about my under-eye area because this was one of the primary concerns I had communicated from the beginning. Unfortunately, I did not feel heard or that my concerns were genuinely addressed. I was especially disappointed by the way my concerns were handled afterward. Rather than feeling that the practice was focused on understanding my experience and concerns as a patient, I felt that the discussion became primarily about what the practice would or would not provide financially. Gabriella emphasized that "this is a business". That statement was extremely upsetting and, in my opinion, speaks volumes about how my concerns were handled. I am not claiming that I requested or consented to an eyelid procedure that was not part of my surgical plan. My concern is that I clearly communicated what bothered me most about my appearance, sought professional guidance, trusted the recommendations I was given, and expected those concerns to be appropriately considered. The most disappointing part of this entire experience has been feeling that there was no genuine advocacy for me as a patient when I expressed concerns. I expected communication, compassion, and an effort to understand my perspective. Instead, I left feeling unheard and extremely disappointed. While I appreciate the improvements I have seen from the face and neck lift itself, the overall experience has been deeply upsetting. Patients deserve to feel that their concerns are taken seriously, especially when those concerns were clearly communicated before surgery. I am sharing my experience because I believe people considering this practice should be aware of my experience and make an informed decision before moving forward.
