I came here for treatments after I suffered a sudden, severe medical stay which left me with massive surgical scars internally & externally on my hips and back. Highly recommend!! This was my first time doing cryotherapy so I was a little anxious (not a fan of the cold ). From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the friendly and informative staff, my anxiety pretty much completely went away. They are very professional and friendly and I can't imagine a better spot to do your cryo- therapy sessions. I've been wanting to do this for a while due to inflammation I have in my neck, back and shoulders. My son has gone many times and swears by it so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I tried this because I will continue to do these sessions to help with my inflammation issues. My session was only 2 1/2 minutes and it did go by pretty quickly although it's very very cold in there. You leave your undergarments on and they give you a robe to wear although you take it off once inside as well as long socks, mittens and a cloth to cover your ears. As soon as I came out I felt a nice tingling sensation all over my body and then felt very energetic for the rest of the day. This isn't something you do one time only, you'll have to have several sessions to get the full benefit from it, which is why I plan to continue once I get back to Florida. The location is in studio city, California and is clean and they are taking all of the Covid safety precautions necessary to keep you safe. Your first time visit is only $25 so I definitely recommend trying it out to see if you like it. I highly recommend this location! read more

I came here to try the cryotherapy since I've been hearing how good it's for recovery. When I walked in I was greeted by friendly guys at the front desk. They had a special to try one session for $25 so I tried it. Each session is 3.5min max and it's like -120F I believe. They provide ear covers, gloves, and socks and recommend that you keep those on at all times. You are allowed to pick a song which I thought was a cute touch. I wasn't sure what to think of it after just one session so I decided to buy a bulk and really see if it works. They had a special sell for packages of sessions at that time too. I've done maybe 4 or 5 sessions and I always feel good after so I think it's helping. My only complaint is that I wish they had longer hours of operation. I would love to try my sessions back to back instead of having them so spaced out. Otherwise, I would recommend it. They also have free parking which is always a plus for me. read more

What a great experience. I'm an avid crossfitter, runner and also train some oly so my muscles are constantly beaten up. I hd been to another cryo place where i went into a black chamber. While the treatment was good the black dark chamber was a bit intimidating. At US cryo they have a big white open chamber with only one door. This makes entrance and exit simple. Also you can see out into the room which is comforting. My girlfriend and I went and had the best experience. They took our temperatures before and after to ensure we had an effective change to benefit our bodies. It was 3 minutes of awesomeness !! I went in limping and walked out feeling stellar! My body is a walking contradiction of top-fit perfection and terminal health issues. I work out two hours a day, 7 days a week training hard core... but I don't take rest days or get massages. I eat super healthy but suffer from a terminal autoimmune disorder. I rarely put any toxic chemicals in my body but I have insomnia and chronic migraines. Basically, I'm fit as a fiddle and yet still suffer from health issues. I even have cysts, one of which is being surgically removed later this month and the time of this review. All that being said, I'm not a fan of western medicine and prefer alternate supplements or health procedures. I've read rave reviews regarding cryotherapy and have been wanting to try it for quite some time. I was browsing my Facebook feed when US Cryotherapy popped up with an advertisement offering $29 first-time sessions (usually $50). I decided without even blinking to partake and treat myself. Making an appointment was easy and quick and everything was through Facebook messenger with an email confirmation. US Cryotherapy is located in a double-decker strip plaza at the corner of Ventura/Tujunga. Parking here is, bluntly, a nightmare as the plaza is super busy and there is only one-way driving. Be prepared with coins in case you have to find a street-side meter. Once that stress is figured out, you enter an airy, modern, establishment with clean lines reminiscent of a spa meets tanning salon meets physical therapy office. It is a mixture of health and 'cool' (no pun intended). I was welcomed by Andrew at the front desk who advised to sign in via two wall-mounted tablets which asked basic client information plus questions about individualized health issues and what you seek to get out of cryoptherapy. It should be noted that US Cryotherapy offers more than just cryo: they do facials, fat freezing, etc. Plus, everything can be purchased per session, in bundles, or with memberships. They are on top of their game! My wait was short and female attendants were ready to explain the cyrotherapy process. Basically, you are given tube socks, a surgical mask, a headband, crocs, and a robe to change into in a dressing room. Optimal skin exposure is recommended so for instance I went in tiny booty workout shorts and a tank top but you can go in a sports bra and panties or even nude. Once you change and come out in the robe, the attendant takes your body temperature and you choose a song to play during your three minutes in the booth because you have to move around/dance a little bit. During the last fifteen seconds (there is a countdown) you put the robe back on and signal that you are dressed. So, how was the actual cryo? COLD!!!! I don't recommend it for anyone with claustrophobia as it is icy and foggy and I can see why some people would panic. It is invigorating to say the least and I was sort of laughing and dancing the whole time. I started to shiver in the last 30 seconds and my nose was running and my eyeliner ran as though I was crying so I can see why three minutes is the cut-off. Now, I don't know how much of this is a trend and how much is truly beneficial but I did enjoy it, I felt energized afterwards, and slept great overnight. Long story short, I WILL return. After the session, Andrew spoke to me about the services they offer and handed me some brochures but wasn't overly selling which I appreciate. I also had no issue redeeming the Facebook promo price and all went smoothly. My major complaint aside from parking? I received 4 emails, two texts, and a Facebook message before my appointment to remind me of my scheduled time. Calm the eff down, US Cryo! I GOT IT! I REMEMBER! Sheesh. Cut back on the number of intrusive reminders! On a side note: Andrew is handsome to the max! Top eye candy here, folks! Overall, US Cryo is certainly recommended aside from the parking situation and the overabundance of appointment reminders. The business is professional and yet friendly while, the actual establishment is clean and modern, and the services are top-tier. Whether you want to knock cyro off your bucket list or seek optimal health benefits; head to US Cyro in Studio City. read more

There is not a moment that I don't regret seeing the ad for this and doing this. I can not tell you enough - do not be as stupid as I was to do this. Don't destory your looks and your face like it did to me. Do NOT do the chyrotherapy facial. It feels good in the session but it is NOT safe. I would give anything to go back in time and not do this treatment! It changed my facial features and massively aged me. This is a dangerous treatment, It left my face UNEVEN and CROOKED. I'd sue if I could!! Others have noticed and told me I look different in a BAD way. I am left deformed and it just keeps getting worse over time. How can they feel okay with hurting people this way. This is a wonderful cryo-spa! Extremely clean, courteous and very well run. I am a 55+ years young woman that was looking for some post workout relief from my aches and pains - and I found just that here with a cryo chamber & localized cryo session. After my very first session, I was able to climb stairs with significantly less knee pain. I also experienced increased energy. I am extremely claustrophobic - but found that with their shower-like glass cryo chamber this was NOT an issue. I also loved that I was able to pick my favorite song ... I love cryotherapy! I hate cold temperatures but I absolutely love this method. The duration of the treatment is only 2 1/2-3 minutes long. The full body chamber here gets to around -180 degrees. I promise it's worth a try! It's so good for you. Especially if you are experiencing any muscle pain. I go purely for weight loss. After cyro I feel like a new person. I recommend doing a session before you work out. You'll burn twice as many calories and have a burst of energy! I really like how you can select a song to jam to prior to going in the chamber. I just danced all the way through! It was $29 for my first time. Not too bad. This location is extremely clean and high end. I felt really comfortable.
