I originally booked online and received a confirmation email for Tuesday the 25th from 8-12. After that, a very nice lady called me and explained that the time would actually be 12-5 instead and that someone would call me again to confirm when they would be coming. Okay, no problem. Then after that phone call, I received ANOTHER email saying my appointment was all set for Wednesday, August 26th?? At that point I genuinely had no idea what day or time my cleaning was supposed to be. I tried calling Molly Maid of Long Beach three times after they opened and couldn't get through to anyone. What confused me even more was receiving a message at 5:42 PM asking me to call back to confirm my booking, when their listed office hours are 8-5. By then, no one was available to take my call or respond through Yelp because it was already past their office hours. Their AI chat is actually pretty cool and responsive, but unfortunately that was pretty much the only consistent communication I had with the company. For a house cleaning service where you're scheduling people to come into your home, I personally need clearer communication with an actual person, especially when the appointment date and time keep changing. Molly Maid of Long Beach seems to have plenty of good reviews, and I honestly would have loved to try their cleaning service. I can't speak on the quality of their actual cleaning because we never got that far. My experience is strictly with the booking and customer service process. Please work on the follow-ups and confirmation emails you guys send. Going from Tuesday 8-12, to Tuesday 12-5, and then somehow to Wednesday, while not being able to reach anyone, was just too confusing for me to feel comfortable moving forward.

I have a shihpoo who demands a lot of attention, so keeping up with deep cleaning can sometimes get away from me. When I say they saved my life, I'm not exaggerating. Kizzy and Alice absolutely delivered. They cleaned my apartment top to bottom. Baseboards, surfaces, floors, everything. They even did my laundry which was such a huge help. I stepped out to run errands while they worked and came back about four hours later to an apartment that felt completely reset. The space looked amazing and felt so much lighter. Beyond the quality of the cleaning, they were also just lovely people. Polite, helpful, respectful of my space, and they even gave my dog some love while they were here. They took all the trash with them when they left which I really appreciated. From the quick scheduling with Alex to the incredible work from Kizzy and Alice, this was such a great experience. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I was effectively left with no choice. At that point, half of the house had already been cleaned, leaving me to either pay the additional $600 or have the company walk away with the job unfinished. As the owner of a property management company, I found this business practice extremely concerning and unprofessional. If the scope of work was underestimated, that should have been identified before the work began, not after the customer is already committed. In my opinion, this pricing approach feels misleading and unethical. I would strongly encourage others to get all pricing and expectations in writing before hiring this company.
